About: Over the years, I’ve become the go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors, trusted to handle everything from daily walks to feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love and attention. I have experience with energetic puppies, laid-back seniors, and even dogs with specific dietary or medical needs. About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had at dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I've boarded pets for friends and family, the longest was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. They moved with me to CO and we enjoyed the mountains and front range together. I drove cross-country many times with my dogs, stayed in hotels and visited friends and family with them. My dogs are always a priority in all we do and I will care for your pups as I do mine. Be assured that I will follow any special instructions you give to provide your pet a safe, happy, stress-free stay. I recently rescued a deaf puppy who was in the middle of the road, and took care of her until a new, loving home was secured. I checked on her later and she is happy with her people and dog family. I am retired and always home. I spend my days gardening, cooking, squirrel and bird-watching, making greeting cards, and cleaning house and property. My two dogs are with me the entire day. We will give your pup lots of company and love. I prefer to sit for one client at a time and max two dogs at a time. I look forward to meeting you and your pups. It's a good day any day that you meet new friends with fur. They bring joy to life. I have a 1/2 acre and a huge fenced yard for play and romping. Your dog will not be put outside for any length of time without my oversight. I am frequently out in the yard, relaxing, weeding, planting and pruning. Safety is number one and focused, pleasant care are my priorities. I want to be sure that the pups have my undivided attention. My two small dogs and I will give your pup lots of company assuring that he or she is acclimated and gets to know us. Our home is comfortable and happy. Does your pup enjoy endless belly rubs? Mine do and I have plenty to share. I prefer to sit for one client and max two dogs at a time. Photos of your pup's day are provided, if requested. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them one treat after their meals. I will feed your dogs at the time of day you prefer. We will only give your pup treats that you provide. I will follow your feeding schedule and administer meds if needed. My early career was 20 years as a hospital clinical laboratory scientist and then as a director. I've medicated my dogs and horses and given shots, so I know all the techniques needed to administer meds for your dog. Be assured, I recognize a dog's body language if in pain, stressed, or sick and will notify you immediately of any serious issues. I will follow your instructions if vet services are needed. My senior dog, Vivvie requires a special diet, so I make homemade dog food, veterinarian approved. No table scraps for her or for dogs in my care.

About: Please take a moment to read this before you send a doggy daycare request: **Doggy Daycare/Pack walks** Any pups that are dog friendly and trained on and off leash can attend. Your pup joins other well mannered pups on a weekly walk/adventure. We explore new places, practice proper socialization skills, and practice real world training experiences, This is offered Monday-Friday and a minimum of three days per week is required. Drop off/pick up services included! - Growing up I always had a cat or dog around. I have also taken care of countless of dogs and cats along the way- whether they were a stray I picked up, a family’s, friend’s, or neighbor’s. I’ve always had a passion for animals more specifically dogs. For three years I worked at a dog training/boarding facility as a kennel technician and a trainer. I was taught how to efficiently care for 25+ dogs at a time in a kennel environment. My responsibilities included taking dogs outside at specific times, feeding, administering medication, prioritizing safety, keeping kennels, and the dogs clean. Within the first couple of months working as a kennel technician I quickly developed a love for dog training and soon was promoted and worked as a trainer at the facility. I learned multiple ways to teach dogs different skills, work through behavioral issues, and how to better help owners understand and communicate with their dogs. From there I went on to work at a local dog park/bar for just about three years as well. I closely monitored the dogs in the park to make sure they were playing in a fair and safe manner. I had to be able to read the dogs in the park and deescalate possible tension between dogs to prevent any scuffles or accidents. After the dog park closed I have gotten back into dog training again and have recently started a pack walking service. I’ve also been here on rover since 2022! As of right now I’m doing Rover full time! However I do run a structured pack walk with dogs I’ve trained or have received previous training in the mornings and I also train Board and trains at my house/on pack walks. My schedule is open for early morning drop ins/walks, mid day, and evenings. I can do drop ins multiple times a day but please keep in mind I do not stay overnight. I can board your pup(s) overnight at my house if they have received training previously by another trainer or if they have been trained by me. I provide loving care in the comfort of your pet’s own space! When we leave for trips or go to work it can often cause our pets to feel anxious or stressed and taking them away from the home they find most comforting can often worsen these feelings, especially in very chaotic environments like conventional boarding facilities. By keeping them in their own environment it can be more comforting than boarding them away from your home. This may also be more comforting for you too! For boarding your pup must be kennel trained for when I briefly the house and for meal times! However if your pup is boarding with me they will usually be out free roaming with my pups while I’m home and they will join me on my weekly pack walks as well! Safety and comfort are my top priority when it comes to pet sitting. Finding someone you can trust is very hard. I will try my very best to keep you as updated as possible by sending as many photos as I can as well as on every rover drop in card I will leave a description about what we did during the drop in so you aren’t left hanging! On walks I will do everything in my power to make sure your dog is safe and gets the time they need to sniff, explore, and do their business. I can drop in a few times a day if you are out of town or if you work long shifts and you’d prefer your pup to stay at home. I drop by and give potty breaks,food, water, play time, exercise, whatever your best friend may need I will try my best to provide it!

About: I've had dogs all my life. Our sweet old Bella didn't get along with other pets. We know the challenge of finding care for a selective dog. Since Bella passed away this summer, our home is now empty. Our family is ready to care for your dog. We have a great fenced yard and four children (9, 5, 3 and 1.5 as of Feb 2025) who know how to treat animals with gentleness and respect. I'm home nearly all the time to give your pet full-time care and attention. I am a full time Mom. I homeschool and raise four kids. We are active at home throughout the week playing inside and out in the fenced back yard. We have an awesome fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks. We will host one pet/family at a time to best care for selective dogs.

We have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor play and potty breaks. Inside, we have a designated dog room with air conditioning to keep pups cool and comfortable. If needed, we also have an extra room to separate dogs for rest, feeding, or personal space. We’re crate-friendly and can crate your dog upon request or according to their routine. Our home is both dog and toddler safe, with no access to hazardous items or unsafe areas. We treat every dog like part of the family, using gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love and attention. We require a meet and greet before bookings to make sure all pups get along and feel comfortable. We want the experience to be a great fit for everyone. We’re also committed to keeping you updated with regular messages and photos so you feel confident and connected while you’re away.
