About: We are a family of 3 who live in the Gig Harbor/Purdy area. Our home is located on 2.4 acres with open grass areas and a fenced area if your dog prefers to be outside. **Note: fenced area is currently undergoing some summer cleanup so dogs are not left unattended in the yard at this time. We provide a designated doggy sleeping area inside our home which includes a soft doggie bed. We will make sure your pet gets a lot of outdoor time taking walks with us. I also make homemade, healthy doggie treats to spoil them while they are vacationing with us. Your pet will be treated as if he/she was our own pet and will have plenty of playtime and attention. We love dogs and want them to feel at home in our country setting. Also we are not a large kennel, so we only have 2-4 dogs at one time which allows us to give each dog plenty of time and attention and keep things mellow for the dogs and us. We do have our own doggie Willow. She just turned 5 in July. She does well playing with dogs of all sizes. She has made many dog friends through my daycare. *Due to restrictions of our homeowners insurance, certain breeds are not accepted at this time.* I am home all day to watch and play with your pet. I rarely leave but when I sometimes have to leave for short periods, your dog will be very comfortable in our large dog crates with comfortable padded beds. Our family loves dogs and your pet will receive alot of attention and exercise. During the day they can be outside playing in the fenced area (**see above) or just hang out inside with our family, and in the evenings all dogs sleep inside the house with us. We do use crates at night for dogs that are used to that and we provide soft dog bedding in the crates. Dogs that do not prefer crates sleep on dog beds in our bedrooms so they never feel alone.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. While I was in the Marine Corps I watched my superiors dogs and cat when they were away on leave. I have had dogs my whole life and I currently have two right now. They are both a year old and fully potty trained. I love taking my dogs outdoors to explore and I would do the same with yours. I am currently going to college but I only go twice a week so I have plenty of time for your pups and cats. I only go to school for about 2 hours a week, other than that k spend my time with my dogs and exploring outdoors. I live in a Apartment so I cannot watch dogs in my own home, but I can do drop-ins in your home, take your dogs one walks and little adventures if you allow. Definitely some pup cups every now and then!
About: I have always loved animals and dogs have a special place in my heart (I'm the girl that stops dead in her tracks to point out EVERY dog I see to whoever I am out with). My family had dogs and cats growing up, and I’ve always been the go to person for family and friends to help out with their babies. I'm a very active person, so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise while they are with me. I'm also very flexible so I am more than happy to satisfy any needs or special treatment! I’m currently a full-time student, taking classes online, so my schedule is extremely open! My days are very flexible and I am happy to make adjustments to fit the needs of my clients. About: Brad and I both have enjoyed our own cat family members and those of others, all our lives. I love how each kitty and doggy has its own personality and marvel at how they are such a gift frim God to us humans! We also look forward to raising some travel funds! We love animals especially cats, love to play with them and pet them, and are very practical and responsible with the instructions in their care. We have had many cats before, usually ones that were destined to be outdoor cats. We know that cats that live primarily indoors tend to live longer. Kaelyn was great with 'things that came up', such as time changes for us both. We had a lot of communication, which I very much appreciate. Our littlest one was SO happy, playful, relaxed - it is easy to tell from the photos that she got to do all of her favorite things, and she loved on Kaelyn. She was super loving when we came home. Everything was clean and in its proper place.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
