As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. About: I've been training small puppies with basic dog commands and crate training since 2014. I started my petting-sitting services in Berkeley, California. I love to walk, feed, bathe, and love puppies. I recently bought a house in Reform, Alabama, and I welcome my fur friends to join my Havanese AKC Woody Ivy and me. I'm currently in my Ph.D. program at The University of Alabama. I mostly attend classes twice a week while I am on campus. On the days I am not attending class, I am at home spending quality time with my puppy, gardening, and doing fun things around my house. I believe in constantly transitioning and supervising my puppy, offering different activities day and night. We have a routine that starts at 6 am. He goes potty and has the liberty to sniff trees or go back to sleep. He eats breakfast at 7 am, goes for a walk at 8 am and 6 pm CT (4 pm CST), plays until nap at 11a, lunch/snack at 1p, plays with toys until he is ready to play fetch, and is obedient training outside, and then we people watch on our porch (which he loves to do) while I read. We do everything together! And when the night is young, he goes to bed inside his crate, next to my bed, at 9 (ish) to rest up for another day of play.

I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. Since I have owned many cats over the years I also consider myself experienced in cat care. I don’t mind cleaning up after pets and I can give medicine to unwilling pets. I don’t currently have a job so I my schedule is very flexible. I also don’t mind getting up early if necessary for your pet. I have a fenced backyard and my pets are friendly. I can easily crate your pet if that’s what they’re used to. I can also come to your house to take them out and give them plenty of love.

I am super free Tuesday and Thursday, and weekday/weekend nights. I love to have overnight visitors and take my pets on long walks themselves. About: I’ve lived on a 113 acre farm my entire life with minimum 7 dogs at a time along with showing pigs and steers for my local 4-H group! I have MWF from 9-5 Free to do walks, drop in visits, etc!
