About: I have volunteered at a few animal shelters, including Pet's Alive in Middletown, NY. When I volunteered there, dogs were divided into green, yellow, and red. Green meaning that the dog was friendly and easier to handle, red meaning that only certain people could handle them, and yellow was a midway point. Throughout my time there, I was able to work my way up to yellow, which meant that I could work with the dogs that weren't always easy to handle. In my home life, I had a Treeing Walker Coonhound named Annie! We grew up together, and it often felt like she was my second sister. At a very young age, I had to learn how to safely walk a very strong, passionate, excited, and fast hound. Towards the last two years of her life, I made it my priority to make sure Annie was as comfortable as possible. This meant taking her outside often because of her incontinence, as well as helping her up the stairs if she needed help. Since then, I have looked after the dogs of many friends and family, and I'm excited to meet yours! I work from home, and I make my own schedule, so I'm very flexible! The only times I would most likely not be able to care for your pets in over night stays would be the day before a holiday and the holiday (example: Christmas Eve and Christmas.) For those who need a caretaker during odd hours that other caretakers may not be able to fill, my flexible schedule could definitely work! Above all else, I want you and your pets to feel comfortable, safe, and happy with me, so how I care for them depends on their personalities, what you can tell me about them, and what they need to be their healthiest self. I'm very patient and I love how unique all creatures on this earth are - I will have an absolute blast getting to know your furry pals! As much as I'd love to board, I have two cats who grew up with a dog when they were kittens, but it's been almost 7 years, and unfortunately, they have long since forgotten that dogs exist. To prevent confusing my cats, my care will primarily be at your house and property! I have always seen taking care of animals as a huge responsibility, and I genuinely do not take animal care lightly. I also take being in your home and property very seriously, because our homes should be a safe place for ourselves, our families, and our pets.

About: I've taken care of animals all my life, mainly dogs. I've worked in a doggy-daycare and have had many of my own clients. I have a dog and cat. Animals are my sanctuary, they are the purest form of love and joy. I have a part-time job at the moment so I am free most of my days. I am especially keen for overnights and would love to do drop-ins 2-3 times a day. I care for animals with all of my love and attention! My dog and cat have helped heal lots in me so your animals will be my animals while I am caring for them. They are in the best of hands and will get spoiled with lots of adventures and cuddles!

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I work part time on my own schedule so my availability is flexible & I can work with you & your needs! I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... I will not be providing care in my home but I clean Rental homes for a living & will keep the same aspects in mind while being in your home/s, I will always be respectful of your space & your animals while providing the best care possible & will always leave your home the same as I found it. About: I've worked with horses my whole life, and I've had dogs growing up animals are a big part of my life, they replace my stress with love and fulfill my happiness i can relate to a dog better then i can with a human, animals will always be apart of my life no matter what i am doing, being with dogs is a way for me to be myself my availability is pretty flexible if i can help people that are in need of a dog walker then i am willing to abolish with the request. the AM hours are better for me seeings that i have horses to take care of and then teaching children how to ride later on in the day :) I currently run my own equine facility and I have my own dog and cats that I care for. I love that I can make a difference in the world when it comes to the equine community and I want to do the same for pet owners with dogs and cats. I have a invisible fence in my back yard for my dog , I would listen to what ever the client would need me to do for their pet.

About: I’ve been a pet owner for 11 years. I work as an ACA and a vet assistant. I am trained to read an animals body language and look for signs of distress. I am a very patient, caring, compassionate and empathetic individual. I genuinely enjoy meeting and caring for all types of animals, and I look forward to caring for yours! (: I do work full time, but otherwise I have open availability. I am willing to work around my schedule to help meet your needs (: I feed them, clean up after them, give them medication if needed, bathe them, walk them as often as needed. If your animal is on a schedule of any kind, it will be cared for accordingly.

About: I have been raised with both cats and dogs throughout my life. I am currently a licensed veterinary technician and waiting to start veterinary school. I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs/cats. I have experience with both senior dogs/cats as well as puppies and kittens. Administering medication and participating in daily training is also not a problem. I’m currently unemployed while preparing for veterinary school so I have plenty of time to watch your furry family member. I am able to do weekends, early mornings and even late nights. I am unable to bring pets into my home since I have three cats and one dog. I will follow your daily schedule and routine in order to keep your furry family member happy and comfortable. The more instructions and requests the better so I know what needs to be done for your pet

About: I have always felt a special kinship with animals. As a child people would laugh at how they seemed to gravitate towards me wherever I was. To date I have been the proud mom of one pug and six cats, as well as several reptiles, fish and guinea pigs, and every one has been an honor and a joy. About: I have helped my family numberous times with dog sitting and have 2 cats. I have also stayed with my family's dogs for a week and also house sat. Have also dog sat for some friends as well. I am working some part time jobs on my own time so I can schedule in dog walks, cat sits and dog sits pretty much any time I want. I clean my cats' litter box twice a day daily. My cats love to cuddle and sleep with me when I am home. I give my family's dogs walks and care as needed.
