“Carlos went above and beyond for my dog Jack Jack. He was very flexible on drop off pick up times, and always responsive. My dog hurt his foot at home and Carlos was able to adjust his care accordingly, and even helped by rebandaging his foot at the end of each day so jack jack wouldn't lick it. Couldn't be happier with the service, and would highly reccomended him to anyone.”

“Highly recommend! Michael, his wife, and their pup Kirby are warm and welcoming. Little Bear struggles with separation anxiety and fortunately, he adjusted quickly to their home. Likely because of the good vibes, chill environment, sweet pet parents and a level of understanding and flexibility that is much appreciated. Huge yard and conveniently located. Great sitter!!”

“Katharine was a last minute lifesaver on our vacation! We had plans to go horseback riding & leave our boy at the hotel but the night before, he was barking & whining when we’d leave him just to go to the lobby. First time Rover users, we found Katharine & instantly heard back from her. Any helicopter mom anxiety I had dissipated the moment Katharine came out to meet us at the car. Katharine has an amazing, warm energy that let me know our son & his anxiety would be well taken care of & managed. I didn’t feel like I had to worry about him the whole time we were gone - what an unexpected relief! Thank you so much for being there at a moment’s notice. You & the feeling of security you left us with ended up being the best part of our trip! Highly recommend!”

“Enzo loved hanging out with Nicole and Rex! Nicole was so kind to open her very dog-friendly home to him and she was super sweet and patient while he got comfortable. He warmed up to her right away and clearly felt safe there. It was his first time staying with anyone other than us and Nicole made it so easy and stress free. Enzo was super happy when we picked him up and it was obvious that he had a great time. Thanks so much, Nicole, for making this an excellent first experience! We’ll definitely be back for another playdate soon!”

“Thank you so much for looking after Milo. You have gone above and beyond to help us when we really needed someone to care for Milo and we are so grateful. He is always so happy and excited when we pull up to your house and he is always very tired when he comes home. Thank you!”

About: My name is Emily and I am a huge dog lover! I own an 4 year old cavapoo named oliver and he loves to run, go on hikes, go to the park, or go on long walks! Providing consistent and detailed updates on a daily basis is very important to me (it's what I would want if I left my dog with someone else). Being time efficient and organized is also a strength of mine that I often utilize when planning boardings, walks, or sittings. I am and always have been very passionate and loving towards dogs. I owned my first dog at the age of 2 and have been training/raising dogs ever since then! Rover gives me the opportunity to care for dogs and consistently stay active simultaneously! I am currently on parental leave so I make sure to go in a least one or two adventures a day with my baby and fur baby! I’m at home all day and have tons of flexibility and time to spend with your doggo :) I live right in the heart of San Carlos in a cute little apartment. Oliver loves to spend his days people watching and sun bathing on our balcony or roaming around the space. When we’re not home, we live close to hikes and parks, as well as lots of prime walking real estate AND a dog park!

“Sally was extremely accommodating and was very flexible when we were a bit late. She sent lots of pics and really did everything to make our puppy feel at home. We will definitely ask Sally to watch Kenzie again.”

“Cuauhtemoc provided an excellent daycare service for my high-needs dog, Frodo. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating, taking the time to ensure Frodo felt comfortable. His dog, Luma, is very sweet and made a great companion for Frodo. Frodo was well cared for, and it’s clear Cuauhtemoc genuinely loves dogs. I’d be happy to bring Frodo back on a regular basis!”

“I feel so lucky to have found Ash. My dog is fearful reactive and Ash has been willing to take her on, slowly building a relationship with my dog with repeated short visits with the goal of boarding. It’s a slow process, but Ash has been so patient and supportive.”

“Benedict took Hobbes for doggy daycare during the heat wave. Benedict was a great communicator and responded quickly to messages. He made sure Hobbes got extra sniffs, pees, and wiggles out before it became too warm to be safe. Hobbes came home tired and happy. Thank you, Benedict!”

