“Karla took great care of my 11 year old dog. Very communicative, kept me updated throughout the stay. I’ll definitely reach out to Karla the next time we need to board Boris!”

“Mario was great. He kept me updated on my dogs while I was away and sent several pictures of them having fun at the beach and relaxing at his home. It made me feel better to know they were in good hands. Would definitely use Mario again when I go out of town.”

About: Dogs have been a big part of our lives. We adopted Bruno, our beloved Labrador Retriever, with whom we spent 11 years until he fought bravely with cancer but could not win. Bruno socialized me to his friends like Mastiffs, German Shepherds, Corgis, Golden Retrievers and many more and helped me understand that each dog, irrespective of his breed, has a unique personality and temperament. Thus, please do tell us about your dogs unique traits and his phobias so that we can make him feel at home. This is important for us to know as dogs undergo huge stress to be away from their home. After Bruno passed away, we adopted Rex, Labrador Retriever, who has helped us heal and made us realize how important dogs are in our lives! Both, me and my wife WFH and have flexible working schedule. So one of us will be at home to take care of the pack. We have Rex, a Labrador Retreiver, who goes on walks 2x times a day for 2-3 miles everyday. If the dog is staying with us, based on his needs, he can join us on our walks. Plus, we have a fully fenced backyard for dogs to play and run freely. Often, we take break from our work and play with our dog in the backyard or go for a small 5-10 min walk outside our home. For everyone’s safety, the dog should get along with kids and other dogs. Please let us know if there are any health issues and/or food allergies. My wife and I have experience caring for senior dogs, and both of us are comfortable administering medications as needed.
“Our dog was happily entertained and cared for with Guillermo and Siobhan. They were able to jump in and wash her off when she had an accident and they had excellent communication with us. Highly recommend!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Jas! He was able to care for our dog Murphy last minute. He was very responsive, sent updates and pictures throughout our whole trip. The pictures of Murphy showed how relaxed and happy he was! Pretty sure Murph came back smelling better 😆 We will definitely be using Jas again.”

“Grace is beyond amazing! She is extremely communicative, consistently giving us updates and pictures of Valentina. Very loving and kind towards our dog gave her really nice attention and daily walks. Great!”

“Martina is a wonderful host! She and her family were super caring for our dog, not only providing excellent care but also taking him out on adventures! She sent us daily updates, was very responsive to messages, and her kids were also very loving with our dog. I would definitely recommend her!”

“This was Yogi’s first time away from home, and Cynthia made sure he was well cared for. She sent us lots of updates (which we requested) and Yogi looked so happy the whole time. We weren’t sure how he’d do since we only adopted him a few months ago, but he seemed to have such a great time! Would book again!”

“Shannon was absolutely wonderful with Dobby. I was able to relax on my vacation knowing my dog was having a vacation of his own with Apollo. She gave frequent updates with plenty of photos and was very communicative during the stay. I couldn’t recommend her enough.”

“Catherine and her husband are so sweet and communicative! We received daily updates on Gale’s behavior and lots of cute pics! They spoiled our dog with two walks a day (I normally only give her one!) and have a fenced in yard for play. I could tell that they really cherished having our dog’s company instead of just dogsitting for the additional income. Their heart is in it for sure!”

“Leeeun took care of our Teddy for 15 days while we were on an extended vacation. She sent numerous photos and correspondence. I did not worry at all while Teddy was in her care. She treated him like a member of her family and I know Teddy enjoyed every minute. Do not hesitate to choose her to take care of your pup!”

“Ivan did a great job dog sitting our two little dogs! He always kept us updated. Drop off and pick up was easily coordinated. Our dogs seemed to have a blast! He sent lots of photos of our dogs having fun, outside, and taking their naps. Will definitely be using his services again!”

“It was Charlie's first experience boarding and Jifu did a great job. Charlie got a long great with Joki and seemed to spend the days playing and having fun. Everything went well and Charlie came home happy and healthy. Thanks!”

“Stacey took amazing care of my two small pups. She gave me regular updates, asked about any special care instructions, and genuinely loves her dogs she takes care of. We will definitely come back to Stacey in the future.”

“My foster dog Baby had a wonderful stay with Tanya and her daughter. Their home is basically doggy heaven, and Baby enjoyed the huge lawn and tons of love and care accordingly. Baby looks forward to her next visit!”

