About: As on site caretakers for a local humane society, my husband and I love dogs. We have three dogs of our own, all currently seniors (12 yr old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, 9 yr old lab/pit mix, and 8 yr old German Shepard). We are very familiar with dogs with medical needs as our Chessie has a thyroid condition that we've been managing since his first year of life and our German Shepard is constantly fighting ear issues. We are able to administer medications, and monthlies such as Flea and Tick preventives and have experience handling dogs recovering from heart worms. We have both a morning and evening routine not only for our personal dogs, but also the Humane Society dogs as well. Our goal is to maximize love, care and potty breaks. We have an extra tall security fenced in yard, ample land to walk pups, and our residence is far back from any potentially dangerous main road. We leash walk all dogs on site and only allow play groups with prior approval from owners.

About: I love watching animals more than anything! Always know that your animal is loved and in great hands when I am in charge and responsible for them I am a full time student at The University of Alabama. This is my first year so I am still getting used to everything! I only have 2 classes max a day so have plenty of free time!! I know how to crate animals, as I have a puppy back home that is crate trained. If your yard is not fenced I will at all times keep your dog on a leash!!

About: From a young age I was taught to care for all kinds of animals such as birds, cats, dogs, pigs, and ferrets. I can bottle feed pigs, kittens, and puppies. I work with puppies on basic training skills such as sit, paw, and lay-down. I can also bath animals and give medicine when needed. My classes start at 8:00 AM so if I need to make morning trips for animal care it would need to be around 7:00 AM I get out of class at noon and typically don't have additional activities until 5:00 PM. After that I'm available from 8:00 PM till 10:00 PM for last calls at houses. Currently I live in a dorm where I cannot have animals but when I was home with my family I took the dog out first thing in the morning for a walk/ jog. Once we are back to the house I provide breakfast and got ready for school. At lunch my mom would let the dog out to go to the rest room, around 3:00 when I got home from school I took my dog out to play or swim for 45 minutes to an hour. Around 5:00 PM we would chill on the couch while I completed homework and then we her outside for her last potty break around 9:00 and then when she comes in I comb her and get her ready for bed for the night.

About: I have worked professionally with animals for over 12 years. I am a vet tech and can provide any type of care from your average house pets to your more exotic household pets such as rodents, reptiles and fish. I come with a plethora of references and would love to be your go to pet sitter while your out of town, working late or your pets desire some extra attention. I am a Tuscaloosa local so I will be available during all holidays, university breaks etc. I do own one dog names Snooki who is turning 10 this year. About: I worked at a boarding facility for a while where I was responsible for feeding, watering, and walking 150+ dogs a day. I am also experienced in dog bathing, brushing, nail clipping, and brushing teeth. I currently work at the metro animal shelter and I am skilled in medicating dogs and handling puppies and senior animals. I am free to care for your pet any time of day and any day of the week and cant wait to meet your furbabies! I will have my full attention on your pet anytime I am with it, I am comfortable crating your pet before I leave if you like.

About: I’ve been around animals since I can remember. I currently have 2 german shepard’s and they are the best!! My prior professional experience working with dogs is working with a few families in my neighborhood with various tasks such as walking, feeding, play dates, and even drop offs to vet/grooming appointments. I am currently in school and have a part time job. My availability is mostly weekends all day and weekday evenings after 6pm. I am also willing to help on vacation weeks/days if that is something you are interested in! If needed i can board your pup as long as he/she is friendly with other pups especially big ones. I have a fenced in yard and my fur babies are very friendly with people and other dogs!

About: I’ve owned a range of dogs since I was born. We have always had a dog ever since I was born and even owned cats. I own 2 Huskies right now named Shelby and Sadie and 2 Cats named Misty and Butterscotch. I attend the University of Alabama and can drop in before or after school any day of the week I can be very flexible with scheduling. All of my pets are cared for by me. I have had experience taking care of other people’s pets as I do work for a pet store in the Tuscaloosa area.
