About: We've had dogs since when my husband and I first got married, in about 2006. We've lived in our wonderful home for about five years. We've got a beautiful 2-acre yard with a small fenced-in area next to the house. There is plenty of room to fetch and explore, and lots of wonderful trails nearby. We can take your pup to the river, or on a stroll through town! We have five kids that love animals, and we homeschool, so we are home most days to love on your pet. My two oldest love taking care of animals, and they have plenty of time on their hands for drop-ins or dog walking. I will always be there with them, but they are totally willing to do it, and if they aren't available, I'll gladly take care of it. We are home most of the time, with a couple days leaving for a few hours, so the dogs will get lots of free time to chill on the dog bed or at our feet. When we are gone though, the dogs will be kenneled alongside our pooches in their own comfy crate. During the summer, our dogs will hang out with us on the deck or get attached to a lead while we garden or run around. During rain or snow though, your pet will get a daily walk (or more) and time to play in the side yard! We have a fenced yard and plenty of room for your dog to lounge comfortably around our house. Typically we exercise our dogs once a day, but we are totally willing to accommodate. They get fed twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, although sometimes they'll sneak a little food out of us. At night, your dog will most likely be kenneled in our basement. We ask that you bring your own kennel. We don't make many exceptions, and none for young dogs. Our kids absolutely love animals, so your pet will get all the love they could every need, with lots of hugs and kisses. If that's not what your dog is into to, our kids will totally understand that and will give your dog the space they need!

About: Hi there! My name is Grace M and I'm a current educator who is available for weekend services OR weekday services, as long as they do not interfere with school hours (7am-4pm) I had a dog for 15 years of my life! Once I was old enough I was able to care for him when my parents were away and whenever I was home. Unfortunately, he passed now, but I went on to adopt two cats who I love very much - one is 5 and one is 2. I've done walks, I've stayed overnight, I've checked in at homes, I do what I can to make sure animals are taken care of in the most efficient way possible! I will make sure your pets enjoy the time that I am with them and I will make sure that you can put them into care that you can trust! As a teacher, I am unavailable during the work week between the hours of 7am to 4pm. I can do any walks or drop ins after those hours. Otherwise, I am free on the weekends, which includes Friday evenings! I have enough toys, trees, and scratchers to make sure my kitties stay entertained and happy. Scheduled feeding and clean litter boxes to make sure everyone stays healthy :)

My yard is unfenced, but I have access to a dog park just behind my home. I can offer any potty times and feeding times needed! I'm currently working gig work and do not have a steady job. I am home most of the time and can give your furry friend all of the attention they desire! I have 2 dogs that are very friendly and love to play! About: My experience comes from life. I’ve taken care of bunnies, reptiles, cats, and dogs. For dogs specifically, I worked at a doggy daycare before moving here, and before that, I watch many of my family friends' animals while they went camping or traveling. I have a lot of experience with all kinds of dogs including Great Danes, senior cats and dogs along with lots of puppies. I’ve also had a bit of training experience with puppies. As far as bunnies go, my roommate for a year has bunnies, and some friends from home do too. While living with my roommate, I’ve watched her bunnies many times while she was away. My best friend has reptiles that I’ve fed and taken care of as well. Since leaving the doggy daycare and moving, I have truly missed the joy of connecting and building bonds with animals, and there’s nothing like having the pet parents proud or happy with the work you’ve done. I am currently working part time so I’m very flexible on time. Mornings before 10 are almost always completely open. My shifts go for 5 hours maximum when I do work. I minimum like to spend 30 minutes with any animal to be sure all of their needs are met however, if it looks like the animal wants more, I end up staying for an extra 10-15 minutes so the animal can also gain a level of comfortability with me. I like to leave knowing that the animal is cared for but more so content with the attention and love that they deserve to have every day.

About: I have been pet sitting for 4 years now, I love it everyday and I hope to expand my little business to more of you. If you have any more questions or want references please let me know. My neighbors just got a new puppy and I help out with her as much as they need. I currently have a job but am available all the time if I’m not working. So far I work Monday thru Friday and times vary. My own dogs have a hidden electric fence and they are very trained in that and they know what happens if they cross the fence. They get shocked. Sometimes they don’t follow that but we are trying are best to keep them in.

About: Hello! My name is Alexa and I will be a senior at MSU in the fall. I love all kinds of dogs and actually work at a doggy daycare. I have 3 golden retrievers at home and miss them dearly so thought this would be perfect to get some extra love from other puppies! I’m here for the summer and looking for more things to keep me busy! I enjoy long walks and just hanging when necessary. I do work part time, however I do know my schedule a few weeks in advance and can schedule activities with you by that. I will make sure the dog is comfortable and fed. I will make sure all gates are closed or crating the dog if necessary. I promise to treat your dog how I would treat mine.