“There are some great dog sitters, and some of them also happen to be genuinely great people. That’s how we feel about Katie and Jason. Not only did they love our dog Archie and care for him like he was their own, they kept this nervous dog mama leaving her pup for the first time informed, reassured, and entertained with the frequent updates, photos and videos sharing all the fun and love Archie was having. We cannot thank Katie and Jason enough for not only being excellent caregivers, but also being exceptional humans. They are DEFINITELY our go-to from now on for any future trips we have to take without our Archie!”

“Ana was amazing! She gave us the best daily updates with pictures and info on the highlights of their day. She had lots of pictures of our dog on walks with her, and it seemed like our dog even got to the point of playing with her cat by the end! Ana was a kind and attentive dog sitter, and we will definitely be using her again!!”

“Just wanted to rave about Julia some more. Charming to communicate with, responsible and loving toward the cats. Would make her my forever Cat Sitter but I moved away. Julia is the best.”
“We had Esmeralda visit and feed our two older cats while we were away, coming once a day. This was our first time with Esmeralda and we are happy with the results. She asked good questions during the meet and greet, and she left our home neat and tidy. I left pretty detailed instructions on feeding and garbage disposal and she followed them well. Our cats are very shy, so she did not have a lot of interaction with them. It looks like one of the cats let Esmeralda get near him towards the end of her visits. The one slight criticism I have is that while she checked off the jobs that she did during each visit she did not write a progress report, such as the cats ate all of their food, or Ray let me pet him.”

“We had a positive experience with Kayleigh when she checked in on our orange menace Winnie for a few days. 🐱 She did exactly what was asked of her, and asked clarifying questions to make sure everything was correct. We returned to him content and healthy. Appreciate her effort and would love to book again. Thank you! 🐾”

“Chelsea sent great pictures of my cat! It felt great to see a variety of pics so I had an idea of how she was interacting with the cat. They looked very cozy together, which was heartwarming.”

“Michele was so wonderful with my cat Sona while I was out of town! She spent so much time with her, checked in frequently with lots of photos and videos, and I came home to a very content and happy cat. Would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been an in-home house/pet sitter for 3 years now with some consistent and happy pet families. I am happy to stay in home, drop in, do walks, and I’m experienced with cats and any sized dog. I have classes 3 days/week in the mornings, and then work everyday for 3-5 hours in the afternoon. I have space in between those commitments. I put the animal’s needs first! I love to do their favorite things with them. Running, playing fetch, cuddling, going to the park, going on walks, etc.

“Chelsea is AMAZING! She is so great with our cats—they love her and always come out to greet her despite being very shy. She also accommodated us over a holiday weekend last minute which we will forever be grateful for. She is very communicative, attentive, and considerate. Could not recommend more!”

“I very much appreciate Ruo’s attentiveness in creating such a comforting environment for my senior pup. Trinity is special needs (being both visually and hearing impaired). She is so calm when I pick her up - all signs of how at ease she is and evidence to the care Ruo provides to ensuring a stressful visit! ♥️”

“Karla was awesome. She was super caring and sweet with our puppy, sent tons of photos, and was very accommodating when we ran behind schedule. Would definitely recommend leaving your pups with her!”

“We have used Renz several different times and he’s always been great! Pepper loves he and his partner and their sweeeeet dog, Whiskey. Renz is very easy to coordinate with, follows all my instructions, troubleshoots intelligently, is skilled in obedience training, and seems to really enjoy learning Pepper’s needs. He has access to a variety of dog parks and trails, including agility structures, so I know Pepper is always going to have fun and be stimulated. Highly recommend!”

“We had such a great experience with Yun! Finley came home happy and well cared for, and Yun kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. Everything was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. I truly felt like Finley was in wonderful hands, and I would absolutely book with Yun again!”

“Chelsea is fabulous. Rei had a wonderful stay. I truly appreciated all of the updates and photos. Highly recommended and I will definitely be reaching back out for a future stay. It was great peace of mind, knowing Rei was in such good hands.”

“Stacey was great to work with! She was a great communicator, made pick up and drop off very easy and checked in with me throughout Bogey’s stay. My pupper seemed super comfortable and at easy with her and her dogs as well. Will definitely be working with her again :)”

“My puppy loves visiting Dalia! When we pull up, she jumps out of the car and runs to the door with excitement. Dalia always makes sure my puppy gets a good walk and a nap in, and she comes home in a great mood.”

