“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lily was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while caring for our pets during our Florida trip. She communicated with us after every visit, sent plenty of pictures, and gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She administered medication to our feisty cat, Piper, without any issues, and took such loving, attentive care of our elderly dog, Gabby. It was clear she genuinely cared about them and treated them like they were her own. I can’t recommend Lily enough! We came home to two happy, well-cared-for pets, and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again in the future. Thank you, Lily!”

“We had an amazing experience with Christina! She took wonderful care of our two Goldendoodles and treated them like her own. She was reliable, kind, and kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly loved their time with her. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

“Robin is so sweet and our Bear just does so well with her. He is usually very shy, but seems to have warmed up to her quite easily. We can't thank Robin enough for the time she spends with him nd the care she gives.”

“Wonderful!! Kayla and Taylor LOVE animals. They were so amazing. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Great pics sent at every check in. Do not hesitate to book them. Will definitely use them again.”

Your fur baby will be treated as part of our family! My husband and I work full time, some days from home. My work is just few minutes away so I am able do potty breaks and walk during lunch. Our yard is not fenced but the neighborhood is very dog friendly with a little nature trail for walks.
About: Love to work with all types of pets! Years of experience with dogs and cats, I am very attentive to care instructions and always leave the pet and parent happy! I’m always family & friends first option for pet care🤍 which is where I got my experience from. In Saint Joseph for college, originally from Hawai’i so I’m pretty far from home. I love pets so this is the best way I could be spending my free time. I am very attentive to care instructions I do love dogs of all sizes🥰 I am not knowledgeable about trainings however I do appreciate a dog that can listen to simple commands.
“Rebecca was so great! She was available last minute and followed all the instructions for my 3 dogs. 2 of our dogs have to be kept separated from our 3rd dog. She came and met them by my request and I immediately got great vibes from her! We don’t usually need someone so it was great knowing we could trust her. We also got a message on how it all went with pictures. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up on a farm, I gained hands-on experience caring for equine, dogs, cats and many other animals. While I'm comfortable caring for a wide variety of pets, my greatest knowledge and experience are with equine, cats and dogs. I previously worked at KV Dressage, where I expanded my equine care skills and developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and daily management. I currently work at the hospital and am looking to provide flexible, part-time pet sitting because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I strive to provide reliable, compassionate care that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pets are in experienced, trustworthy hands. I currently work full-time at Mosaic Health Care, so my availability varies from week to week. My schedule is flexible, with some weeks working only one weekday and others working up to three weekdays. I do work most weekends, but I'm happy to discuss my availability in advance to find a schedule that works for both you and your pet. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care, I'll always be upfront about my availability and committed to providing reliable, dependable care whenever I'm booked. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine. My home features a fully fenced yard, providing plenty of space for supervised play and exercise. I have two friendly, fully vaccinated dogs of my own—a senior Black Lab/Boxer mix who loves cuddles and relaxing, and an energetic Black Mouth Cur mix puppy who enjoys playing all day. If your dog enjoys socializing, they'll have wonderful companions. If they prefer their own space, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect your home and follow your pet's routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable and give you peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have taken care of animals of many shapes and sizes throughout my life, from large dogs to kittens. I also have volunteer experience at KC Pet Project. I actively take care of cats and dogs of my own most days of the week around school and work, as well as maintaining other hobbies. Being able to help others with their pets is very fulfilling to me! I have experience feeding, brushing, walking, and training animals. In my clients home i would provide the upmost care for their pet and their home.
“Our shy kitties loved their visits from Gaby, she made sure they were well loved, fed and taken care of while we were away, which we are so appreciative of! They were in great hands!”

About: I always insure that pets are comfortable! I’ve taken care of old cats and dogs, and I when they are old like that it’s important to meet their needs first, as most of the time they need a lot of guidance and help. I am currently going into online college, so most of my day is free! I often sit down and watch TV or play video games, but I mostly enjoy writing and drawing in my free time I personally like to ask owners how there pets are in the company of others, as well as if any weather bugs them! The comfort of my pets, and owners is always my number 1 priority! I want to make sure that they are comfortable around me, and I never approach any animal until I’ve let them sniff me, it’s important that they trust me to be around them.
“Marianne was absolutely delightful at our meet and greet, and the gang 🐾 loved her from the start! The pics each visit felt very personal, and I knew my babies were in good hands!”

About: Growing up with a revolving door of furry friends (rescue pups and adopted kitties to be exact!), I understand the special bond we share with our animal companions. My home office offers a calm and loving environment where your dog can relax and receive personalized attention. I believe in tailoring each experience to their unique needs, whether it's a playful puppy, a senior who enjoys gentle strolls, or a special needs furball requiring extra TLC. I currently work from home most of the week. I'm available for boarding, dog walking and daycare during the week and weekends. I will try to accommodate any schedule. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs and a cat to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I'm experienced with handling dogs of all sized, breeds, and temperaments. Happy to accommodate special needs, dietary restrictions and medication schedules.
“We couldn't have ask for a better pet sitter! Olivia took wonderful care of our 2 cats, Benji & Lily, as well as our chickens while we were away for 2 weeks. She kept updated with messages and photos, which gave us peace of mind. Both cats looked happy and relaxed, even Lily, who's usually shy and Benji being spoiled with some snuggle time! The chickens were well cared for too. We came home to happy pets and a tidy house. If you're looking for someone reliable, caring and attentive, we highly recommend Olivia. We'll definitely be booking with her again!”

I grew up caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, and turkeys, which gave me hands-on experience with animals of all kinds from a young age. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs for family, friends, and neighbors, gaining experience with everything from puppy potty and crate training to feeding, walking, bathing, administering basic care, and providing lots of love and attention. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
