About: I've taken care of a variety of dog breeds throughout my life. I have experience with farm dogs since I was young and grew up with smaller dogs as well. I understand the trust that goes into taking care of other's pets. I will love and care for your pets just as you do! I am open on Friday's to walk or play with your pets. Additionally, I can do the same on evenings during the week. I am open to scheduling on weekends occasionally, so please free free to ask if needed. When caring for pets in your home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding times, medication, playtime, or bedtime rituals—so your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar space. On walks, your pet’s safety and happiness come first. I will tailor each walk to your dog’s energy level, age, and preferences—whether that’s a brisk walk, a slow sniff-around-the-block, or some active play. I keep walks leashed, positive, and free from unsafe interactions.

Growing up with four or more pets at a time gave me experience with everything from puppy energy to training to caring for adult and senior pets. I’m comfortable following whatever routines, rules, or care instructions your pet needs to feel safe and happy. Whether that means sticking to their favorite walk, keeping up with playtime, or providing plenty of cuddles, I’ll treat your fur-baby like my own. I’m also experienced with both dogs and cats and can adapt to each pet’s personality, whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between. About: While growing up I was always around animals and my family currently has two dogs. I’ve taken care of all different kinds of dogs of all different ages and sizes! Working at a doggy daycare definitely gave me a lot more experience as well. I am experienced in giving baths, cutting nails, brushing out knots, brushing teeth, and dealing with all sorts of food and meals with all sorts of ingredients! I love going on walks with my own dogs on nicer days, even though they have a big yard to play in. My 90lb lab can be pretty strong, but I always feel in control and confident in keeping her safe with me! My schedule is pretty flexible and open!! Just let me know what works for you and I will try my very best to have that time for you if I’m not already free! My pups at home have a big fenced yard that they like to explore and run around. My lab was half-trained to be a bird dog so she loves trying to sniff out any critters back there in our gardens. Both of my dogs are big on affection, so when they’re not busy with their toys, they’ll come and cuddle/sit with me!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs in my house since I was 8. In college, I walked and let out a neighborhood dog M-F. We are a newly married couple who loves dogs and loves the outdoors, and just recently got our own golden retriever! My husband and I are both home throughout the week as he is still in college and is not taking many credits. When he is working, I am home from my day of teaching (middle school teacher!) I love taking dogs for walks/runs, playing with them at home, and giving lots of pets and attention! We will follow a desired schedule and enjoy time hanging out with dogs.

About: I grew up with lots of animals. I’ve volunteered at local shelters. I feel very comfortable with feeding, bathing, grooming, walking, administering medicine, etc. Always willing to learn more and adjust to you & your pets needs! I’m currently working part time as a waitress. My schedule is quite flexible. I primarily will be looking at working for Rover on weekends day/night and Monday nights! I don’t offer service in my home as I already have two dogs. However I will treat clients home with the utmost respect and am very clean!

About: I grew up with animals my whole life. At my parents, I grew up with a dog and 2 cats. I personally have a corgi Aussie that is 2 years old. I am very active and outgoing. I love playing and going on walks. I am free at any time after 1 during the week. The weekends can be a bit more random do to me due to me going to the lake. I feed my dog in the morning and the evening. My dog has a long leash for the outdoors at my house. He is always on a leash when he goes for walks and in public.

About: I have always had an animal in my life that I have helped take care of. I have trained my families dogs and my own! I would love to assist you with basic command training, walking, and drop in visits! I am currently working part time M-Th 9-2pm. I'm looking to fill in with Rover during my days off/after work. I have my own dog so I'm used to fitting pet care into my daily life! I live in an apartment but make sure to walk my dog at LEAST once a day and provide high quality food, toys, and snacks.

About: I have lived with animals almost my entire life. These animals consisted of several dogs and cats, a rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, hamster, hedgehog, bearded dragon, some fish, a miniature horse, goats, hens and roosters, peafowl, ducks, turkeys, and geese. Oh my! Since August of 2022, I have been house and pet-sitting full-time in nine different states across the US, looking after over 60 homes with a combined total of upwards of 30+ cats and 30+ dogs. Many of these homes also had houseplants and gardens that needed looking after, and I have experience with growing plants from studying horticulture in college (not a single plant has died under my care yet, fingers crossed). I am newer to the Rover platform but can demonstrate my experience to homeowners in interviews and meet-and-greets with pets. During my time pet and house-sitting around the US, I was often told by homeowners that I take excellent photos of their pets (see profile pics). I take pride in the level of care I provide to pets, including the cute photos I take of them. I can hardly take credit, though, as all of the pets I look after happen to be incredibly photogenic. ;) Although I’m no longer traveling full-time, I still like to keep my schedule relatively free to take on pet care because I love what I do. When I’m at a sit, pet care takes full priority of my time and energy and my entire routine revolves around making sure your pets get the care they need. I intentionally choose work that is flexible so that I can prioritize time with your pets. I have always been able to accommodate pets that cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. More often than not, I am present at the home during the entirety of the sit because the opportunity to watch over your pets is a welcomed and rewarding break from the constant movement and change that comes with the travel lifestyle I once had. More on my scheduling preferences and availability: - I am comfortable with longer stays (my longest sit so far has been longer than a month). - I love pet-sitting in rural areas and enjoy driving out from the city. My one condition is that the road to your home should be accessible by most cars and not require high clearance or four wheel drive. I don’t currently offer services in my home (yet). When I care for pets in their own home, I try to replicate their routine as closely as possible to what they are used to at home when their owners are present. I wake up at the same time homeowners do, feed pets at their usual time, and take them on walks when they would typically go out at home. That being said, because this is what I do for a living, I have so much more extra time to spend with pets. I’m often able to give pets more loving attention and care than they typically receive in a household where homeowners leave for work during the day. I’m extremely conscious of any potential hazards to pets that may be around the home and keep a clean environment. Homeowners always report their home being cleaner after they return than when they left it. Safety is a top priority of mine. Since I began house-sitting as a service to others, I have experienced situations where pet health was thrown into jeopardy and I was tested on my ability to respond calmly and effectively. During my first-ever house-sit for a client, I navigated a wildfire evacuation and prepared the property according to the homeowners’ instructions (no animals were harmed and no damage to the property). In an another house-sit on a rural farm, I encountered a possum attempting to steal one of the chickens from the coop and successfully secured the safety of the farm animals and caught and relocated the possum (no animals were injured). I understand that unexpected scenarios pop up and I’m proud to house-sit for pet owners knowing that they can rely on me and feel safe leaving their pets in my care. I usually send photo and message updates every other day for homeowners to see how their pets are doing, but I have adjusted this to more or less frequently depending on homeowner preference. Once during a sit, in addition to regular photo and text updates, I also accommodated frequent video calls for an owner to allow her to talk to her chihuahua while she was overseas. They both seemed to appreciate that very much. :)