“On skittish, shy dog warmed up to Keli very quickly. He gets lots of love and walks with Keli and I love that she keeps me updated on how his day is going. We are so happy we found Keli.”

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. Feel free to request photos/videos and check in anytime for updates.
“Pouneh is wonderful! From the beginning, she responded to my messages right away. We did an initial meet and greet at the local park. Nana immediately took to her and her daughters! I knew Nana would be happy and in good hands. Drop off and pick ups: I need to do an early drop off and it’s been super smooth. It’s easy to park in front and get Nana out safely and since we arranged that I send my ETA, Pouneh was already waiting outside ready to take her. Picking her up was also super easy. I texted ETA and she had everything ready with Nana. Again, parking was easy and available in front. Pouneh is very experienced and patient with dogs. She also has extra supplies like bowls, blankets, towels, leashes, etc., making it easier with less things to lug around. Nana looked so relaxed and happy when I picked her up that first day and each day since. I am happy to recommend Pouneh to anyone for doggie care and I will for sure rebook whenever I need an extra hand. Lastly, props to Rover as well. This is a great service and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve always found great people here with sometimes short notice.”

About: I love dogs and want to help with yours! I've cared for pups on Trusted Housesitters, for friends and have fostered many dogs. I just adopted my foster dog who loves meeting and walking with other pups. We want to help you take care of your furry friend! Part of my earnings will also go to local rescues. If you're interested in fostering, please let me know and I'll connect you with my favorite local rescues! I work from home and need to go on walks and take breaks. So would love to go on walks with your pet or have a furry friend to visit when I'm off duty. For housesitting, I can work from home at your place. Housesitting includes a 30 minute daily walk and potty breaks. If you need a longer walk for your pet, I will modify the pricing. For doggy day care, if you have a non-shedding dog who is potty trained, I'm happy to have a co-working buddy while I work from home if your dog doesn't like being alone. Plus, I'll have a reason to take a break and go outside! For boarding services, I will care for your dog if you can meet my same criteria above for doggy day care.
“Susanne was great with our dogs. This was our first time with doggie day care. Susanne made us all feel reassured and comfortable. She is incredibly attentive and conscientious. We got many messages from her throughout the day. The pups seemed happy and content when we came to get them.”

About: I’m a dog mom to Pepper, my 9-year-old rescue, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry baby with someone else. I’ve cared for friends’ pets for years, and I also have foster experience — I cared for an 18-year-old senior dog for 9 months until he found his forever home:). I’m calm, patient, and attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they need a slow walk, playtime, senior care, cuddles, or quiet company. I’ll treat your pet like my own and send updates so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. We work from home, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. We usually do a morning walk, some playtime in our private driveway around lunchtime, and an evening walk or park time. On very hot days, we avoid walking in the middle of the afternoon and prefer safe playtime in our shaded/private driveway instead. We live in a townhouse with a long private driveway, a nearby dog park, and several dog-friendly parks in the neighborhood. It’s a very dog-friendly area, and many of the neighborhood dogs already know and get along with our rescue dog, Pepper. At home, I focus on a calm, safe environment with supervision, patience, and care based on each dog’s personality and comfort level.

“Kayleigh is great! Responsive to communication, on time and hasn't canceled. My Happy loves her and is excited to see her. I receive pictures right away. I will continue to use Kayleigh.”

“Esmeralda is wonderful with our golden retriever! She is calm, attentive, and engaging, gets in sync with his personality, and lets him enjoy being outside for an adventure, read the daily doggie news or just hang out listening to music. She is a professional when it comes to her canine care so we are confident when we leave our pup with her. Thank you Esmi!! 😁”

“Jas is top notch of a dog walker and has set the standards pretty high. It’ll be challenging to find another dog walker of his caliber. More importantly, Chomsky enjoys the walks with him.”

