About: Hi! My name is Kirsten, and I am such a big animal lover. Thank you for considering me to take care your loved one(s). I can’t wait to meet them! Photos posted on my profile are of all the furry friends that I love taking care of here on Rover, and also two of my own (Maya and Maui) 🥰 A little about me is — I love to be outdoors and staying active (especially with our fur-littles) when not behind a desk. I love to go hiking, kayaking, fishing, zip-lining and just about anything that gets me outside. I have many years of experience with house training and working with young/old pups and kittens of all breeds, also with deafness and blindness. I am also a nurse and animal-CPR certified with the American Red Cross. So, administering oral, optic and subcutaneous prescription medications, and/or chest compressions is all well within my comfort zone. I work a flexible day job where I am able to work from home most days of the week, Mon-Fri, 7-3:30. Mornings and afternoons/evenings work great for me, however, I am always willing to see what I can do. 😊 I will always allow the opportunity for a meet and greet, so your pets are most comfortable with me from day one! When it’s time for potty breaks, I’ll always ensure safety and the opportunity for exercise. Fresh water and litter are also a high priority of mine while in my care. I try to go above and beyond for their needs and safety!

“Thank you Megan for staying at our home and taking such good care of our furkids while we were away for a long weekend. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.”

About: I live in a happy chaos-filled home with one very social pup, two energetic kiddos, and a whole lot of love (and dog hair). If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat for your pet… well, I can’t promise that. But if your dog loves playtime, belly rubs, and beach days? You’ve found the right spot! We live just steps away from a park and spend most of our summer outdoors. Long walks, sniffari adventures, and sunny snoozes in the grass are kind of our thing. I am fortunate to have a full time position that allows for a lot of flexibility. I am not constrained to typical 9-5 office hours, so midday treat breaks are always an option! I am big on nutrition and exercise. i think it’s important to get your pets out and active. i care for pets the way i care for children, lots of cuddles and love and even more time to play.

“Your fur babies are in excellent hands with Kirsten! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary away from home for a full week, and when we returned, our dog and cat were healthy and happy. Kirsten is an animal lover, and all around great person, we were so pleased with how she cared for our pets. Highly recommend!”

Hailey R.
“Hailey has an incredible love for dogs. She has had dogs most of her life and she is great at taking care of them. She loves spending time with them, playing with them, walking them, and cuddling with them. Whenever we see a dog her face lights up. She is just a person who was meant to have a dog. Her current circumstances prevent her from having one, so this is the next best thing. Hailey would be awesome at this job”

Glenwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Harlie was great with our four dogs. We had her house sit while we got married. Was semi stressful as it was right after Christmas. Dogs were already anxious with family being over for the holidays. She got them to all calm down and be back to their normal selves after we left the house. Was attentive to responding to any questions I had and sent lots of photos of the fur gang. Would ask to watch them again in the future!
