About: I’ve been working with animals for 15 years, caring for dogs, cats, birds. I have handled breeds that are small to very large. I am available for walking, dog park visits, bathing them is optional, and I am open to any breed. I have always been great with pets, we have 3 of our own who are amazing with everyone and other animals. I am very flexible with my schedule. I love to ensure they are getting their exercise as needed, as well as a well rounded diet. I am a stay at home mom so I am very happy to be with them however they require. We use leashes and harnesses for outside. We have a dog park close by that’s fenced in and safe for giving them running time and ability to play freely

“Our family has a senior dog, Mr. Barkley, and I can't stress enough how important he is to us. In the past, he has been really upset about being left behind when we leave on a trip, so I was quite nervous about being gone for a whole week. I'm so glad that we met Laura and that she was able to stay at our house caring for him. He has specific medications and feedings that need to be given at various times as well as mobility issues that require certain walk times and patience. In addition to showing great kindness and affection to our sweet boy, she was able to accommodate his needs, made it clear she understood the plan with questions before we left and kept us in the loop with photos and updates throughout our absence. When we came home, the house was perfect and Mr. Barkley was content. We feel comfortable asking her help in the future which makes traveling much more enjoyable!”

Jay was very responsive to my request for a home stay, and offered a meet and greet in our home at our convenience. He and his wife were just lovely and they asked all the right questions - so we knew off the bat that our girls would be just fine while we were away! We got regular updates and pictures while we were gone and when we came home our two dogs and cat were just as happy and healthy as reported :) I think they might have even been a little disappointed to see us instead of Jay! About: I’ve had a LOT of animals throughout my life to include fish, birds, dogs, chinchilla, guinea pigs, horses, goats and pigs. Ive been in the situation of needing a fur baby sitter while having to travel. I currently have 5 dogs and a cat. I’m in the process of creating a dog haven in my big back yard and have an air conditioned inside play/rest area for hot days. I work from home and have an open schedule. I travel some but I can usually adjust it when needed. Last minute requests for weekends are sometimes doable. I have five dogs so I do not stay overnight. I take my dogs on hikes almost daily, weather permitting. We also go shopping at pet friendly stores. I can do one on one visits or your pup can be part of the pack.