This ensures that there's no scheduling difficulties and your furry friend is well cared for. I’m always excited to meet new friends so drop me a line if you need some time. Thanks for visiting my profile :) : Im a studio artist and work from home so I have plenty of time to help care for your fuzzy friends, whether its a drop in visit a walk or something else, I’d love to meet you and your pup :) I have a fenced yard a stay near the bay trail so getting outdoors is very easy. I prefer not to take clients dogs to dog parks for safety reasons but walks and attention are certainly part of the experience.
About: I have one dog, who is 7 years old and three cats and they are between the ages of 12-14. By having all these animals, I have a full understanding on how and why it is important to take care of your pets. I recently just graduated college and currently, I am in the process of finding a post graduate job! This job will give me the chance to take a break from staring at the screen, and have fun with many pets! I understand that every animal has their own personality. I will definitely take note on what the pet's likes and dislikes are. In my own home, I have a gated backyard with a friendly dog. I would be happy to keep them away from each other if needed.
About: I’ve been a pet owner/lover my whole life! Happy to do whatever makes your doggie feel comfortable while you are away! I know how much pets mean to their owners and would love to offer some TLC to yours when you can’t be there. I’ve also done housesitting for many people over the years and I’ll take great care of your home as well! I can also do chores around the house while you are away, if desired. I specialize in pets that are higher maintenance or require special care (administer meds, nervous/anxious animals, older animals, etc.) I hope to get to meet your furry friend(s) very soon! I am a friendly, down to earth, clean person that will make your time away worry free!
About: My family has had dogs for most of my life. I have experience from large breeds to small breeds. I currently have two rescues myself (One Pitbull mix and one Chihuahua mix). I am an avid dog walker and always try to pay attention to the pup while walking to ascertain how it does around other people and dogs to try and avoid any potential situations that may occur. It's my own policy with dogs to not leave them unattended for more than a few hours at a time, for example, whenever I was working part time jobs I would always make sure to come home for lunch so I could relieve my dogs and ensure they're given all the proper attention that they deserve. I'm also proficient in reading when dogs are in need of medical attention as my pit mix is quite a special case genetically and requires that kind of hands on care, especially as he gets older in age. My bottom line is that my dogs are family to me and I understand that I am not alone in that thought, so to trust an individual with your family members care is a hard thing to do and I will make sure to attend to your pets needs as if they were my own because thats what I have come to expect from dog sitters myself. Pet care is nonstop. To me, my pets are family and are just as deserving of attention and having their needs met as I am. My pit mix is an incredibly anxious dog and requires a lot of attention when it comes to being taken outside to go to the bathroom, being calmed down when loud noises occur or new people enter my house, and he can have some digestion issues requiring constant attention to his stool and changes to his diet. This can feel like a lot but he's family so I've found ways to incorporate these needs into my daily life with work and other things that happen throughout the day. As I've said in my profile, I try to not be gone for more than a few hours at a time as long periods of absence can be stressful for dogs that depend on our care and attention. I make sure to ensure they always have water in their bowls, I try to take them to the bathroom as much as possible, and I go on one or two walks a day as my schedule allows to ensure they get proper exercise and socialization. My main goal is to ensure the safety of the pet. This means keeping food not appropriate for pets tucked away or pushed back on counters and out of their reach. It means always having an eye on my/your pet whether thats at home or out and about. I also try to maintain a clean space as things on the floor depending on the object can be eaten and thats any pet owners nightmare. It's also important to me that the client feels respected and safe to leave not only their pet but their home in my hands if I'm staying for a majority of the day or even nights. This means I leave no trace of myself and always double check to make sure the home is cleaner than I found it. I also have no issues cleaning up poop from backyards or piddle pads from balconies. I also understand that people think differently on where dogs are supposed to sleep, I personally let my dog sleep with me in the bed so if thats what your dog is looking for I can absolutely comply but if thats not what you prefer I am also able to make sure they stay where they're supposed to be. Lastly, as I've mentioned, hiring a pet sitter can be stressful as you don't know me nor I you so its incredibly important to me that I listen to what you're saying and asking of me in regards to the treatment of your home and your pet so that I can do the best job possible and have you come home to a happy pet and a happier home.