“Winnie loved her stay with Karla! Karla is super attentive and so flexible; she was to accommodate my very last minute booking. She kept me updated and sent me pictures throughout the day. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Winnie looks forward to hanging out with her again soon ☺️🐾”

“Janet, Shasta and their family were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the meet and greet, and Juno made himself right at home. She sent us plenty of pictures and videos throughout the day to keep us informed, and we could tell Juno was having a blast just from the photos. They have an amazing yard and a beautiful house, and we felt very secure knowing Juno was in good hands. Would highly recommend and we would also live for Janet to look after Juno again. Thank you!”

“Claire and Bonjuk were wonderful hosts!! Rocket had the time of his life. They did long walks and playtime and snuggles too. She sent many photos and videos and updates. She was so kind. We would love to leave Rocket again with her in the future. We would highly recommend her to others.”

About: I’ve loved animals all my life and have over 14 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I lived with my beloved Yorkshire Terrier for 14 years, spent 2 years with dogs and cats in shared homes, and now live with Panda — my sweet, gentle dog who gets along well with others. I’ve also volunteered at a cat shelter for over a year and helped with animal transport for rescue groups. These experiences have taught me to understand and care for animals with a wide range of needs and personalities. I currently stay home full-time with my baby, so your pet will never be left alone. Our home is peaceful, clean, and filled with love. I provide attentive, calm, and affectionate care, always treating every pet as if they were part of our family. I’m currently a full-time stay-at-home caregiver, so your pet will have company throughout the day. My daily routine includes regular playtime, feeding, and plenty of rest breaks to keep pets happy and comfortable. Our home has a backyard where your pet can go outside for bathroom breaks anytime. Since I have a baby at home, I’m used to maintaining a calm and quiet environment, ensuring your pet feels safe and stress-free. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate special schedules or needs. I provide a clean, safe, and loving home environment for every pet I care for. My house is pet-proofed, with no harmful items within reach, and a securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and go outside for bathroom breaks anytime. I supervise all playtime and interactions closely to ensure safety and comfort. I treat every pet like family, respecting their individual personality and needs, creating a calm and stress-free environment. With my baby and friendly dog Panda at home, your pet will always have company and love during their stay.

About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! Time availabilities: I am available for daycare drop offs 7-9am and daycare pick ups 6-9pm I am available for boarding drop offs starting at 9am and pick ups ending by 9pm. Child free home with two adults who WFH. I am available for drop offs and can be flexible M-F; weekends I like to take our guests on hikes to Pulgas Ridge or Stafford Park. Please be up to date on flea/tick meds! * I am not able to take human aggressive pets * Dogs are taken on two walks a day, offered as many potty breaks needed, access to water and toys 24/7, and play times with friends! For the safety of all our guests, dogs are separated during meal times and overnight using crates.

About: It's my pleasure to look after your furry family member. I'm an outdoorsy person and taking your pup for walks is my main thing. If your pet just likes hanging around the house, I'm good with that, too! I give individualized care because each furry family member has different needs. I will listen to your needs and make plans accordingly and will also make suggestions if needed. With healthy doses of excellent care, you and your pets needs are my concern. Clear instructions and communication is important for ensuring a happy pet.

Alexa D.
“Alexa has been watching my dog for over 5 years now. My anxious Aussie is always so relaxed and happy to see her! My dog takes medication and is on a strict feeding schedule but Alexa never fails to follow all instructions. I recommend her to all my friends!”

Carrie P.
“If I were a pet I would want Carrie to take care of me. Even before she asked for a testimonial, I had asked her if she would pet sit for me. I’ve known her for over a decade. She was hired by the group I worked for at Stanford. Most people I have worked with over the decades don’t become dear friends, but she did. We always put the work relationship first. She honors her commitments. She is highly empathetic and responsible. You can trust her with your loved one.”

Ashley R.
“Ashley was a great dog sitter. She was available with very short notice and was willing to stay up late to accommodate our schedule. Thanks Ashley!”
