About: I have owned and been around dogs and cats my whole life. I started out working with small animals when I volunteered at the Connecticut Audubon Society when I was a child and teenager. I also worked at PetSmart in the their Pet Hotel doing doggy daycare. While there, I walked, fed, cleaned up after, and watched over groups of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have also volunteered with Protectors of Animals at their cat shelter for about 2 years now. I have worked with cats of all ages and temperaments. My schedule is very open at the moment. I am able to check up on animals multiple times throughout a weekday and am also available on weekends. I am available to take care of pets in your home, whether you just need me to feed them and let them out a few times a day, or if your pet needs someone to stay with them for longer periods of time. I have reliable transportation in case of emergency. I am comfortable giving pills, but I am not trained on giving injections.

About: I grew up in a household with many pets of all kinds, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter, worked in a pet store, and even worked with some exotic animals too. I’m comfortable around animals and I work hard to insure they feel safe and active with me. I am able to read a pet’s body language and communicate well both verbally and nonverbally. Every animal is different and has their own unique personality, and it’s a joy and reward to get to know each one. I have a flexible schedule and have experience long term housesitting (up to a month at a time). I work for myself so I can be really flexible with availability. I am happy to be able to tailor my care to your pet and their usual routines. I follow all instructions given to me on pet/home care. I treat the animals and home as if they were my own. I am a neat & tidy person, generally a homebody in the evenings, and I am a respectful sitter of both my clients and their lovely pets.

About: I have a Yorkshire Terrier who is becoming a senior dog. I have cared and walked multiple dogs of various ages for about 3 years now. I am currently an unemployed college student, so taking care of both cats and dogs is my part and full time job depending on the day. I never want to do something that the owner doesn’t like, so I always make sure to follow instructions provided by the owner for their pets safety. No matter what, I always make sure to keep the owner updated on anything positive or negative. Just like putting packages away if there is any, I like to do the smallest things to ensure that not only the owners pets are safe, but to make sure their place is perfect too!

About: I have been walking and dog sitting since I was 14 years old. I love all kinds of dogs, big and small! There isn’t a time I won’t stop and ask someone if I can pet their dog while walking past on the street. Over the past 6 years I have done frequent dog sitting within each dog’s home. I love getting to stay where the dog is already comfortable and they are able to stay within a familiar environment! I absolutely love getting to know each and every dog’s personality and matching their energy. Whether it is a super active hyper pup, or a chill and laid back older pup, I have worked with many different personalities and needs and I will meet them where they need me to be! I am physically able to keep up with high energy dogs, you name it I can keep up with it. Connecting with a dog is one of the greatest feelings and I have developed a bond with each dog that I have cared for and love them as if they are my own! I am currently working part-time for this upcoming school year while searching for a full-time teaching role for next year. The 2025-2026 school year I will be substituting when needed as well as working an aftercare program from 2-6pm. If scheduled to care for a dog in your home or taking them for a walk I can devote my time to them during the day and can be flexible with my substituting schedule! If I am caring for your pet they will be my first priority and I can work things out around their schedule. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priority! I will follow their usual routine as provided and ensure that they are feeling cared for and safe. I will spend quality time playing, cuddling, or simply being present with your pet to help reduce any stress of you being away from them. I will take your dog for their usual walks and follow any specific instructions regarding your pets limitations or needs/energy level/desired walking distance. Follow specific feeding instructions as well as refreshing water when needed. I love to send updates and photos of the pet if the owner would like that! I also make it a point to monitor the pet closely to recognize any changes in behavior or ability, and get in touch with the appropriate contact immediately. If staying at your home I can also bring in mail/water plants/follow other home instructions if desired!

About: I’ve been taking care of animals for quite some time. I’ve had cats in my life since the age of 10 who have been house cats that I’ve taken care of, and I’ve personally only owned one dog but I helped with my neighbors dog when he was a puppy and walked him almost every day. I can’t wait to expand my experience here on Rover though! I work part-time on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays! On Tuesdays and Thursdays I do have college but my schedule may change depending on how long I keep my current job! I care for pets in my clients home by making sure they get the proper exercise, take their medication (if applicable), get fed on time, and give them all the attention they need!

Liz K.
“While my husband and I were away in California, Liz house-sat for us and took incredible care of everything—our home, our cat, our birds, and even our fish. Knowing she was there gave us such peace of mind. She was thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely caring with all of our animals, each with their own little quirks and routines. We came home to a spotless house and happy pets. I truly can’t recommend Liz highly enough—she’s trustworthy, kind-hearted, and goes above and beyond. We’re so lucky to have had her”

Victoria H.
“Tori is amazing with pets and has cared for our dog, Macey, on numerous occasions from taking her outside on my long days at work to week long stays. Macey has a touch of anxiety and can sometimes be challenging, such as not eating when we’re not around. On at least one occasion, Tori actually hand fed Macey to ensure she was getting something to eat while we were on vacation. Tori also runs around with Macey when she’s watching her, plays with her, snuggles her, and takes amazing pictures of her to send me while I’m away. Tori truly cares for other animals as if they were her own and I trust her fully with Macey.”
