“Finding Whitney was an absolute blessing! We had a beach trip that kinda came out of nowhere with a 10~ week old puppy that also jumped in our lives unexpectedly and we needed somewhere for him to stay while we were gone! I had never used Rover before but I knew our puppy, Bubba, was not old enough to stay at a boarding facility so I thought I would try it out. Bubba had a blast and I always looked forward to the videos Whitney would send me of him playing with her sweet dog, Pearl! For anyone that has a young puppy, I highly recommend Whitney cause if he had been at a boarding facility he wouldn’t have been able to play and get all his puppy energy out!”

“Jennifer was great! I just moved to the area and was in need of a dog sitter for a few days. She was responsive, provided regular updates and gave them a lot of love. I plan to use her again in the future. Thank you again!!”

“We left our 16-year-old small dog with Jennifer And Irving for two nights in two days. She was a great communicator and sent us photos of Mattie during her stay. They were also very flexible about drop off and pick up. Mattie seemed to be having a good time in her photos. I was concerned they might not want to keep her because she sometimes has accidents and they said she did great (better than at home). Jennifer has two small dogs and three cats, and there were no reported disagreements. We will definitely use them again.”

“I could not ask for a better caregiver for my baby than Talhia. She treated my boy like her very own and provided incredible updates and really useful feedback that I can implement at home. You absolutely can’t beat her level of skill and knowledge! 10/10!”

“Aislynn was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated on our puppy with pictures the entire trip. She included training, daily walks, and enrichment. This was my first time away from my puppy and she put me at ease. I will definitely rebook.”

“Ally was so amazing with my Goose! She absolutely loved playing with all her goldens! Ally was super responsive to any question or text I sent and also sent daily updates with pictures! Will definitely be rebooking with Ally, she’s a wonderful person to watch your babies!”

“My dogs - both young and old - loved staying with Savannah and her husband. We were also completely comfortable and confident the dogs had great care the entire time. Highly recommended!”

“She was great. House was clean, doggie updates were adorable and pups came home happy and bathed. Be really specific on pick up and drop off times well in advance and this is a perfect sitter”

“Bailey’s stay with Morgan was FABULOUS! I volunteer for Lost Dogs Illinois so I know firsthand how many dogs are lost when with a sitter. Morgan was super patient with my many questions and happily allowed a meet and greet in advance of Bailey’s stay so I could see her home and yard. When we arrived for Bailey’s stay, Mason and Morgan had it planned very carefully for a safe introduction to another dog staying with them and their dog, Tug. During her stay, Bailey enjoyed playing with Tug and the other pup visiting. Morgan sent me photo and video updates and was always super speedy in her responses to my texts. I could not be happier with Bailey’s stay with Morgan, Mason, and Tug. I’m sure she’ll be back with Morgan when we visit our Bama student again in the future.”

“I always loved using Jamie while in school at UA. Any time I had a last minute family trip where I couldn’t figure out flying my sweet pup with me, I could confidently leave my baby boy with her and her family! Extremely loving home, clean, and communicative. I had separation anxiety over not being with my pup for days (let’s be honest - hours lol) BUT I always smiled whenever I saw a text on what they were up to with some fun pics attached. I always knew he was in good hands!”

About: I've been training small puppies with basic dog commands and crate training since 2014. I started my petting-sitting services in Berkeley, California. I love to walk, feed, bathe, and love puppies. I recently bought a house in Reform, Alabama, and I welcome my fur friends to join my Havanese AKC Woody Ivy and me. I'm currently in my Ph.D. program at The University of Alabama. I mostly attend classes twice a week while I am on campus. On the days I am not attending class, I am at home spending quality time with my puppy, gardening, and doing fun things around my house. I believe in constantly transitioning and supervising my puppy, offering different activities day and night. We have a routine that starts at 6 am. He goes potty and has the liberty to sniff trees or go back to sleep. He eats breakfast at 7 am, goes for a walk at 8 am and 6 pm CT (4 pm CST), plays until nap at 11a, lunch/snack at 1p, plays with toys until he is ready to play fetch, and is obedient training outside, and then we people watch on our porch (which he loves to do) while I read. We do everything together! And when the night is young, he goes to bed inside his crate, next to my bed, at 9 (ish) to rest up for another day of play.

