“I would definitely book with Jack again. He was accommodating and professional, so easy to work with. I was fostering a 4-month-old shepherd mix that was rescued from a very abusive situation in El Paso, TX. Thora was transported to Milwaukee and only fostered with me for a week when I found out that my remote status was abruptly ending that following week. Since she was just starting to come out of her shell, I didn’t want to leave her in a crate all day while I was at work. So, I turned to Rover! Jack lives nearby and with her abuser having been a male, I liked the idea of doggy daycare with a man so she could experience proper treatment from a male caretaker. He responded to my request right away and when we arrived for the meet-and-greet, Thora instantly took to Jack; there was no hesitation or fear. Jack was responsive and communicative all week, didn’t have any issues. Thora was rescued in rough shape. She was extremely underweight even for a puppy, so I was very specific and detailed about her meals and potty schedule and Jack stayed on top of it. I received updates throughout the day as well as pictures. Many of the pix were of Thora napping or lounging next to Jack; she was so comfortable there. He works remotely and took Thora to a nearby park on his lunch breaks. He taught her to play catch and sent me some footage for her online adoption bio. I watched Thora’s confidence grow under Jack’s care; it was great to see. She’d get so excited when we arrived at his home every morning. I’m so glad Jack was available that week; it worked out great for Thora. Thank you, Jack!”

About: I owned a dog growing up and cared for and trained one with my family. I sit for friends and family from time to time and I love to play and take dogs for walks and, if they are able, runs of up to a few miles! I have a fenced in yard, and my kids (4, 8) are also great with animals. I work from home. With the exception of rare travel days, school drop-offs, and evening events, I will always be around the house to care for your pup. Your pet will get the attention it needs, as I work from home and I have a fenced in yard, as well as young boys that are great with animals. Frequent outside visits and play times are very doable.

About: I am aware of the prominently displayed cancellation on my profile. Please don't let that worry you. It was a extremely rare event where I had an emergency roof repair. It's not an incident that would ever repeat. I use a Life360 tile on a separate collar for your dog for an added sense of security. I have over 20 years of experience caring for animals, all personalities. I care about your pets safety and needs as much as you. I'm gentle and patient and talkative. For overnight I have an extra room that they can stay in (See pictures). Bath and grooming available on request or if needed. They will be able to go potty however often they need to. I have a fenced in backyard. For daycare I can offer half day rates which would be 4 hours. I can offer reduced rates for small dogs. Rover does not provide for these discounts over the app, so make sure to ask me when requesting booking. I can work around your schedule. Unless I have other bookings I will be here to help. I may be able to do same day bookings if I have availability, so just ask asap. Everything will be tailored to your specifications so I like to go over routine first. About: My husband and I have had several pets throughout the years. We’ve owned rabbits, cats, birds and dogs. Currently we have one dog we adopted from the humane society. All of our dogs have been rescues. We enjoy providing a good home to animals. We care for our daughter’s dogs when she is out of town. We look forward to meeting new furry friends. I’m at home daily so I am able to care for your pets as needed throughout the day. My husband is home in the evenings and will be able to provide walks for the dogs. We have a large fenced in back yard for your pet to play and explore. We only care for two dogs at a time as we have a dog of our own.

About: I have had animals since I was young, so I understand a lot of animal behaviors and personalities. I am a go-to pet sitter for my family and friends because my love for animals is so visible and recognized. I am not one to get upset if an animal has an undesirable behavior, instead I remain calm and try to understand. I love every animal I meet, even those I never will. I will be going back to school in the fall and will be working part time, but I would love spending my free time and nights with animals! I have a small/medium terrier mix and two cats at home. I have two different housing options I can bring pets to. One house, where my animals live, that has a fenced in yard (in Greendale) and another house that has no animals (in Muskego), but no fenced in yard. My dog has issues with dogs that are bigger than him, he may feel threatened and lash out. However, he likes dogs that are smaller or the same size as him. My dog is able to spend time at the other house if there would be a problem or I can just bring the pet I’m watching to the other house all together. The cats, however, stay at the house in Greendale.

About: I've been a dog owner my entire life. I'm trained and capable of caring for senior dogs as well as puppies and everything in between. I'll be comfortable with whatever care instructions you provide for your furry friend and will make sure they're 100% happy while in my care. I'm a self employed real estate agent, with plenty of free time and will arrange my schedule surrounding your dogs needs. The only time I wouldn't be available is if I have showings (close to home) which are typically 30-45 minutes long. We have plenty of walking paths around the dog friendly community where I live. Dogs must be on leash. I'm apartment living at the moment, but the dogs are free to roam around indoors and make themselves at home. Dogs are allowed on sofa, in addition to 2 dog beds for them to lounge on (washed before and after each dog visit). I do have a dog crate for large dogs (unused) if that's your preference for bedtime or unsupervised time periods. Side Note: due to restrictions that my management company has in place I’m unable to watch certain breeds at my home. I'm on a fitness kick at the moment and enjoy long walks/runs (3-4 miles per day). Your dog will definitely get the exercise they need while in my care. My apartment community is dog friendly with plenty of walking trails, and Grant Park is an 8 minute drive. So we have options! On rainy days, indoor activities may include doggy paint & snack (see pics in profile), lots of cuddles, and playtime with their favorite toys. During the summer I spend my weekends in Paddock Lake. Dogs are welcome, and I might teach them to swim or kayak.
