About: What sets me apart is my hands on experience with animals of all sizes and temperaments, my flexible college schedule, and the genuine love I have for pets. I’ve grown up with dogs, currently have a cat of my own, and have cared for both high energy and senior pets. I always treat each animal like they’re my own keeping their routines, comfort, and safety my top priority. I’m dependable, communicative, and make sure every pet feels loved while you’re away. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of free time to care for and play with your pups! Pet care easily fits into my routine, and I love making time for walks, cuddles, and keeping your pets happy while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, I stick closely to their usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I make sure they’re fed, walked, played with, and given plenty of attention. I always respect your space, keep things tidy, and provide updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to make the time you’re away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds, from Great Danes and Mastiffs, to chihuahuas and Teacup poodles. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a nervous rescue, or a senior with special care requirements, I know how to meet them where they are—with patience, gentleness, and respect. I’m confident handling medications, monitoring health changes, and responding calmly to emergencies. And yes, I’m fluent in belly rubs, leash manners, and the art of a good treat toss. My training as a veterinary technician adds another layer of confidence and skill. I’m experienced in administering medications, monitoring subtle health changes, and responding calmly to emergencies. Whether your dog needs special care or just a gentle presence while you're away, I offer both professional know-how and genuine affection. Im currently working part time from home, so I will have PLENTY of time to check in on your babies. I’m attuned to their moods, their health, and their quirks—whether it’s a sudden burst of zoomies or a subtle shift in appetite. Throughout the week, I build in time for deep-cleaning, play therapy, and medication routines when needed. I approach each task with intention and honor, recognizing how much trust goes into watching your home and pets. Clean water bowls, fresh bedding, and a tidy environment aren’t just details—they’re part of how I show love. I take pride in creating a space where dogs feel safe, soothed, and seen.

About: I grew up on a hobby farm in Wisconsin and worked with many animals including cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, but my favorites were always the dogs. Growing up I can’t remember a time in which I haven’t been taking care of an animal wether it was walking them, feeding them, bathing them, or just giving them the love and attention they deserve. During the week I work from home. I’d be able to toilet your fur baby every 2-4 hours. We do have a yard with a fenced in portion they can play at.Your pup wouldn’t have to be alone as I have an 1 year old German Shepard for them to play with. We are very active including walks in the morning before work and after work. We are outside as much as we can be. I care for pets by waking up early in the morning for walks, make sure their tummies are full before I start work in the day. During the day since I work remote I’m able to cater to their needs and lifestyle. Every night we would end up going on walks in the neighbor hood or playing in our backyard.I know it’s hard to be away from your pets especially during vacation time. I would send picture updates of your fur babies during their stay.

About: I am a nursing student commuting to Cleveland State University. Not only am I passionate about providing care for people, I am just as passionate about providing quality care for animals. I have two rescues dogs, both border collies, as well as two cats. Because of this I’m used to the high energy personalities that many breeds have. I have the patience and fortitude to handle any situations your fur baby presents. My school schedule allows for much flexibility to provide drop in visits for feeding, playing, and dog walking. I have many additional references available upon request! I look forward to meeting and bonding with your fur baby! I also have a lot of experience with administering insulin injections in both cats and dogs. I have a lot of flexibility schedule wise. I am in between transferring colleges, so I won’t start school back up until January of 2024. I provide a very safe and caring environment for all pets. Whether it be just a drop in, or an overnight stay, safety is always my priority.

About: I've taken care of cats, dogs and ferrets for many years! I always put my pets first before anything else. I mostly enjoy spending time outdoor and being active with dogs, making sure they get plenty of exercise. When I'm with my cats my favorite thing to do with them is have them chase the red laser! My ferrets enjoy running through tubes and playing in their own ball pit. I am currently looking for a full-time job, but for the meantime my schedule is completely free! When I do get a job I will still focus on taking care of your furry babies. Although I am unable to keep your pets at my place, I am more than happy to come to your house at pet sit! I will feed them when needed, make sure to give them all kinds of love and attention the whole time I'm there, prescribe medicine when needed (Although, the only type of medication I have prescribed to my furbabies has been flea medicine, so if your pet needs different medication please teach me!).

About: You can call me Lilly!! I can provide calm, patient, and specialized care for pets who need more than the basics. when it comes to anxious and sensitive pets, i focus on using a slow, trust-building approach so they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I have an anxious cat myself, so I understand how important it is to move at their pace and build real trust. I also have hands-on experience caring for senior dogs with complex needs, including blindness, deafness, and diabetes, so you can trust that details won’t be overlooked. That said, I absolutely love outgoing, playful pets too. Whether your dog wants long walks and playtime or your cat just wants attention and snuggles, I’m happy to match their energy and make sure they have a great time. Ideal for pets who need extra patience or just a reliable, attentive sitter while you’re away. I have availability through out the week and weekends. I keep my calendar updated and always communicate clearly about availability. Once a booking is confirmed, you can count on me to be reliable and on time. I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I follow their routine closely for feeding, walks, and playtime, and make sure they get plenty of attention and care. I’m especially patient with anxious pets and take a calm, gentle approach. I also respect your home, keep things clean, and can provide regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Having years of experience caring for family pets of all shapes and sizes, I can provide your pets with the one on one time they deserve while you're away. I have provided care for a wide range of dogs, from weeks old puppies, to senior dogs getting ready to cross the rainbow bridge. My love for dogs has encouraged me to pursue a career doing what I love, playing with dogs and making their overall wellbeing my priority. I take your dogs day to day routine into account when doing any sort of activities; from how long they typically like to go for walks, to the level of interaction they like during play time. I consider every dog a friend I haven't made yet, and I love sharing that sort of relationship with every dog I meet. Being a pet parent myself, the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning and the last thing I do before bed is pet care. I understand that every animal is unique and requires personalized care. I always make sure to respect the pets personal space and I always go at the pace set by the pet. Their comfort and happiness is my top priority.