“I would definitely recommend Shenice. She handled my wild child like a pro. She kept me informed on everything my dog did and even sent photos. I will definitely be hiring her again in the future.”

About: I grew up with pets. Since I no longer have my own pets I miss spending time with pets. I started caring for my friends pets and now decided to expand to others. I grew up with dogs as my best friends. I no longer have my own pets as I live in a building that charges extra to have a pet per month. I also like to travel. I am a grandmother of 3 wonderful boys. And I enjoy walking and being outside. I will care for pets at your home. I do not offer pet sitting at my own home as I live in an apartment building that would charge me per month to have a pet.

About: I watch friends pets all the time while they are away, not an expert at animals by any means but know how to love them well! I am a nurse and looking for things to keep me busy on days off! I have a doodle myself and we love getting outside and walking! Let me know your normal routine and ways of doing things, rules for your furry friend and I will do my best to keep it just the same!

About: Hi there! I’m Wendy, an animal lover and dedicated pet caregiver with over 2 years of experience in dog walking, pet sitting (cats as well), and overnight care. I believe every pet deserves a loving and safe environment, and I strive to provide just that for your furry family members. I am currently available over the weekends, weekdays, and nights. Free for summer break, so I will be available for extra hours if need be. I customize my services to fit your pet's needs and routines. You’ll receive daily updates and photos, so you won’t miss your furry friend while you’re away. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to calm seniors.

About: I have been watching pets since I was 13. My family and friends have always relied on me for years as their primary sitter. I have a wide range of experience from puppies to seniors. Trained in dog body language and behavior to correct inappropriate play and limit incidences in multiple dog homes or during play dates. Can administer medications and supplements. Experience with seizure risk dogs. I love to provide baths and nail trims/grinds when requested to provide a little something extra while caring for dogs. Reptiles and pocket pets (bunnies, guinea pigs, ferrets, sugar gliders, etc.) are a specialty. I have around 8 years of experience. Knowledgable in a variety of reptiles and able to efficiently learn more care to provide the best possible. I have some experience with birds, but happy to learn more. I work a part-time job giving me more time to care for your fur babies. I can sit on weekends that aren’t planned in advance on my schedule. Holidays sitting is dependent on care requirements as I like to spend this time with extended family. I don’t provide my home for sitting at this time due to my own pets and the limited space, and I’m a strong believer that your pets are more comfortable in their own homes. Overnight stays I don’t do with new clients, but can change with more familiarity. Due to this a potty break before bed is given, and I will be there in the morning for another potty and breakfast. I will also hang with your pets during the day on and off, and do any extra activities requested that fit with my schedule. I strive to maintain cleanliness when providing care at a client’s home. I will always clean up after myself and animals after a long stay. I try to stick to routines, but sometimes may need to adjust with my job. Providing baths and nail trims/grinds after a stay is a perk I like to offer to those wanting. Coming home to a clean house and pet(s) is very important to me when working with clients.

About: I have both experience in caring for cats and dogs. I grew up on a farm with tons of animals and have always loved being surrounded by animals. I have one cat of my own and had previously owned a different one that had passed away. I love going on walks with dogs and snuggling with them. Currently I work Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm. I do have an hour lunch break during the day in which I could stop by a home and let a dog out for a bathroom break. I work to make my home an environment that any pet would love. I currently have a cat and have lots of scratchers and catnip toys around for him to play with. I make it a priority to make sure his needs are met at all times. I am very attentive with his health and monitor to make sure he is acting himself. We play together a lot when I am home and I enjoy taking him out on his harness with a leash so he can be outside with me to soak up some sunshine.

Rachel W.Star Sitter
“I had a senior cat and Rachel and family took great care of my cat. When I needed someone to check on her twice a day Rachel and family stood up to the challenge. The cat also needed special attention with medication and carful amount of food and my cat was well taken care of. I am known To take very long trips lasting weeks and coming home my cat never seemed stressed out or uncared for. I even asked Rachel and family to pull the mail, water plants and oversee the house while taking the longer trips and the family did just that. Everything was left right where I asked for it to be placed. When my cat passed this spring. I found amazing comfort in Rachel and her family and found a very nice houseplant on my step with a caring loving note which brought comfort to me that Rachel and her family went over the top to care for my cat. Now days since I don’t have the cat I still use Rachel and her family to water the house plants and look over the house while we take our longer trips.”
