Dog Walking Madison Lake

About: I’m recently retired and have had dogs all my life, since being 7 years old. I had to put my last fur baby to sleep in January 2026, and my significant other's dog to sleep in September 2026. We will be traveling over the next few years so don’t want to get another right now, and really miss having a doggo around! I used Rover quite a bit when I had dogs so would love to pay it forward and help someone else. Plus then I hopefully will get my "fix"! Live in Madison Lake with my significant other and am currently very flexible, having just retired. I usually walk first thing in the morning and then after dinner when weather permits. I love to hang outside and read on the deck overlooking the lake, or work in the garden beds, so can take your dog on the leash outside too to be in the fresh air if they like that sort of thing. My first choice would be to host dogs in our house as we have a pretty good set up for dogs. But I'm willing to drive to Mankato or St. Peter area for pet sitting or dog walking because I understand some dogs are just better off in their own space, if it's a short timeframe.

In your home, I aim to keep their environment as familiar and stress-free as possible by sticking to their usual schedule and respecting your space. I also prioritize secure leash handling during walks and double-check doors and gates to prevent escapes. I treat every pet like my own—with patience, attentiveness, and plenty of love.

About: I have had all kinds of animals growing up, I love all animals and am great with any kind!! I can provide great care and comfort to your babies when you’re away :) I currently go to school and work part-time at caribou coffee and will be working at avera brady in the soon as well, I would stay at homes if requested. I check on the animals frequently and make sure they have both food and water. I also make sure they are well taken care of before bed.

About: Hi there, I'm Liz! I'm excited for the opportunity to meet and care for your pet. I grew up on a farm in northern Minnesota, where my family raised beef cattle, sheep, chickens, and horses. Animals are and always have been a huge part of my life. I now live in Mankato with my Mini Goldendoodle, Winston, and I was a high school Agriculture teacher. I take the responsibility of caring for animals seriously. In college I took a variety of animal science classes covering small and large animal care and handling, nutrition, and vet science. I started this service because of Winston. When I worked 10-hour days, I couldn't justify leaving him home alone that long. A friend who worked from home offered to take him for the day, and it was worth every penny, for my peace of mind and for his health and well-being. That's the care I wanted for my own pup, and now I can offer it to yours. With winter coming, I know how hard it is to get outside when it's dark and freezing. I make sure Winston gets plenty of exercise all winter long, and I'd love to do the same for your dog. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, day sitting, and boarding. About: I have a deep connection with everything living. Growing up with animals on my side throughout my childhood and having 5 at one time was a lot of work but it was surly amazing. I really want a fun job over the summer between school years. I love working hard and overachieving where i should be. Animals help me keep it together and always put a smile on my face no matter what Dog sitting for people i didn't know was a little weird in the beginning than my moms bookclub all started asking me. On top of meeting all the different crazy puppies and their little different perks I loved going back and them remembering me.

About: I have experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. I worked in a doggy daycare/boarding facility for about a year. I’m so grateful for that experience because I learned so much. I learned to read doggy body language really well, so I have the utmost confidence that I can help your pup feel comfortable around me! I currently work at a veterinary clinic as a vet assistant. I’ve worked with cats and dogs of all sizes, temperaments and I’ve had my fair share who are picky eaters. So I won’t be offended if your pup doesn’t take treats from me! I have worked with dogs who are confident, and dogs who are shy and just need some extra time to warm up to me. While the puppy appointments are great, I also have gotten a lot of work in with senior pets too! Whether your pup is going to push me out the door to play fetch, or would rather spend some time in the couch getting snuggles and belly rubs, they’ll taken care of just like they were my own fur baby. Hi there! I’m Elizabeth! I currently work from 7:30 - 5 Monday through Thursday. I am currently available for house sitting almost every Friday and weekend. I am available for walks or play times after 6 pm most days Monday through Thursday! I currently have 3 amazing basset hounds and 2 cats that I live with. Our bassets have a fenced in yard, but I’ve also lived with mixed breeds. My mixed breeds have been anywhere from smaller dogs to 100+ pounds! I understand that some pets are cautious around new people. When at work at my veterinary clinic, I take my time with dogs that are more shy. I want all pets I encounter to be my friend, and I know it can take longer with some pets.

About: I have been taking care of animals for over 15 years now with experience with any age or size of dog. I am very flexible with your or your pets needs. I offer all services available. I am home full time so I am able to be with your dog and provide potty and play breaks several times during the day. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company! About: We have had the pleasure of owning a small business called "Pet-Inn" and boarded many dogs! Me and my mom took care of others dogs for quite some time and really enjoyed it. This experience helped me become passionate about entrepreneurship as well as working towards a compassionate connection with your pets! I currently have a part-time small business I'm running apart from being a "SAHM" so I will have plenty of time to get to know your beloved pet and get to know them so I can take care of them in the best way I know possible! I have some free time in my schedule, so finding a slot during the week to care for your pet works well for us. I have a now 6-year-old who adores small dogs, cats, and other animals! I am well aware of the responsibilities of pet care, but I want to emphasize that your pet's safety is my top priority.
