About: I’ve taken care of pets for my co-workers and friends for the past several years while they traveled out of town for an extended amount of time. I make sure to check-in every day, feed them, and make sure they get enough attention. I am raising money for marathons I have signed up for over the next year. I’m preparing to run the Marine Corps Marathon and aim to run the Boston Marathon. I usually work evenings from 3-11pm Wednesdays through Sundays and I will have time to take care of your pet in the mornings before I get ready for work. When I am in charge of your pet, I make sure sure they have the food the need to remain healthy, give them a walk when they need it, and provide them with enough attention.

About: I have been walking and dog sitting since I was 14 years old. I love all kinds of dogs, big and small! There isn’t a time I won’t stop and ask someone if I can pet their dog while walking past on the street. Over the past 6 years I have done frequent dog sitting within each dog’s home. I love getting to stay where the dog is already comfortable and they are able to stay within a familiar environment! I absolutely love getting to know each and every dog’s personality and matching their energy. Whether it is a super active hyper pup, or a chill and laid back older pup, I have worked with many different personalities and needs and I will meet them where they need me to be! I am physically able to keep up with high energy dogs, you name it I can keep up with it. Connecting with a dog is one of the greatest feelings and I have developed a bond with each dog that I have cared for and love them as if they are my own! I am currently working part-time for this upcoming school year while searching for a full-time teaching role for next year. The 2025-2026 school year I will be substituting when needed as well as working an aftercare program from 2-6pm. If scheduled to care for a dog in your home or taking them for a walk I can devote my time to them during the day and can be flexible with my substituting schedule! If I am caring for your pet they will be my first priority and I can work things out around their schedule. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priority! I will follow their usual routine as provided and ensure that they are feeling cared for and safe. I will spend quality time playing, cuddling, or simply being present with your pet to help reduce any stress of you being away from them. I will take your dog for their usual walks and follow any specific instructions regarding your pets limitations or needs/energy level/desired walking distance. Follow specific feeding instructions as well as refreshing water when needed. I love to send updates and photos of the pet if the owner would like that! I also make it a point to monitor the pet closely to recognize any changes in behavior or ability, and get in touch with the appropriate contact immediately. If staying at your home I can also bring in mail/water plants/follow other home instructions if desired!

About: I’ve always loved dogs, cats, birds, rodent pals and scaly friends too. I cared for parakeets and hamsters throughout my childhood, and I finally had the chance to raise a puppy during 2020, which came with all the experience of good dog ownership! I’m a thorough and conscientious owner, keeping my buddy clean, healthy, exercised, entertained, and spoiled to boot! I’ve received multiple professional balanced-training sessions along with hundreds of hours of my own experience raising a very intelligent and independent hound mix, so I am intimately familiar with many training techniques and proper use of training tools when needed. I always try to do what’s best for my buddy, and I hope to do the same for your furry family! I am currently working seasonally and participating in various gig work opportunities, so I am available at all crazy hours and days of the week as needed. Just give me some notice ahead and account for travel time, and I’ll make it happen! I take impeccable care of my own dog, and you can expect me to do the same for your buddies. I regularly bathe and groom my dog by hand, only feed the best foods and treats, spend tons of time playing, exercising, and training, and then tidy and clean as needed to keep our home safe and sanitary. I treat my dog like I would a kid: plenty of enrichment, a consistent schedule, fair and reasonable house rules, and do whatever I can to keep him happy and healthy.

About: I have owned and been around dogs and cats my whole life. I started out working with small animals when I volunteered at the Connecticut Audubon Society when I was a child and teenager. I also worked at PetSmart in the their Pet Hotel doing doggy daycare. While there, I walked, fed, cleaned up after, and watched over groups of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have also volunteered with Protectors of Animals at their cat shelter for about 2 years now. I have worked with cats of all ages and temperaments. My schedule is very open at the moment. I am able to check up on animals multiple times throughout a weekday and am also available on weekends. I am available to take care of pets in your home, whether you just need me to feed them and let them out a few times a day, or if your pet needs someone to stay with them for longer periods of time. I have reliable transportation in case of emergency. I am comfortable giving pills, but I am not trained on giving injections.
