“We had Esmeralda visit and feed our two older cats while we were away, coming once a day. This was our first time with Esmeralda and we are happy with the results. She asked good questions during the meet and greet, and she left our home neat and tidy. I left pretty detailed instructions on feeding and garbage disposal and she followed them well. Our cats are very shy, so she did not have a lot of interaction with them. It looks like one of the cats let Esmeralda get near him towards the end of her visits. The one slight criticism I have is that while she checked off the jobs that she did during each visit she did not write a progress report, such as the cats ate all of their food, or Ray let me pet him.”

About: I’ve been an in-home house/pet sitter for 3 years now with some consistent and happy pet families. I am happy to stay in home, drop in, do walks, and I’m experienced with cats and any sized dog. I have classes 3 days/week in the mornings, and then work everyday for 3-5 hours in the afternoon. Taking the insulin injections might be hard for Nono because she’s not a really sociable kitty, but James handled it well. Even a tiny scrape underneath Nono’s thick fur he could find and had let me know right away if any treatments would be needed. And he changed the Robot Catlitter dumps even if I didn’t asked him to do it. On top of that, James is an amazing photographer. 🐱I can tell Nono absolutely adores her Uncle James, and it’s clear they share a special bond. “Pouneh is wonderful! From the beginning, she responded to my messages right away. We did an initial meet and greet at the local park. Nana immediately took to her and her daughters! I knew Nana would be happy and in good hands. Drop off and pick ups: I need to do an early drop off and it’s been super smooth. It’s easy to park in front and get Nana out safely and since we arranged that I send my ETA, Pouneh was already waiting outside ready to take her. Picking her up was also super easy. I texted ETA and she had everything ready with Nana. Again, parking was easy and available in front. Pouneh is very experienced and patient with dogs. She also has extra supplies like bowls, blankets, towels, leashes, etc., making it easier with less things to lug around. Nana looked so relaxed and happy when I picked her up that first day and each day since. I am happy to recommend Pouneh to anyone for doggie care and I will for sure rebook whenever I need an extra hand. Lastly, props to Rover as well. This is a great service and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’ve always found great people here with sometimes short notice.”