About: Every dog is treated like family and cared for in a quiet, low-stress (300 acre) farm environment designed around their comfort and routine. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in small-scale, boutique boarding with a very limited number of dogs at a time, ensuring close attention, consistency, and a calm atmosphere. Dogs follow a steady, predictable routine that includes outdoor time in a large fenced play area with partial shade for running and play, daily leash walks around the property, enrichment activities, and rest tailored to each dog’s individual needs and energy level. Dogs are thoughtfully matched by temperament to support a safe, comfortable environment. I have two well-socialized dogs of my own who enjoy other dogs, but interaction is always based on each visiting dog’s comfort level. If a dog prefers space or does best without other dogs, they can have a calm, low-traffic stay with minimal or no interaction. For dogs who enjoy socializing, my dogs provide friendly companionship in a supervised, relaxed setting. For dogs who do best on their own, I also offer the option of exclusive care—meaning no other client dogs will be booked during their stay. This allows for a fully personalized experience with my full attention. Dogs stay in a clean, climate-controlled indoor suite with indoor rest areas and direct access to a private fenced outdoor space. The focus is on individualized, attentive care where each dog can relax, feel secure, and settle in quickly. Caring for your dog is part of my daily routine since I’m home full-time on the 300 acre farm with the dogs throughout the day. Dogs enjoy a consistent schedule that includes outdoor play, walks, enrichment, meals, and rest, all tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I stay hands-on with their care and provide regular updates so you feel comfortable while you're away. I provide structured, attentive care in a calm farm setting designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dogs enjoy outdoor play, leash walks, enrichment activities, meals, and rest breaks tailored to their individual needs and energy levels. I provide regular up-dates with photos and videos, and you can check in any time to see how your pup is doing. Dogs have access to a clean, climate-controlled indoors, which is especially helpful for dogs who need their own space or do best with limited interaction. Since I also have two dogs of my own, I carefully manage introductions and can provide fully separate accommodations with no direct contact with other dogs if needed. There’s also a separate large fenced and partially shaded outdoor area where dogs can safely play, explore, and relax throughout the day.

“Danielle was in every sense excellent. She was far more capable than myself of watching these guys and was so chilled out during their entire stay as if to say, “don’t worry, i’ve got it.” My guys, Robby and Zoe, would exceedingly recommend that you book her at once. Thank you.”

Both of my dogs suffer from separation anxiety, and she did everything she could to make the both of them feel comfortable. She sent daily updates with photos at each drop in to let me know how they were doing!”

I have been passionate about animals since I was a child and this love for animals has grown over the years. I own 3 dog and a ferret – all are extremely well taken care of. Therefore, I am able to provide the same amount of love and care for your dogs as I do it for my own pets. “Picked up my check-in request on short notice and met up the next day to go over everything and get the key. Was communicative and made sure my 9 month old cat got through the few days I was gone. Stinky Pete approved”

“Isabella is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve had the privilege of hiring. She was very flexible with my last minute needs, her communication is top tier, and If there was ever a problem (my fault) she was good at letting me know. My puppy is a big fan of her per the daily photos I received. She has won me over as a repeat client and I look forward to taking another trip without the stress of worrying about my puppy’s needs. Thank you again, Isabella! (:”

About: I’m patient, gentle, and always willing to learn each cat’s personality and routine. I understand that cats need a calm and comfortable environment, and I’ll make sure they feel safe.

“Jake took such great care of my pets! He was able to handle my cat, senior dog and our puppies, was such a lifesaver while I was out of town. The pictures he took are so cute too, would definitely recommend Jake watching your pets, he treated them with a lot of care.”

“Leah took good care of our two cats while we were on vacation! She sent pictures, gave them treats, played with them, and regularly updated us. It felt great knowing they were in good hands while we couldn't be with them.”

“Anna couldn’t have been more friendly, professional, responsive, and attentive. We felt so comfortable knowing she was going to take great care of our two dogs. We will definitely call her again when in need of a friendly and responsible person to look after our dogs.”

About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others. Took time out to build that trust, connection, and loyalty to make sure we trust each other and be there for each other. I currently just graduated school. I went to Troy University out of high school and transferred to the University of Mississippi for my final year. Right now I have alot of free time on my hands and can work around any schedule. I care for pets the same way I care for a human. But also with the understanding the dog has to know your the “Top Dog” in a sense so it knows to respect you and not turn against you.

