About: For the last 4 years my husband and I have had 4 dogs. He often travels, so I am usually caring for them alone. We have a husky, 2 pit-husky mixes, and a Belgium shepherd. I trained the Belgium shepherd from puppy age, and she’s now the sweetest and best guard dog out there! Our dogs can be stubborn at times, and I’ve even had to break up a couple of dog fights. I am able to handle difficult situations if your dog is a little tougher or not as friendly. I have always loved animals, especially dogs because of their loyalty and cuteness. From small dogs to large- I can care for them however you need and will treat them like they’re my own! I recently quit my job because we moved, so I have all the free time in the world! I can be flexible and stay with your pet to play longer if you need. Since we currently have 4 dogs we are not taking any pets to stay with us. However, we have a barn and hope to be able to house dogs there some day!

About: I have a 4. year old dog, Kane who doesn’t know a stranger. Human or dog alike. I spent a year assisting in the training of K9, schutzhund, and over all protection/ obedience. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sorts and absolutely love them. I spent a lot of time volunteering at the local animal shelters in Kansas City, where I am originally from, so I am good with dogs behaviors and what to do and not to do’s. I can take your dog on a run, or pop in and give him his food and play for a bit. Or even stay over night if your pup is uncomfortable in new surroundings and needs to be in his home space! I’d love to care for your dog! I work hybrid and when I am in the office I don’t have issues stepping out to take walks and when I’m working from home I take several breaks to go on walks or the park. I stay super active and make sure my dog and any dog I care for has lots of enrichment and stimulation! I make sure that I’m always in a safe environment and make the dogs feel comfortable.

About: I put 12 years as my experience with taking care of animals because that is how long I have had my own animals but I have been around animals my whole 32 years of life. My household consists of my husband and two daughters plus our 5 dogs, 2 cat, 5 goats, 1 bearded dragon and several chickens and ducks. My husband and I pride ourselves on making sure our animals are well cared for, trained and loved! Now that both of my kids are in school full time I decided I wanted to find something to do on the side that I love and enjoy and I can’t think of anything better then taking care of animals and helping people in my community. When my kids start school in August I will be a stay at home mom 4 days a week with no kids at home. I will be available 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday to Friday. My weekends are normally pretty open as well as we are home bodies. I am not easily scared or timid of any animal. My husband and I pride ourselves on giving our animals the best care possible. Unfortunately due to the amount of animals we have and my daughters I am not able to offer in home care or able to stay at your home overnight. About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 5 years. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel just as loved and comfortable as my own two dogs. I’m very patient, so if your pet is shy or a bit energetic on the leash, that’s no problem—we’ll take things at their pace! I currently work part-time remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility to help care for your pet! About: Hi! My name is Ali H. I have a 13 year old poodle that my family and I raised and trained. I have watched dogs since I was 10 (I will be 21 in November) and it is one of my favorite things to do! I have watched puppy from the age of 10 weeks all the way up to senior dogs. I have taken care of dog with many health problems. Since I live more in the country my dog and I normally go for walks about twice a week and we play in my yard everyday! Dogs in my house are treated like family. We make sure they are loved and cuddled everyday. And of course they sleep with us at night! We also love taking my dog for cars rides and spending time with other dogs to make sure she is socializing!

About: I grew up helping care for dogs on our family farm since I was a child. We had hunting dogs who I provided for in our barns outside and loving, coach potato dogs inside as well. In college I worked at a pet store where I cared for puppies and dogs of all ages. I learned knowledge of many breeds and how to administer medications. Volunteering at the local dog shelter on weekends kept me busy as well. I recently lost my senior dog to cancer earlier this year and have been missing the companion lifestyle! I work fully remote M-F and can do so from any household. My schedule is flexible where I can stop by on a whim if needed. My weekends are always open for house sitting or animal walking needs! I am well versed in animal care. Ranging from in home/personal yard, neighborhood walks alone, dog parks with others, etc. Your comfort ability level is my preference!

About: I have tons of pet care experience. I used to work in a daycare/ boarding facility. I have also cared for dogs in my home before. I am available every day of the week with flexible hours. I am also a certified pet trainer and your dog may come home with new skills or improved manners just for fun. I will make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise and socializing. I will love your dog as much as you do and will treat them like my own. I am respectful and responsible with any of your personal needs or wants when it comes you and your four legged friends. Please let me care for your pet while you are gone and trust that I will take good care of them. I am home full time with the exception of personal outings and running errands. I will be able to let your pups out for potty breaks, go for walks and have plenty of time to play. I make sure that a leash is always attached before opening a door to take your dog for a walk unless fenced in. We currently don’t have a fence, but will hopefully soon. We have two friendly dogs.

About: I have been around all types of animals all my life. I love them, and I understand the challenge of finding somewhere safe for them to be while you are out of town. I have a 3 bedroom house, with a fenced yard. I have a dog of my own, who is extremely friendly and loves other dogs and is safe around cats. I’m active and can provide walks and playtime. We go to the dog park several times a well and go on walks/runs around town. I am no stranger to high intensity/maintenance breeds as I have an Australian Cattle Dog mix and I can handle a dog that requires lots of attention. Safety is my number one priority and I would not take on any animal if I don’t believe I can adequately care for them. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. My wife works from home. Someone will be present for the majority of your pet’s stay! I have two dogs already. So we are used to feeding, petting, and caring. I am experienced with many different breeds. I also have 3 children who love dogs and provide free play time!

When you provide notice for us, we can ensure our schedule will best meet your needs. We often have a busy but largely flexible schedule. We imagine your companion may even if only initially experience fear and/or grief while apart from you. We will endeavor to comfort your beloved creature who brings such comfort to you. We will do this by seeking to bring the experiences your companion will respond well to, which may include calm, happiness, and attention to physical needs such as food, clean water, and safety. Responsible dog walking also includes availability of transport, outdoor safety, play & exercise, fresh water, and cleanup. If after consultation, documentation, and all feel comfortable, we can even administer prescribed medical care.

About: Growing up my family always had a couple dogs. When I got married and moved out, my wife and I wanted to adopt a puppy from the local shelter. I always admired owners that had a happy and well-behaved dog. So, when we got our dog, I wanted to be that guy. I learned everything I could about dog training. Books, articles, YouTube videos, you name it. I was all in on the dog training. When I learned about Rover, I considered it to be a win-win situation. I get to spend time taking care of and learning about dogs, and the dogs don't have to spend all day lonely. Now we're all happy! My job has a 24/48 schedule. I work for 24 hours and then I get the next 48 off. I will be the primary one taking care of the animals. My wife currently stays home and will be filling in for me when I'm gone. That means 100% of the time your pet loved ones will get the love and care they need. We live in an old farmhouse so there is plenty of room to roam. However, it is not fenced in, so if we go outside to play, they will be kept on a long lead. We have one overly friendly wiggle butt that is fully off leash trained and a cat that stays inside. We also have an empty garage that we can crate dogs if we need to. At your own homes, I will take care of the pets the way you tell me to. For walks we'll probably stay in the neighborhood, but if there is a special walking destination I'm sure I can make that work.
