About: I grew up with dogs and have loved caring for them ever since! Neighbors and friends have often relied on me for dog sitting and knowing I’m dependable and gentle with every pup. I have experience giving medications, handling tiny dogs and large, energetic ones, and making sure each dog feels safe, loved, and cared for like family. I am currently working part-time at a dermatology office. My schedule is very flexible, so whether that be stopping by after work hours or being needed for a weekend, I can make things work! While I don’t currently have pets of my own, that allows me to give your dog my full attention and care. I make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe by following their normal routines as closely as possible—whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, going on walks they enjoy, or giving extra cuddle time. My goal is always to make your pet feel loved and at home, wherever they are.

About: My experience with animals started in middle school when I began caring for two elderly Shih Tzus. From there, I started dog sitting for families around Goodland throughout my high school years, simply because of my genuine love for animals. Over time, I expanded my experience by fostering dogs for the Cleveland County Animal Shelter in North Carolina, where I’ve cared for multiple breeds with different personalities, needs, and energy levels. This was something I truly enjoyed and did on my days off from practice as I am a Division 1 NCAA athlete, which can be proof to my dedication and abilities at time management and multi-tasking! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I’m very active, organized, and enjoy spending time outdoors. As a Division 1 athlete, staying active and keeping in shape is already a big part of my lifestyle, so I love opportunities that allow me to exercise while caring for animals through walks, playtime, and staying engaged with them throughout the day. Pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy, and it’s a great balance alongside my training and schedule. My goals to make your animal feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I dealt with mainly rescues from the Cleveland county shelter and found a passion for making trust with animals. In a client’s home, I try to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I pay close attention to behavior, cleanliness, and safety at all times to make sure pets are happy and stress-free. I also understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pet and home, so I always aim to be dependable, respectful, and communicative throughout the stay.

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. In the past Ive dealt more with larger zoo animals like wolves and lynx's but Im always a sucker for some cute dogs. Im currently working mid week, Im available for boarding at any time however during M,T,Th,F bathroom breaks will be limited to 4-8 hours. During weekends and Wednesdays Ill be available to give your furry friends all the attention they need throughout the day. I live in a condo with no designated yard however there is an unfenced yard available for use and dogs will be taken on frequent walks, at least 2 times a day but this varies on your dogs needs. Im open to all dog sitting styles so if you like your dog crated at night or left to roam around just let me know. If your dog has specific preferences or needs please just specify before dropping them off.

About: Most of my pet sitting experience has been taking care of friends pets when they travel. I've cared for pets for up to 2 months while a friend was away. I have more experience with cats but love caring for dogs as well! I work Monday to Wednesday, and have busy Saturdays, so I am available primarily Thurdays, Fridays and Sundays. But I can make time on Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday afternoons/ evenings as needed. When I pet sit, I am very vigilant. I keep the pet with in eye sight as much as possible. Before going to bed, I check to make sure they are settled for the night and I check on them first thing in the morning. I will usually keep reminders on my phone for feeding times, walks, and medication if needed.

“Erin is the most amazing soul I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I had a different rover sitter scheduled weeks in advance that was supposed to stay in my house with my 2 frenchies while I went back to MD to visit with family. The night before my flight I received a message from the sitter saying he could not make it & the booking was cancelled, needless to say I was panicking trying to find someone last minute. It turns out that was the biggest blessing because Erin saved my entire trip! She is so wonderful! She was willing to stop by my house an hour after contacting her so I could show her where everything was and so she could meet Loki and Diesel. She treated my frenchies as if they were her own! She sent me updates, videos and pictures multiple times a day! I always worry about someone watching my dogs because I have one frenchie who is jealous and shows aggression towards my other frenchie. That did not deter Erin, she accepted the challenge and navigated everything with patience and grace! I feel so lucky that the initial rover sitter canceled less than 12 hours before my scheduled flight because it lead me to Erin!”

My name is Nicole, and I grew up in Indiana where I spent many years caring for my own pets, the pets of friends and neighbors, and the pets of clients at a local doggy daycare and boarding facility. I work in the environmental field with particular focus on wildlife research meaning I also have experience handling a variety of wild animals for monitoring and conservation. I most recently started a job in the south Florida area, and I deeply miss caring for your fur babies! With that being said, if you are out of town this month or need some extra attention for your pet during the holidays, please reach out! Currently, my availability is limited to the evenings and weekends :) Some of my background… I began pet sitting in my own home as a child, where I learned the basics of animal care and behavior through my dog, two cats, and tortoise. My care experience became more comprehensive as they reached old age which translated well as I began looking after the pets of friends and neighbors by walking, feeding, medicating, and of course giving their animals lots of attention while they were away. As my professional career shifted toward wildlife research and handling, my experience in animal care increased significantly. I spent eight months out of this past year working as a pet care tech at a cage-free doggy day care and boarding facility, where I handled all different sizes, ages, and demeanors of dogs in groups of 10-25 animals. I became very effective in evaluating dog behavior in order to mitigate negative interactions in the groups and monitor any changes in their health while they were under my care. On top of this, I spent time bathing, trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing, feeding, and playing with dogs every single day. Furthermore, I took extra steps to provide notes on each dog’s health, behavior, and their playmates while they were under my supervision so that the owners knew what their dog was up to while they were away! This extra effort earned me the first employee of the month designation the company has awarded in many years. I left this position when I accepted a role at a national park, but I would love to dive back into the pet care world and visit your furry friends! I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages and I will see to their medical and behavioral needs as directed by you-the owner! I love to focus on reducing anxiety and energy levels through the activity most suited to the pet whether that be playing with a particular toy, training, or going on a walk.
