About: Growing up I have always cared for our family pets. Today I have 3 rescue dogs of my own. My pups are apart of my family. I volunteer to transport dogs to a safe homes. Animals of any type depend on their humans to care for them. When their humans can’t be there for some reason they still need that special care and attention. I have always struggled when leaving my dogs to go away. What do I do with them? Who will care for them like I do? I would like to help people to be at ease knowing your pet will be well taken care of in my hands because I understand what it is like to have that worry. I will care for your pet as though they are mine.
“Tina was as good for me as she was for Tommy! I had a pretty busy, stressful day ahead of me and she took a lot of my problems away by giving me a safe place to leave Tommy where he could play and be kept busy while I got my things taken care of pretty efficiently. Her compassion and kindness will not be forgotten.”

About: I have lived on a farm since I was born until college, and my parents still live on one. I love all animals and always willing to help out. I don’t mind if they are wild puppies or older dogs we will get though the walk or stay together! I only work 2 days a week, so my schedule is pretty open! I have a very large back yard not fenced in, but I can take out all dogs on a leash.I have one other dog that your dog can play with or we can play inside to make sure everyone stays safe! I plan on walking them throughout the neighborhood. If I go to a clients house whatever the clients wants me to do to best care for their dog I will.
“Cassie was amazing!! This was Tilly's first pet sitter experience and Cassie made everything great!! Highly recommend Cassie!! She will be my go to if I ever need a pet sitter again!! 10 STARS!!!!”

About: I am 24, I’ve grown up with all kinds of animals since I was a baby and have grown up with 20+ dog breeds, I’ve raised and trained Puppies with my mom for years. I have a huge heart for all animals and don’t have any allergies, I do have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 ball python and a decent sized backyard. I give all animals plenty of love, attention and playtime, there is forest and field parks around me so if your dog is good on a leash I can take them there to run around and play, my neighborhood is quiet and calm all the time other than dogs barking few times throughout the day, they will love it here. I’m an animal nerd and know how to care for almost any animal including reptiles, amphibians and bugs! I currently have no job due to my agoraphobia making it very hard to work and have a steady income, I am available all day every day unless I have plans I have a fenced in yard but live in a small house, all of my animals are people and pet friendly so they will not show any aggression towards you or your pets
“Bill and Mary are a great team that took care of our pup and showed him lots of love. We appreciated a "meet and greet" with their dogs and ours to ensure they got along okay. Our pup was able to play very well with their three dogs. From the way he came home tired, he had an awesome time playing with Bill, Mary and the other dogs.”
“Samantha was amazing! She took our pup in for doggy daycare last minute, was so kind and caring, and took fantastic care of our pup! She sent me updates throughout the day with pictures and was so flexible and accommodating to meet our pup’s needs and provide him with the best experience. He loved running and playing with her dogs and came home so happy! Would 100% recommend her and will definitely be using her daycare services again!”

“Rommel can be pretty shy around new folks so I am always nervous about introducing him to new people. He also isn’t a very affectionate dog (he only likes being petted when he first wakes up, then he has has enough and doesn’t really want that). When I went to pick him up he was loving all over them. I haven’t seen him warm up to anyone as quickly and as completely as he did here. What a wonderful experience!”

“This is my first time using Rover and Ashliegh was great to work with. My dog had a great time playing with her kids and she sent updated pictures often (which I appreciated). Happy to have found her!”

“Kyla is AMAZING! My husband and I were in need of a sitter last minute and Kyla was quick to respond and super great at updates and communication. Our dog has been shedding a lot lately and Kyla took the time to groom her which was so kind! I can’t recommend Kyla enough for your dog sitting needs 🐶!”
“Jodi accepted my last minute request and did an amazing job caring for our pup! Benny is pooped after playing all day and her backyard is great for dogs that like to sniff and have space to run. Thanks again!”

About: I have had animals my entire life so there is never a time where I wasn't around one. I also trust them more than people so therefore, they trust me more than most as well. I am a stay at home mom with 2 under 2 so I am always home and most likely available but I will probably have my children when I do any services on this app. I have 4 cats and 4 dogs of all colors and a variety of personalities so I am used to chaos. I have a fenced yard, pools and toys everywhere for my dogs to run around. My cats have their own room with all the beds and scratching posts they desire. I feed them on a timed schedule but have full water bowls all around the house for them to drink at their leisure all day. I have furniture set up specifically so they can look out windows and there are no rules when it comes to where they can sleep.
About: I treat every dog like family—because that’s how I care for my own! I’ve spent years caring for my dogs and those of friends and family, especially while they were out of town. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, including playful puppies and slower-moving seniors who need extra patience and love. Whether it’s belly rubs, slow strolls, or high-energy playtime, I adjust to meet each dog’s unique needs. Your pup will be pampered, safe, and loved—just like they deserve! Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. I work part-time as a home health caregiver three days a week. On those days, I have a split schedule—just 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, with a break in between. This gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. Outside of those hours, my schedule is very open, allowing me to give your pet the love, attention, and care they need—whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just keeping them company while you're away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I treat every dog like my own—loved, pampered, and well cared for. I make sure they have a calm, clean, and secure environment, free of hazards and full of attention. If I’m in your home, I respect your space and your pet’s routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, from meal times and medication to play and potty breaks. I also send regular updates so you can feel confident and connected while you're away. With my background as a home health caregiver, being attentive, responsible, and trustworthy is second nature to me—qualities I bring to every pet I care for.
“Fran’s ears go up followed by a cute little head tilt whenever I mention that it’s “time to go see Mrs. Laken” 😀 I can tell she really loves her days there and getting to hangout with Remy and Mouse, other pet friends and of course Bostynn ☺️ because she starts to get so excited as soon as we turn onto the street. I appreciate all of the cuddles and love my girl receives. Thank you from me and Nanny Fran.”

