“This was our first time using Rover and Kathleen was a life saver. We needed a pet sitter last minute after Petsmart cancelled our reservation a day before our trip. Kathleen responded quickly to our last minute request and helped accommodate us. She sent us so many pictures during the sitting assuring us our “first born” was safe and hanging out with her new friends. Our 12 year old Shorkie is very attached to us and normally shuts down around strangers but she seemed extremely comfortable and excited to hang out with Kathleen and her family. Thank you again so much!”

“Nathalia is such an awesome dog sitter.I had boarded my 1.3yr old mini golden doodle with Nathalia this past weekend and my doodle had a great time with her, her dogs and couple of other dogs she was hosting. She sent me pics and videos where I saw Zoe happy ,running and playing with her play mates. From the conversations I have had with Nathalia and Zoe”s day care experience it was so evident that she is such a dog lover. I felt so warm and comfortable leaving Zoe with her. She is the best sitter I have experienced so far on Rover .If I travel to NJ again , I’m definitely going to take her service for Zoe without any doubt or need to look for any other sitter. I had some last minute changes in my travel plan where I had to cancel one days booking for Zoe and Natalia was so accommodating . She asked me to go ahead and cancel the booking without any compensation for the loss she had due to my booking cancellation.Thank you Nathalia for hosting Zoe and giving her a great care ?? XOXO - Zoe ?”

About: My family and I have been taking care of dogs on and off for 15 years. Our dog has had two litters totaling 23 (Creampuff Labradoodle is the breeder) which we have hosted in our home as they grew up. We love nature, being outdoors, and all things animal related! We host play dates at our home often and our pup enjoys the company. Things to note: we are a busy household and have three children. We are in and out throughout the day but never for long periods of time when watching pups. Visiting dogs must be comfortable around my dog and children. I will always do a meet and greet before taking a dog in. Must know basic training skills and be clean upon arrival, and be house trained. Things to bring for day care/boarding: Bed, water and food bowls, crate. If a crate is not an option then we can use our gated corral. They are able to have free rein over house, I am fine with that but as a safety precaution or for use when we leave I prefer to have an option to contain the pups. I have toys, towels, and treats. If any signs of aggression are shown or excessive behaviors I will ask if I can gently train your dog with a sound device. I have used this on my own dog and it works great as a non invasive tool if unpredictable circumstances arise. Our back yard is fenced and we take extra care at our front door and can block the foyer with an extra gate for safety. I own a photography business so I make my own schedule. If I am away from the house, it is not for long at all and I do all my editing from my home office. I am flexible and accommodating to various needs. I have a fully fenced back yard. We have a gate for leaving uncreated dogs in if we run out for a bit. It can block off the foyer area or be set up by the deck door for views of the yard.

“I always choose Aleja for my dog Casper as I trust her cause when I see my dog so happy when I pick him up and the way she handles him is so well. She always sends me his pictures and text me time to time. I definitely recommend everyone to try her with her pets she's amazing in what she does. 👍”

“Jaylene took great care of my boy and kept me updated while he was there. This was super last minute and I'm thrilled that I found someone nearby! Will definitely recommend to pet parents I know. Porkchop made some friends and he will be returning soon!”

About: My family and I are animal lovers! We have one dog of our own who we love and care for and she LOVES to play with other doggie friends! I have dog sat for about 15+ years for personal friends and family as well as many dogs here on Rover. All of our children love dogs and we create a loving and caring family environment. We have a large backyard in a family oriented town. Our yard is not fenced, but there is plenty of room for dogs we watch to run around and play. My children take part in caring for the dogs we sit and like to give them lots of extra hugs and love. We also enjoy going on lots of walks! We can’t wait to give your dog a warm, friendly home away from home! I am work from home, so I am available to be present for your dog. He/she will have someone around almost at all times. If we have to run out for anything, if your dog does not chew and is trained, he/she can have run of our home. We have one very friendly dog to keep yours company. I have plenty of room in the house for a crate if necessary. If medications are necessary, I am able to administer that. Our yard is not fenced, however we have a long lead where he/she can have plenty of room to run around. Our family will be present at all times when your dog is outside.

“Milo had the best time with Kiara and her dog Chase. Kiara was so loving with Milo and sent pics to keep me updated on Milo’s day. Definitely recommend and can’t wait to have Milo stay again.”

We love both dogs and cats! We have a home with a fenced yard. We have small children who are also gentle and have had pets around since they were born. We’d love to watch your pets! We can send pictures, have potty breaks often, go to dog parks, accommodate to your pets needs. :) Lucy is at home throughout the day so she will be mostly watching your pet during their stay. Hopefully your pup or cat is okay to be alone for 1-3 hours while I’m out running errands on some days. Our home has a baby gate that separates our rooms and bathrooms from rest of the home, our cats are most of the time in our room area. All pets are allowed everywhere, but will mostly be in the living room/kitchen area. You are more than welcome to come see the house before deciding to leave them with us. :)

Every dog is different, and I customize my care to what works best for them! I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of companionship throughout the day. My life revolves around dogs 24/7, with most of my work consisting of Zoom meetings and training sessions. If I do leave, it’s only for 1-2 hours max—but even then, I have a live video camera set up so I can keep an eye on your pup. It even lets me talk to them and dispense treats! Whether they need playtime, enrichment, or a cozy spot to relax, they’ll always have the care and attention they deserve. When your dog stays with me, they become part of the family! “When you have a new puppy, trusting an unfamiliar person or service can feel overwhelming. We were lucky to have found Liz to tend to Milo for doggy daycare 4 days a week. Not only did Liz take care of him, but Liz and her dogs helped Milo become more social and build confidence. What sets Liz apart is her genuine love for animals and her professionalism. Liz always puts the dogs' well-being first, and if anything ever affects our schedule, Liz communicates clearly and with plenty of notice. Liz is incredibly reliable, consistent, and trustworthy. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your dog as if they were their own, and give you real peace of mind I highly recommend reaching out to Liz.”
