As a proud pet parent myself, I believe in showering our babies with all the love and affection their precious lives deserve. I prioritize active, joyful outdoor time, including trips to the park, long walks, and relaxing together on the back porch! I'm correctly working part time and have a fairly flexible schedule. I want to be able to prioritize your pet's needs whether that looks like 1+ hour walks/ enrichment time or special feeding times and instructions. Your pets comfort is my number 1 priority. About: I've been training small puppies with basic dog commands and crate training since 2014. I started my petting-sitting services in Berkeley, California. I love to walk, feed, bathe, and love puppies. I recently bought a house in Reform, Alabama, and I welcome my fur friends to join my Havanese AKC Woody Ivy and me. I'm currently in my Ph.D. program at The University of Alabama. I mostly attend classes twice a week while I am on campus. On the days I am not attending class, I am at home spending quality time with my puppy, gardening, and doing fun things around my house. I believe in constantly transitioning and supervising my puppy, offering different activities day and night. We have a routine that starts at 6 am. He goes potty and has the liberty to sniff trees or go back to sleep. He eats breakfast at 7 am, goes for a walk at 8 am and 6 pm CT (4 pm CST), plays until nap at 11a, lunch/snack at 1p, plays with toys until he is ready to play fetch, and is obedient training outside, and then we people watch on our porch (which he loves to do) while I read. We do everything together! And when the night is young, he goes to bed inside his crate, next to my bed, at 9 (ish) to rest up for another day of play.

About: I have never had an animal not love me at first sight. I have 3 dogs and two cats so I am very familiar with animals I am currently working part time and can stay the night with your pets or just come and check on them any time necessary. At least 2-3 times a day. More if needed I keep my animals safe, secure, and well fed. I will treat your pet like my own and give them lots of love and treats if so permitted.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since childhood, and for the last five years I’ve regularly helped friends and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and basic care. I am really inspired by Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary and one day I hope to open my own animal sanctuary, but Rover will have to do for now. I've always had at least one dog in my house growing up. Right now I have two dogs as well as cats in my home. I also have a fenced yard to offer supervised play time and potty breaks. I'd be more than happy to drop in and make sure your lil' kitty-kat is well fed, played with, and has a clean litter box OR even host them in my cat room (AKA a quiet bedroom reserved just for cats that my pups do not have access to). Special skills: house training, crate training, medication administration- liquid and capsule, walking multiple (big) dogs at the same time, supervised play and feeding, etc. **Full disclosure: I am not on Rover for this to be my source of income. I keep my rates low because I know how expensive it can be when looking for trusted animal care, especially when you have more than one animal in the home and need to be away for more than a night. About: I've taken of so many animals its hard to keep track. Cats, dogs, etc... You name the animal and I've been there to take care of them. I am super free Tuesday and Thursday, and weekday/weekend nights. I love to have overnight visitors and take my pets on long walks themselves. I usually get up pretty early, so there is some time there as well! I live in a house with a backyard pretty close to downtown, so lots of shaded sidewalks and places to run around in. The house is already dog-proof (read scratched up) so no worries there!