About: My approach to pet care is rooted in patience, genuine love, and treating every dog as a valued member of the family. With a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and puppies, I deeply understand that pets require more than just basic needs. They thrive on love, reliable structure, and a comfortable place to stay while you are away. My goal is simple: to give pet parents complete peace of mind during vacations or work trips, knowing their animal is in safe and genuinely loving hands. I am excited to shower your beloved companion with care and make a new connection. I am a stay at home mom so I would be able to adjust to almost any schedule. I would be able to give one on one care to your special pup! I would love your dog to be able to make a comfortable living space. We have a small fenced in yard to play and potty breaks, but I am very comfortable with leash walking for bathroom breaks and exercise. We are able to use a crate if needed for night time, I also don’t mind a dog sleeping on our couch for added comfort if that’s what the dog is comfortable with. I truly want it to be a specialized and adjustable experience to whatever the fur baby needs.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals, grew up on a farm, and currently live on one. I currently work with horses. I quit nursing to do something I love and work with animals. If I cannot give your animal the care I would expect mine to get for some reason, I won't take the job. I currently work with horses every day. I live on a farm where we have goats 🐐, horses 🐎, chickens 🐔, a pig 🐖, cats 🐈, dogs 🐕, a rabbit 🐇, and a guinea pig so I'm no stranger to animals. I care for my clients pets as if they are my own. If my scheduling conflicts with their care, I will simply turn the job down because it's just not fair to them. I'm not really about leaving them locked up. I enjoy playing with them, walking them, and getting to know their personalities.

About: My wife and I did pet sitting in Virginia for a little over 3 years before moving to Tennessee. Our pet parents loved us and recommended us highly. We have never met a dog or cat that didn't like us and some even called my wife the dog whisperer because she has a very calming demeanor. We have taken care of dogs from toy poodles to boxers (3 boxers at one time for the weekend). We love to play and snuggle and we will treat them like they are our own. I work nights but my wife is a stay at home grandmother and between us we have plenty of time to give your dog(s) or cat(s) the special time they need and we would love the chance to get to know yours. I am home full time so I have plenty of time to love on your pet(s) except when I have to go to other clients homes to love on theirs. I have a fenced in yard and take them out regularly and I go out with them to make sure they are safe and secure.

About: What sets me apart is that I truly treat every dog like family. I have three sweet, well-loved pups of my own—a playful 1-year-old shepherd husky, a gentle 5-year-old black lab— & the sweetest 1 year old Corgi, so I understand different energy levels, personalities, and care needs. I’ve raised 2 of them since they were puppies, which gave me hands-on experience with puppy training, routines, and positive reinforcement, as well as providing calm, patient care for more mature dogs. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness always come first, whether that means structured playtime, relaxing cuddle time, or keeping routines consistent to reduce stress. I’m attentive, dependable, and genuinely love building trust with both pets and their owners so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I am currently a full time stay home dog mama. My entire days revolve around my fur babies since my schedule is completely open. I’ve loved dogs my whole life and I’ve recently moved to the area from Colorado and went from an apartment to a house with a big yard so most of my days are spent outside with the fur babies. I do have a very large fully fenced in backyard and my dogs pretty much come in & out as they please. They have a large water bowl outside that is always filled and I spend time working with them and giving treats throughout the day as well.

About: Hi, I'm a dedicated dog lover and active-duty military member with a passion for keeping pups happy, healthy, and well-exercised. Whether it's a refreshing run, an adventurous hike, or a tailored workout session, I treat every dog like my own. I specialize in providing personalized exercise based on each dog's breed, age, energy level, and specific needs. From high-energy working breeds that need to run hard to senior dogs that require gentle, low-impact activity, I'll always customize the walk , run,and hike to what’s best for your furry friend. With reliability, and a true love for the outdoors, you can trust that your dog will get safe, attentive care and plenty of quality exercise while you're away. I’m fully committed to their happiness and well-being on every outing. I mainly offer dog walking and exercise services on weekends, as that's when I have the most availability. During the week I can sometimes do shorter midday walks if needed, but my focus is on providing quality weekend sessions .whether that's a solid run, a refreshing hike, or a tailored exercise session based on your dog’s breed, age, and energy level. I primarily offer dog walking and outdoor exercise services, so most of my care takes place at the client’s home or in nearby parks and trails. Here’s how I handle it: I come to your home to pick up your dog for the scheduled walk, run, or hike. All care and exercise happens outdoors with close, one-on-one supervision. I never leave dogs unattended and always use proper equipment (harness/leash) suited to each dog. I provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they’re safe and comfortable at all times. After the session, I return your dog home and can send you updates and photos.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 330 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Gracey. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Gracey. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Gracey.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Gracey. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