“This was an outstanding experience and we will gladly trust our dog (Miss Maya) with Jennifer and family in the future. We booked last minute but she was quick to respond and accommodate us. Throughout her stay, we received frequent updates — a lot of pictures and videos. Jennifer watched Miss Maya for us two days in a row while work on the house was being done. In the car ride out on the second day, Miss Maya was anxious (we’d bounced around to different locations for over a week). Once we got to Jennifer’s home, however, she immediately relaxed. She trotted up to the door, tail wagging, and was clearly pleased to be back for another day. Jennifer’s children were so gentle and kind with Miss Maya. I can’t say enough good things about her. Thank you for taking such good care of Miss Maya!”

About: I am a dedicated dog enthusiast with more than 13 years of hands-on experience caring for and raising dogs through every stage of life, from puppyhood to senior care. While my greatest experience has been with Great Danes, I have also spent years raising and caring for Pit Bull Terriers, developing a strong understanding of the unique needs, personalities, and characteristics of both breeds. My experience includes puppy development and socialization, basic obedience training, nutrition and wellness management, daily exercise routines, preventative care, and supporting dogs through adulthood and their senior years. I have cared for aging dogs with mobility challenges, administered medications when needed, and provided the patience, comfort, and attention necessary to maintain their quality of life as they age. Living and working with Great Danes has given me extensive knowledge of giant-breed care, while my experience with Pit Bull Terriers has strengthened my appreciation for intelligent, loyal, and energetic companions. Beyond these breeds, I have a genuine love for dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about the unique traits and needs that make every breed special. Choosing me to care for your dog also offers the unique benefit of two welcoming locations. In Lancaster, Ohio, dogs enjoy a comfortable, home-based environment where they can relax and receive personalized attention as part of the family. In Pataskala, Ohio, dogs have access to 15 acres of open space for supervised exploration, exercise, and enrichment. While the property is unfenced, all outdoor activities are closely monitored to ensure safety. During their stay in Pataskala, dogs can relax alongside me in a cozy, home-like camper, providing a comfortable and secure environment that helps them feel at ease while away from home. My approach to canine care is rooted in compassion, consistency, and respect for each dog's individual personality. Whether caring for a playful puppy, an active adult, or a beloved senior, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment where dogs can thrive and feel like valued members of the family. Your dog's comfort, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities. ABOUT ME I'm a stay-at-home mom and lifelong dog lover with over 13 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions. Because I am home full-time, your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day and night. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, they'll never feel like they're being left alone for long periods. I have three children who have grown up around large-breed dogs their entire lives, including Great Danes and Pit Bull Terriers. They understand how to interact respectfully with dogs, are well-mannered around dogs they don't know, and have learned the importance of giving each dog the space and attention they need to feel comfortable and secure. One of the unique benefits of choosing me is the flexibility of two care locations, allowing you to select the environment that best suits your dog's personality and needs: 📍 Lancaster, Ohio – A traditional home setting where your dog can enjoy a comfortable family environment, regular routines, and plenty of one-on-one attention. 📍 Pataskala, Ohio – A peaceful rural property with 15 acres of open land for supervised exploration, exercise, and enrichment. While the property is unfenced, all outdoor time is carefully supervised. Dogs stay with me in a cozy camper that serves as a comfortable, home-like space during their visit. Whether your dog prefers the familiarity of a traditional home environment or the adventure of wide-open spaces, the choice is yours. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience where your dog is treated like a member of the family from the moment they arrive until it's time to go home. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! 🐾💕 When your dog stays with me, they'll be treated like part of the family. I strive to keep your dog's routine as consistent as possible by following feeding schedules, exercise preferences, medication instructions, and any special requests you provide. I understand how important it is for dogs to feel secure when away from home, and I work hard to create a calm, positive environment where they can relax and thrive. I offer two care settings, allowing you to choose the environment that best fits your dog's personality: Lancaster, Ohio – A traditional home environment ideal for dogs who enjoy a familiar family atmosphere, indoor comfort, and plenty of companionship. Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 614 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Granville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Granville commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 614 sitters in Granville, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
