Missy’s stay with them was literally a doggy vacation with a Giant yard to play in, long walks, huge professional kennel for her to lounge in, and, picture/video updates every day! They even have a TV in the temperature controlled kennel space so our girl could listen to tv like she is used to at our house. I look forward to using them again. They are a bit of a drive for me but I will use them every time over trying any of the 15 closer results rover showed me. About: I'm a full time professional dog trainer, and located on 4 Acres near Brookstone in North Columbus, my house the only legally operated, state-licensed, and insured home kennel offered on Rover. My personal dogs are a Mini-Schnauzer name Cricket, Doberman named Domino, and a Pointer named Marley. Training dogs is my full time job. I own my own business, The Barkitekt, and founded the Columbus Kennel Club. I have 6 years of experience working with dogs, puppy foundations, resource guarding, and behavior issues that take real experience to handle safely. I primarily train service dogs and sometimes sport dogs. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, dogs on medication, and large or strong breeds. This service is not a training program. I do not board reactive dogs that have not been trained through this program, this included dogs that have not been crated before. Please reach out for help with training this. Dog training is my full time job and I work from home, so your dog isn't alone waiting for me to get back from an office. I'm here all day, every day. I send video updates daily so you know how they're doing, and I'm reachable by text or email if you want to check in. I have four acres. Two are fully fenced, so dogs get real off-leash room to run in a secure space. The other two are wooded and unfenced with a couple of running streams. I treat boarding dogs the way I treat my own, which means the same basic house expectations: sitting before the door opens, waiting to be released, calm manners around food. It isn't formal training and I don't charge for it or promise it as a service, it's just how my house runs. That said, owners fairly often tell me their dog came home a little easier to live with.

About: I have taken care of animals since the age of 12. I have experience with a wide range of pets including ,but not limited to cats, horses, small dogs ranging from chihuahua, Yorkie, and pomeranian. To larger dogs like German shepherds, Rottweiler, pitbulls, and great Pyrenees hurding dogs. I also have a history of equestrian work with horses so it's made it easier to handle larger dogs. All pets deserve to be pampered and treated like family. Every time no excuse. I am a stay at home mom so I have no schedule to work around. I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. How each pet is treated will heavily depend on the owners wants and the pets needs. I will do my absolute best to keep any discussed expectations met. About: Our dogs have always been family and I can't recall any time in my entire life when I haven't had a dog at my side, sometimes two or three. I've had dogs of all sizes and energy levels. The longest boarding was for two months while the pup parent traveled in Asia. I've had dogs on my small ranch in NV and we rode trails together. I have experience with a variety of animals, including dogs and cats, horses and livestock, rodents and reptiles, and everything from basic grooming including nail trims and baths to basic behavior training. I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
About: i’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I currently have three and they are my whole world. being with and taking care of animals is my happiness. I currently work five days a week 3pm to 10pm. I can walk in the mornings or even check on animals after and before work. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs myself so I have plenty of food and toys for the little ones to play with.
About: I learned the meaning of a dog walk with my border collie Kaia! She was very high energy and loved to walk for miles! I love going for long walks or even runs with dogs. Being a post collegiate runner I have a lot of endurance and really enjoy working out! I love to walk, it is a part of my daily routine so I’m happy to include your dog! I currently work full time Monday - Friday. I am available to walk dogs in the early afternoon and Saturdays and Sundays all day. My weekend schedule is open and flexible. About: Hey thank you for taking the time to view my profile, here's a little information about me: Currently I am enrolled in college majoring as a veterinarian technician. My goal is to succeed in helping and caring for as many animals as I can. As someone who has had extremely close bonds with every pet I've ever had in my life, I can also proudly say that they are not just animals. Our pets are like family. For pets staying with me I have an yard that leads into a 3 mile path that wraps around a lake which is perfect for pets that need to stretch their legs. But also in a pet owners home I am clean, responsible and worried about the pets safety at all times. I'm currently a stay at home mom, with plenty of free time during my schedule. I'm available Monday-Sunday, at all times. Please give me at most an hour to respond to requests during the day. And if reaching out overnight please allow a few hours for a response. Thank you! All pets will be have my full attention, and you will constantly be updated with plenty of pictures and info during their stay. I also highly recommend bringing a crate, or dog bed during your pets visit, so they have a spot that's dedicated to having their own space.

To larger dogs like German shepherds, Rottweiler, pitbulls, and great Pyrenees hurding dogs. I also have a history of equestrian work with horses so it's made it easier to handle larger dogs. All pets deserve to be pampered and treated like family. Every time no excuse. I am a stay at home mom so I have no schedule to work around. I am available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. How each pet is treated will heavily depend on the owners wants and the pets needs. I will do my absolute best to keep any discussed expectations met. I also trained him myself and he can do many things, including knowing his lefts from his rights! I have volunteered at animal shelters for 10+ years, cared for many dogs and cats of all ages, helped train a few of the dogs I watched, and can administer medication. Missy’s stay with them was literally a doggy vacation with a Giant yard to play in, long walks, huge professional kennel for her to lounge in, and, picture/video updates every day! They even have a TV in the temperature controlled kennel space so our girl could listen to tv like she is used to at our house. I look forward to using them again. They are a bit of a drive for me but I will use them every time over trying any of the 15 closer results rover showed me. About: I'm a full time professional dog trainer, and located on 4 Acres near Brookstone in North Columbus, my house the only legally operated, state-licensed, and insured home kennel offered on Rover. My personal dogs are a Mini-Schnauzer name Cricket, Doberman named Domino, and a Pointer named Marley. Training dogs is my full time job. I own my own business, The Barkitekt, and founded the Columbus Kennel Club. I have 6 years of experience working with dogs, puppy foundations, resource guarding, and behavior issues that take real experience to handle safely. I primarily train service dogs and sometimes sport dogs. I'm comfortable with puppies, seniors, dogs on medication, and large or strong breeds. This service is not a training program. I do not board reactive dogs that have not been trained through this program, this included dogs that have not been crated before. Please reach out for help with training this. Dog training is my full time job and I work from home, so your dog isn't alone waiting for me to get back from an office. I'm here all day, every day. I send video updates daily so you know how they're doing, and I'm reachable by text or email if you want to check in. I have four acres. Two are fully fenced, so dogs get real off-leash room to run in a secure space. The other two are wooded and unfenced with a couple of running streams. I treat boarding dogs the way I treat my own, which means the same basic house expectations: sitting before the door opens, waiting to be released, calm manners around food. It isn't formal training and I don't charge for it or promise it as a service, it's just how my house runs. That said, owners fairly often tell me their dog came home a little easier to live with.