About: My Pet Care Experience Growing up, I had the joy of sharing my life with a variety of pets, each teaching me something unique about responsibility, empathy, and companionship. Over the years, I’ve cared for hamsters, cats, dogs, fish, bunnies, and turtles, and every one of them left a lasting impact on me. As a child, my hamsters taught me patience and attentiveness through their delicate care needs. Feeding them the right diet and cleaning their habitat were my first lessons in responsibility. With dogs and cats, I learned the importance of building trust and providing unconditional love. They showed me how meaningful the bond between humans and animals can be. Bunnies and turtles required different forms of care, from maintaining specific diets to creating environments that matched their natural habitats. These experiences taught me how to adapt and tailor my care to meet the needs of each pet. Even caring for fish required a level of diligence, as maintaining a clean tank and balanced water conditions was essential for their well-being. Now, as an adult, I deeply appreciate how much these experiences shaped my understanding of what it means to care for animals. Pets aren’t just companions; they’re beings that rely on us for their health, happiness, and safety. This realization drives my dedication to providing the best care possible for my current and future pets. Whether it’s ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular vet check-ups, or just spending quality time with them, I believe that having pets is both a privilege and a commitment. Caring for animals has not only made me more responsible but has also brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine, and I always make time to ensure pets are happy and healthy. Currently, as a student on vacation, I have plenty of free time during the holidays to dedicate to their care, including playing with them, grooming, and keeping their spaces clean. During the semester, I usually have classes in the mornings, but my afternoons and evenings are free. This gives me a flexible schedule to provide attention, exercise, and care for the pets. I enjoy creating a balance between my responsibilities and spending quality time with them, as I believe this is key to building a strong bond and keeping them content. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets, whether in my home or my client’s home. I always prioritize building trust with the pet, creating a bond that ensures they feel safe and comfortable with me. The place where I live is fenced and quiet, making it a safe environment for pets. However, I understand that pets often feel more comfortable staying in their own home, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. For this reason, I am more than happy to care for them at their place if that’s preferred. Regardless of the location, I make sure to follow their specific routines, provide plenty of playtime and attention, and ensure their needs are met with love and care.
About: I’ve walked dogs professionally and casually for friends and neighbors, and I’ve also fostered both dogs and cats, so I’m used to helping animals settle into new environments and routines. I also own large pets myself, so I’m very comfortable with bigger breeds, their energy, exercise needs, and handling. Whether it’s a high-energy dog who needs a good walk or a cat who just needs a calm, attentive presence, I know how to keep pets of all kinds happy and well cared for. I work part time, so I have flexible hours to fit pet care into my routine. I'm available most weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule for feeding, playtime, or check ins whenever your cat needs me. I can care for your cat in your home or mine, depending on what works best for you. My space is quiet and calm with no other pets or kids, so your cat can settle in without distractions. In your home, I follow your routines closely and keep things safe and familiar.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of animals—from energetic puppies who need structure and training to senior pets who need gentle care and extra attention. I’m skilled in reading animal body language, administering basic medications, and maintaining calm, comforting environments. My priority is always safety, trust, and keeping pets happy and healthy while their owners are away. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. I plan my schedule around the pets I look after, making sure each one gets the time, attention, and consistency they need. Whether it’s morning walks, midday playtime, or evening feedings, I build my day around their routines. On a weekly basis, I check in with clients to confirm schedules, update them with photos and notes, and make sure each pet’s needs are being met. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every single day. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would my own. I make sure pets stick to their normal routines to minimize stress, keep them active and engaged, and send regular photo and text updates so owners feel connected and confident that their furry family members are in good hands.

“I had an pawsome experience with Ruo during Tyler’s stay. She kept me updated with walks, Tyler’s mood and pictures after initial meet and greet. She shows great care for my son. Really appreciate being flexible last minute and take good good care of Tyler. Would definitely rebook and recommend her!”

“Our dog had a great time with Michael & Evie! We actually think he misses them :) They always updates us and send us photos of Kaido without us asking for it. We are really glad we left Kaido with them. Definitely won't be the last time! Thank you again Michael & Evie for taking such good care of our gentle giant 💜”

“My pup spent a few days with Kelly, and came back happy and healthy. Kelly was very responsive in her communication with me and sent a couple updates during his stay. Good job!”

“Grace is beyond amazing! She is extremely communicative, consistently giving us updates and pictures of Valentina. Very loving and kind towards our dog gave her really nice attention and daily walks. Great!”

“We had a fantastic boarding experience with Yi and Jeff. They provided frequent updates and photos, and thoughtfully addressed my dog's anxiety about being in a new boarding situation. My dog was very happy when I picked her up.”

“Margaret exceeded all expectations! So happy and thankful to have found her. Our girl Juniper is sensitive and can be nervous around new people but she really bonded with Margaret. It was a great experience for her!”

“Rocky came back calm and we can tell he gets treated very well with Zhenting's family. So glad we found her as we love she has an enclosed backyard space and she is very attentive. We love seeing how Rocky is doing throughout his stay with all the photos she sends!”
