Great communication and flexibility, beautiful home, and well cared for pets of their own made me feel at ease with leaving Maeve for a week (the longest ever!). Highly recommend their services!

I cannot say enough good things about Jess. From our first meeting, I immediately felt comfortable leaving my baby with her. Her family is so warm and welcoming, and I love that she only takes one family at a time. I received pictures every night about my baby’s day. He was so happy and cared for that. I thought he might not want to come home with me. You will not be disappointed when you use Jess.

SHANNON IS AWESOME! I just moved to Michigan so I didn’t know who I could trust to watch my dog. Shannon sent me frequent updates and reassured me that Naya was having a perfectly good time with her! Naya was sad to leave! Will absolutely continue to book Shannon!:)

About: Charlie sounds like an absolute legend 🐶 He is a 70-pound goldendoodle who is basically the perfect combo of big, goofy, and lovable. Charlie has that shaggy, teddy-bear look that makes people smile before he even does anything. At that size, he’s big enough to think he’s a guard dog… but let’s be honest—he’s more likely guarding snacks and personal space on the couch. Charlie’s the kind of dog who: • Leans his full 70 pounds into you like he’s “just saying hi” • Acts shocked every single time he sees his reflection • Knows exactly when food is involved, even if it’s three rooms away • Somehow takes up the entire couch while still insisting he’s a lap dog Charlie usually has that perfect mix of friendly, smart, and slightly dramatic. He’s great with kids, loves attention from literally everyone, and has mastered the art of looking deeply offended when it’s time for a bath or grooming. Charlie is not just a dog—he’s a full-time family member, part-time comedian, and professional heart-stealer. • I treat every dog like my own. Your dog isn’t just a booking on my calendar—they get genuine care, attention, and affection. • Clear, consistent communication. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you always know how your dog is doing. • Reliability you can trust. I show up on time, follow instructions closely, and keep routines consistent. • Patient and attentive. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. • Safe, calm environment. Your dog will be cared for in a clean, secure, and stress-free space. • Experience with different personalities. From energetic pups to laid-back seniors, I adjust my care to fit the dog. Teaching gives me a consistent schedule, which allows me to provide reliable, well-timed care for pets. With flexibility in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school breaks, I’m able to give pets focused attention and stick closely to their routines. I provide attentive, routine-based care tailored to each pet’s needs. I take time to learn their feeding schedule, walking routine, energy level, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure. In my home: Pets are welcomed into a calm, clean, and safe environment. I maintain their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and rest. Dogs receive plenty of exercise, attention, and affection throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. I supervise interactions closely and make sure pets always feel safe and relaxed. In a client’s home: I respect your space and follow your pet’s established routine exactly. I provide walks, feeding, playtime, medication (if needed), and bathroom breaks as instructed. I also make sure your home is left tidy and secure. Regular updates, photos, and notes are sent so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is always the same—keep pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free while giving owners complete peace of mind.

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during our family vacation. Jolynn notified me when Nugget’s food went bad, and she went to buy more. She could have easily given him food that her own dogs eat, but asked what food does Nugget typically eat. She could have fed him the molded food without our knowledge, but stated that she did not want him to get sick. Jolynn is highly recommended for your fur babies!

Haley hosted our 10yo golden retriever in her home for 5 days. They have an excellent fenced in backyard and two kiddos to keep pups busy! Haley also did home visits for our cat, who needs insulin shots with his food. She came over once before our vacation to see how to care for our cat and we returned to a healthy and happy feline! The daily photos we got were such a reassurance that our pets were in great hands. We definitely will use Haley again for our future trips. Easy to communicate and coordinate with!

I could not have asked for a better care for my fur kids Kodak and Luna. Andrew and Morgan were great. They sent lots of pictures showing how well Kodak and Luna were getting along. I was afraid the fur kids may not want to come home with me. I hope they will be available next time I need to board the fur kids.

My dog sitter had to cancel at the last minute which is how I found Kellie's page. She allowed me to do a meet and greet to make sure my dog got along with her dogs, and it went great. I got daily pictures and videos of my dog, Koda, playing and having the best time. (I was gone for 8 nights) Kellie and Paige took great care of Koda, and I was at ease knowing they had experience with nervous dogs before. I highly recommend Kellie!

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and have been taken care of dogs for 2. I have a husky at home and a yorkie. Also have a cat and bearded dragon! I’m currently a graduate student working from home. That means I have a lot of flexibility and time to fill! Taking care of your pet will mean the world to me! I have a fenced yard so they have plenty of space to run around. I have a husky that is about 6 years old, a 2 year old Yorkie, and a 3 year old cat that roam around the house. Although it will be very easy to keep them separate if needed!h

About: I absolutely adore spending time with dogs and giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve while their families are away. Whether it’s energetic daily walks, playful park adventures, or calm drop-ins with plenty of belly rubs and treats, I make sure every pup feels happy, safe, and loved. With my flexible schedule as an Audiologist Assistant and Pilates instructor-in-training, I’m often available for morning, midday, or evening walks and can accommodate last-minute needs. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels (including seniors and high-energy pups), and I’m comfortable with basic medications, special diets, or following any custom routines your dog needs. Pet parents can count on me for frequent photo and text updates so you never miss a moment. Safety is my top priority — I always use secure leashes, check for hazards, and follow your instructions to the letter. I’m a mom to a sweet little girl and believe in treating every pet like part of the family. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, enthusiastic dog walker who will give your furry friend the best care possible, I’d love to meet you and your pup!

If you are looking for someone to watch your dogs, do not look any further. Tristan is AMAZING! The best I’ve ever found to take care of my pups. I was nervous finding someone new because I have an anxious pitbull and a mini dachshund, he is great with all dogs. He treats your pets as if they were his own. He took my dog for lots of long walks, played with them and even went to pick up food for me when they ran out. He’s so great that I want to gatekeep my review so my pups will always have a spot on his schedule! Thank you Tristan for all that you do!

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

98% of Grand Blanc sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Grand Blanc landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Grand Blanc home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Grand Blanc.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Grand Blanc sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
