About: Love talking to animals and figuring out their language. Sometimes it’s a way a cat rubs against you or a dog smells your feet love I have weekends open enough I could spend a night w a furry little person or a flexible work week to check in on a loved furry or scaly friend for water food and petting. I am a gardener biker and outdoor person rain or shine so a long walk in a rail trail fits in my schedule When watching my clients chickens outside I checked on their hen house and cleaned it out put in new hay and make sure they got food and water twice a day but at least one free range walk

I treat every pet like part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I’m a stay at home mom of 2 wonderful animal adoring children. Because I’m home throughout the day, your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care. During their stay, your pet will experience all the best parts of our family just as if they were our own. When caring for your pets in a clients home, I do my best to adhere to all routines and schedules so the pets can feel as comfortable as possible. I will respect your home and keep everything clean, organized, and calm. I’m more than happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away. About: Hello! My partner and I have dog-sat for friends many times, but the request doesn’t come frequently enough! We’re happy to host your pet and treat it as if it were our own. We work nearby our apartment and can walk your dog during the day. We are fine with pets on our furniture and in our bed, but will respect any training you have in place. We’ll joyfully take your pet on long walks and adhere to feeding schedules. I have trained my family dogs in the past, and are happy to teach your pup a few new tricks! We ask for well-behaved, house-trained dogs OR crate-trained provided you have a crate. We’ll adore your pet completely while you’re away with all the attention you would provide to be sure it doesn’t get too lonely without you! Happy to send through photo updates so you can sleep easy knowing they’re in good hands. I have been working from home and accommodate just about every dog’s schedule! Generally, most of the dogs we sit are walked 2-4 times a day and fed twice. We have a spacious and secure 2 bedroom aparment and are generally home all week, with lots of lounging around on the weekends as well. We always prioritize your pet’s needs above all else and will comply with their typical schedule.

About: I would love to take your dog for a walk or hike in and around the Woodstock area. I have many years of experience owning dogs and cats, and dog and cat sitting for friends since I was a kid. I have also spent time walking dogs at animal shelters and am trained in pet first aid and cpr. I love big dogs, little dogs and anything in between :) I'm usually available during the day and some evenings and weekends. I love to hike and would also be happy to hike with your dog. I'm passionate about health and wellness and natural living. I'm originally from the UK but have been living in NY for over a decade. I live in the Woodstock area with my two daughters, our two rescue dogs and our rescue kitten. I’m usually out walking dogs in the morning and working from home in the afternoons. My dogs love to play with other pups and we enjoy going on long walks or taking care of pets in our home. I’m also available for drop in visits at your home, or for your dogs to stay at our home while you are away. I always keep dogs on the leash and make sure we get plenty of time outside. I have plenty of dog toys and beds in the house for playing and naps.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

About: We have raised a dog from puppy to senior and are comfortable with all ages of dogs. We love going for walks and playing in our backyard. And we have a special fondness for Pit Bulls! I currently work from home and am able to watch a dog any day of the week. My husband is also flexible with his schedule. We have a fenced yard and live near a field for wonderful walks. We have a crate and basket of dog toys, dog blankets and love to surround a dog with love.

About: I genuinely love all animals! If I could have 10 dogs, I would. Over the last 15 years I’ve cared for family and friends pets whenever needed, welcoming them into my home or visiting theirs. I love small dogs, big dogs, high energy dogs or low. I can adapt to almost any pets needs, frequent walks, extra snuggles, administer medicines, providing treats, and extra attention. I can’t wait to snuggle and spoil your fur baby. I lost my greater swiss mountain dog in July of 2024, and quickly realized life without a dog wasn’t for me. I adopted a new pup in October. We are excited to welcome your pup into the mix! I’m a teacher with all summer off, so I have unlimited flexibility during the summer months (July and August). During the school year, I work 7am-3pm on weekdays. My yard is unfenced, but your pup will be offered frequent walks and potty breaks. My dog and I spend hours of time outside every day. We walk the trails in our neighborhood and often go to local parks to explore different places. I typically follow your every directive because all dogs needs are different. If you tell me your dog doesn’t enjoy the heat of the summer, we will be couch potatoes in the air conditioning.