“Thomas was an awesome cat sitter for my two cats over the winter break. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience! I received daily pictures and came back to my apartment just as I left it. I wholeheartedly recommend Thomas as a cat sitter for those looking for reliable pet care.”

I have walked, fed, and played with the dogs I’ve taken care of and always appreciate specific instructions for particular pets. I have been working for family and friends for 3 years and worked through a boarding facility for 2 years. I have dogs of my own—a mutt I’ve raised since he was born almost 11 years ago and a 3 year old boxer. Dogs are my everyday job that don’t feel like a job! There’s nothing in this world that I appreciate more than our furry friends. While I don’t take dogs into my home at the moment (I live with four roommates), at your home I will always be all eyes and ears for your pet! I’ve had clients with special instructions before and I definitely would not mind it again!

About: Hi furbaby parents! 🐕❤️ Summer is here! 🥰Bring your baby for their "fur-cation" where the fun & relaxation is!😍🐶 Having to get a sitter, drop-in visit or walks scheduled for your baby can be a stressor- being away from your baby & finding your person. Well you have found your person here. I love furbabies & will take great care of your baby. 🐶♥️ To me they are our babies, & like us, they each have their own likes, dislikes, quirks & personalities. I have furkids myself & my house is setup with furbabies & safety in mind. 🥰 I have furbaby beds in several rooms, gates between doorways so in case someone wants to be alone, I can accommodate, or if your baby needs time to warm up to a new place, thats another reason to have gates, for them to meet & greet at their own pace, not rushed. I just don't like the idea of having to stay in kennels, like at the vet! Thats what brought me to Rover as a client, now a sitter myself. I have a playroom for furbaby friends with plenty of toys, beds & a fenced in backyard for supervised potty & play! On pretty days we spend as much time outside as we can. We also have elevated beds outside, 2 little pup-pools, large grassy area & covered backporch with fan, patio umbrella & also a water misting fan to beat the heat! Thats a real treat! (Pup cups too!)🥰 My babies love everyone, but I know not everyone else's pups love the same things. Its important for them all feel safe & comfortable. I have kennels if needed, which we rarely use, with a spare room if needed. So if one wants to nap quietly & another wants to run & play, its no problem at all. My senior pup is 10 & will play some but mostly likes to lounge & watch the others; my twins are almost 2 & will play off & on all day, so your baby will have a great time! *I can do boarding in my home, sitter service, stop by for drop-in visit & feed/water, potty & play, or stop by & take them for a walk. I can stop by for kitty care, but cant board Ms/Mr Kitty at my house, sorry. *Ater hours pickup/drop off is no problem. My furkids are neutered/ spayed, fully vaccinated & get monthly heartworm/hookwork flea/tick prevention 💊 Prevention & good health is very important to me, as I would hope yours is taken care of also. Your baby is in good hands here, & will have plenty of playtime & treats; OR if we just want to nap, we love that too! 😊 ✨️Message me & let me know what days/times you need. Lots of love to go around.🥰 ***FIRST TIME CLIENTS: Safety for all in important. Let's set up a quick meet & greet. That way, I can get better acquainted with your baby & you, and so your baby isn't meeting me as a stranger on our first day of stay, but I understand sometimes its not an option for whatever reason, & thats okay. We will be glad to have you! **We will meet in a Public/Safe place. Thanks & hope to see you & your babies soon! 🥰UPDATE: Rover makes 20% of all earnings, I offer discounted or locked in rates for my Repeat clients or Regulars; I even do some private pay clients. I take care of furkids a little more "extra" than many furparents, I've been told! But to me that's a compliment! Bc being furbaby lover, I believe in real loving care, not just meeting basic needs. 🐕 🐈 🦮 COME STAY & PLAY!🥰🐶❤️ I work locally & have recent changes in my schedule which gives me more availability. I also have my own precious furbabies at home, so it's not a new task. I would manage the same way I do for my own. So let me know what you need & I will get you on my calendar! And Thank you for inquiring with me. And much thanks to my current Regulars & for all the wonderful comments & reviews! I appreciate you all so much & I'm always here, so book early, as I only keep a few babies at a time, for adequate, attentive care! I have a treated fenced in back yard for our Supervised play & potty & security cameras in & outside my home for safety. Update: Please ensure your furbabies are up to date on vaccines. Cameras on and within property for safety. *I thought this should go in the safety area: I'm no stranger to the area. I'm originally from Fayette County. I have family here in Northport, Coker & Tuscaloosa. So, I am a lifelong local to the area, and have a complete background attached to my profile & also have updated Government Clearance. So rest assured, your baby is safe with me.

