“Loren was great! This was my first time using Rover and she made the experience super easy. She was very flexible, quick to respond, and sent daily updates and photos! Would absolutely book again :)”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have several years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I grew up with a black lab, a beagle, and a grey tabby cat, so caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I’ve worked as a boarding manager and at a structured dog daycare focused on creating calm, positive environments for dogs. This gave me experience reading dog body language and understanding different personalities, from high-energy pups to shy or anxious pets. I also volunteer at a local rescue, which has helped me build patience and trust with animals who need a little extra care, including senior or nervous pets. I’m confident handling multiple dogs, maintaining routines, and making sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I always make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I provide regular updates and photos, and I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. ✍️Quick Highlights • Experience with cats & dogs of all ages and temperaments • Former boarding manager and dog daycare worker • Comfortable with shy, anxious, senior, and high-energy pets • Able to reinforce basic training • Work from home with a flexible schedule • Frequent updates and photos 🐶💕Care Style & Training I treat every pet like they’re my own and focus on keeping their routine calm and consistent. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medications, and house rules, and I respect both your home and your pet’s boundaries.

“Definitely the best!! Cares for my pup like it’s her own, very respectful and great communication. Meet and greet was amazing, she took notes and asked questions :) I have absolutely no regrets and we will definitely have her again in the future! :)”

About: On my 13th birthday I got a puppy and I have been an avid dog lover since. I house-trained him, stayed up with him when he was crying, and taught him lots of tricks! Since then, I have always had some sort of animal in my house, whether it be a dog, cat, or hedgehog! Due to my known love for ALL critters, I have been a dependable pet sitter for many folks throughout the years. Whether it be friends, extended family, or even friends of a friend - I have been trusted to love and care for many animals. *IMPORTANT NOTE* Right now I am only booking house-sitting gigs where I can bring my senior chihuahua with me. When you send me a message, let me know what works for you so that we may set up a meet & greet! I primarily dogsit and have a supplemental part-time job. This flexibility allows me to work with you and your pet to make sure they are getting the maximum amount of attention and love. I will love your pet like my own. I like to send daily updates with photos to not only quell your worries, but so that you can see your creature is doing well. I WILL be prioritizing jobs where I can bring my dog with me. I understand in some circumstances, it will not be a good fit for her to come with me, which is understandable.
About: I grew up around all types of pets, from dogs to birds to lizards to cats. For as long as I've known, I've fed bearded dragons crickets and ran alongside happy pups. I absolutely love animals, and am happy and willing to work within any routines and structures pre-set for your pets. As a recent college graduate, my time is very flexible - I'm available for whenever you need me. I'm dedicated to clear and open communication about my time. Providing you and your pet with the least stressful pet care experience possible is my goal. I'd love to meet your pet, learn their routines, quirks, and learn anything that's required for their care and your peace of mind.
“Linda provided excellent care for my cat while I was away and was very good about sending photos and videos. I will definitely hire Linda again to check in on my cat.”

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. I even took care of my senior childhood dog. I now have two dachshunds of my own. I also did some cat and dog sitting in high school. I love to go on walks and am looking forward to meeting new pet friends! I am currently working at Target as many hours as I can. My schedule is inconsistent and changes week from week. However, I’m willing to work around my work schedule to book with pets! I can take dogs out as much as needed, feed them, take them on walks, and play with them! Every pet is different! I will tend to their needs.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I grew up with three dogs and now live with three cats—one’s mine, and the other two are my siblings’ (but they basically think I’m in charge 😎). I’ve helped care for pets of friends, family, and neighbors over the years, including walking dogs, feeding, playtime, and even overnight stays. I also completed an internship at Prince George’s Animal Shelter, where I got hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all personalities and needs. From playful pups to shy senior pets, I know how to adjust and make each one feel loved and safe. Whether it’s cuddles, walks, feedings, or giving meds, I’ve got it covered! Taking care of animals is already part of my everyday life—I live with three cats, so feeding, cleaning, cuddling, and making sure everyone’s happy is part of the routine. I work just five minutes away from home, which makes it super easy for me to pop in for check-ins, walks, or drop-in visits throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning, midday, or evening care, I can usually make it work without stress. Pet care just fits naturally into my schedule—I love it and honestly wouldn’t have it any other way! Whether your pet is staying at my home or I’m coming to yours, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved—like part of the family. At my house, I have space (fenced yard, catio, and nearby park) for your dog or cat to relax, play, and feel at home, plus I follow their usual routines (meals, potty breaks, meds, etc.) to help them settle in with less stress. My pets are friendly and used to having furry guests around! If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make sure to follow your instructions closely and keep things just how they’re used to—whether that’s specific feeding times, favorite toys, walks, or just being there for company. I always give updates and photos so you know your pet is in good hands while you’re away.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Glenwood. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
