About: Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 20 year old college student remotely studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) I have recently owned hamsters and fish as well that were 100% my responsibility. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have 4 years of paid experience with pet sitting for neighbors. Animals deserve the world and I love to make a difference in their lives even if they don’t understand it :) I am also willing to negotiate pricing based off your animals energy/need for attention/etc. Please reach out to me with any additional questions and I’d be happy to answer! I am currently a college student who is taking online courses to work on getting my degree. Other than daily assignments, I have no other daily commitments and will be available 90% of the time, other than my planned unavailability on my calendar! I have a large front and back yard with plenty of room to play. I do have an indoor/outdoor cat but she keeps to herself and is never a bother. I could easily keep her separated from your pet. About: Just a runner training to make the Olympics. I run full time which is fun but doesn’t pay the bills yet. I work and train while coaching on the side. I live in Ballard and have transportation so getting around and taking care of pets isn’t an issue! Love working with all types of animals. House sitting is always fun. I have been house sitting since I was 14 and get asked every so often to fill in and watch the pets while keeping the house clean. Willing to do anything to accommodate and make things as easy as possible for owners! Can’t wait to get started! I’m currently working full time hours, but I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate most pets needs to be fed, walked, or played with I tend to ask questions about what the pets are allowed to do in home so that way I’m not breaking any rules or teaching unwanted habits.

About: I have experience in daycare/boarding settings, i have experience with high drive dogs, I do dog sports with my own personal dog so i am pretty confident in my handling skills. I have done years of research on dog related things some including understanding body language, knowing when a dog is uncomfortable or needs to be removed from a situation, what things are good and what are bad, how to use training tools properly if needed, learning the genetics of dog breeds and just over all temperaments that certain breeds have. I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. I currently am unemployed, i am a stay at home dog mom and aside from the occasional grocery store run i am at home with my dogs. I will care for your pet to the best of my ability and under any instructions that may be given to me. I will care for your pet like they are my own and keep them as safe as possible while under my care!

About: I’ve had experience with rescue animals in my home since my childhood. I began working as a pet sitter and dog walker (babysitter as well!) at 14, which has always been my favorite job! I was able to get a job as a kennel assistant in a veterinary clinic at 16 and worked my way up to a veterinary assistant position. I have dealt with administering medication and other veterinary procedures, and dealing with more special care required animals. I’m a college student taking online and in person courses through the local community college, so I have a pretty open schedule. Working a traditional job in college can be quite stressful, so I’m giving this a try! I have been working in other people’s homes for several years babysitting and pet sitting. I’m happy to clean dishes, take out trash, carry in mail and packages, and any other simple tasks. I always try my best to clean after myself and the fur babies each visit!

“I highly recommend Alaina for overnight, in-home pet-sitting. She stayed in my home to watch my adult reactive dog for three days. I received consistent, proactive updates throughout her stay on how my dog was doing and what he was up to without me needing to ask. She even let me know when he had positive experiences with triggers. My dog has a strict routine because of his behavioral problems, and she kept him on his routine very closely and made sure to let me know ahead of time if/when her schedule conflicted with accommodating his normal routine. Upon my return, it is clear that she took good care of my home and space as well as my dog. He has been his normal self ever since I returned from my trip, which was a huge concern for me. About: I, myself, own a senior dog and look after her well. I dog sit for family and friends when need be. I have also shadowed at a Veterinary office and work at one as well. I’m completely free every day until I leave for college on August 20th, so I can give your pets my full attention Monday through Sunday; walks, playtime, and all their care need I make sure that they get used to me first before jumping into caring for them. I allow them to realize I am trustworthy and here to feed them and love them.

About: I work at Banfield in Newport News as a vet assistant. I currently have a senior dachshund named Leo who’s great with other dogs and cats. My work schedule varies month to month. I can walk dogs or take care of pets in your home if my work schedule allows, or I can board in my house (dog friendly dogs/cats or small animals). I also have years of experience medicating dogs, cats, and small animals, and can trim nails on dogs and cats. I work 10 hour shifts, 4 days a week at Banfield. It varies each week but I do get a monthly schedule each month. I usually get my monthly schedule at the beginning of the previous month I usually take my dog out every 3-4 hours to go potty while I’m home. If your dog has a routine he/she follows, let me know and I can accommodate!