“I really appreciate Morgan. My schedule unfortunately almost caused a conflict with hers and she still went above and beyond to make sure Max enjoyed himself. Even as I picked Max up he continued to attempt to leave the car to go back with her, I could tell he enjoyed himself with her dog as well. Very appreciative! Definitely reach out to her about your fur baby.”

About: I understand what it means to leave your dog in someone else's care. That’s why your furry friend won’t just be a guest—they’ll be treated like family, with personalized care and lots of love. I currently don’t have pets at home, which allows me to provide exclusive attention to the dogs I care for. My furry family is in Mexico, my home country, and since I travel frequently, I can’t have them with me. This has only strengthened my dedication to care for other people’s pets with love, respect, and responsibility. I mostly work with repeat clients throughout the year. This helps me truly get to know each dog—their routines, their likes and dislikes—and make them feel calm and at home. Even though I’m still learning English, I always find ways to communicate clearly—using tools or translation support when needed. I’m committed to making every family feel heard, safe, and confident. If you're looking for someone to care for your dog as if they were their own—with love, respect, and dedication—I'm here to help! 💕 Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I am passionate about their well-being. I plan my days flexibly to meet their needs, ensuring they get plenty of playtime, exercise, and companionship. Additionally, I organize my schedule to provide them with a safe and comfortable environment. I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for according to their individual needs. In my clients' homes, I follow their usual routines to minimize stress for the pet, ensuring they receive the attention and companionship they need. Additionally, I maintain constant communication with the owners to give them peace of mind while they are away.
“Alicia is so sweet! She was so good with my two pups. We used her for daycare and she sent me so many pics! She has a backyard which is great for our more energetic dog. Her dog and her kids were super friendly and gentle with our dogs. I could tell my babies were exhausted from when we got in the car.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the last 8 years my brothers two dogs along with the three dogs I had growing up. I love dogs, they truly know how to turn any bad day into a good one. I currently call high school sports but other than that I’m always at home, if known in advance I can always take time off and be available at anytime I have a huge front and back yard, I there aren’t any dogs in the house at the current time but I do dog sit for my brother so there are times when other family friendly dogs will be in the house.
“Zoe was a life saver for us! She was able to keep Charlie on short notice and provide great updates and took great care of him. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our Pikey!! You showed up last minute when we didn’t know what we were going to do with her when we were both at work. She has come a long way in her puppy development thanks to you. We highly recommend you to anyone who is thinking of booking you as a sitter!”

“Samantha did an amazing job! She was very accommodating as our drop off time was very last minute. She sent updates and we felt like our pup was in great hands the whole time. We will definitely reach out again when we are back in the area.”

“Savannah very clearly LOVES dogs and she made sure my fur baby had a blast every time he came for daycare. She was always on time and a great communicator. I can definitely be a helicopter mom at times, but I would trust her with my pup any day! We will definitely be back!”

About: I got my first family dog at the age of 12 and he was a 100 pound chocolate Labrador named Max. When I moved to Germany, I was not allowed to take him so he currently lives with my brother. After moving back to the US, I got my own toy poodle at the age of 16 named Eymber and was completely responsible for her. Once I moved to college, I got her a puppy named Koko and they absolutely love eachother. Eymber is now 5 years old and koko is 1. Occasionally, I stop by the Tuscaloosa animal shelter to volunteer and I love being the reason a pup was happy that day. I love my babies and all fur babies more than anything in the world!!💛 I graduated from the University of Alabama in December of 2024. I’m a stay at home wife while my spouse works at the Alberta elementary school of performing arts so I’ll have plenty of time to cafe for your pups. I have a small fenced in backyard and 2 adult toy poodles who are very sweet to everyone. I live in a small neighborhood with tons of space to take walks/runs. I also prefer a gentle approach when correcting behavior and I believe crates should be a safe space rather than punishment.

About: What sets me different from others is the genuine connections I have with Dogs. A Dog is a man bestfriend and I love that quote. I single handedly trained all my dogs and others.

Thank you.”

I will work with you on what your needs are for your fur family member while you are away. My ultimate goal is to have my own full time doggie care.
