“I woulds like this to remain a well kept secret to guarantee I would always be able to book with Linda S but that would be very selfish. Linda and her husband are naturals, very relaxed and calm in their interaction with the dogs. The other dogs that were there when I dropped Rosie off were content and happy and it was the same, Rosie included, when I picked her up 3 days later. The property is beautiful and dogs are free to explore and play. Rosie didn't go to a boarding kennel, she had a doggie spa vacation!”

“Two weeks with Elisabeth and my little wild child came back a well behaved dog! How does she do it? Great communication, great experience and will DEFINITELY book again!”

“Absolutely wonderful person and family for our pup to stay with! Amanda was great at caring for our senior pup and we appreciate knowing she was in safe hands during our trip.”

“Shannon took such wonderful care of Pepper during her stay. From the moment I felt at ease knowing she was in a safe, loving and attentive environment. This was Pepper’s first long time stay with Shannon and she created a comfortable, and caring environment for Pepper. She kept me updated with thoughtful messages, photos and videos. This made me at ease too seeing Pepper relaxed, content and getting plenty of attention. When I picked up Pepper, she was her happy self which tells me she received good quality care. I am so grateful for Shannon’s kindness and her love for animals. Pepper will definitely be staying with her again. Thank you Shannon for taking good care of Pepper and treating her like your own.”

“Victoriya was amazing! She was available last minute to take care of my dog for 10 days. Because our original dog sitter fell through, I was nervous about dropping my dog off. Throughout my trip, she sent me updates and a lot of pictures. She made me feel at ease and I didn’t stress about my pup while I was gone. I will 1000% be using her again in the future!!”

“Michelle's an amazing caregiver for Max. She was extremely caring towards my german shepherd senior doggo. She was also flexible with my dropoff and pickup times and dates. She will be our go to caregiver for Max from here on out. Highly recommend her.”

“This is our second time having our dogs stay with Sara. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found her. The peace of mind knowing they are cared for, but also getting a socialization and exercise: so grateful”

“We are so fortunate to have found Grant! He is an absolutely wonderful caretaker for our Great Dane! He spends a lot of time with the dogs, exercising them and taking really good care of them. Our favorite part about Riley going to " Camp Grant" is he sends us pictures or videos daily. Riley can't wait to go back!”

“This is our 3rd time booking with Sharon and Albert!! We absolutely love them and the way they care for our pups! We received many updates with pictures during their 10 day stay. We love that Sharon and Albert are active with our dogs in all aspects!! Wouldn’t leave our pups with anyone else!!”

“Melissa was the perfect person to take care of our Sara. She had a great time with Melissa’s pups and family. She kept us informed on how Sara was doing each day. This was great for us as it was Sara’s first boarding experience. We know Sara had a blast!! Melissa thank you for welcoming Sara, Rich and I. We enjoyed you and meeting your family!! Hugs 🤗. Thank you.”

“Thank you to Michelle and David for watching Clover for the weekend. Clover got to sleep on a bed (instead of in her crate‐ yes, it was okayed!) and had a doggy friend her age to run around with. I think she enjoyed herself!”

“Jena and her family took the absolute best care of our dog, Juno. From the moment we dropped her off, we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such loving hands. They treated her like one of their own, and it showed. Juno was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We had total peace of mind while we were away, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jena again. Highly recommend!”

About: Served as a volunteer and foster parent for many rescued animals in Bali during the pandemic. My experience with animals is vast. Ive grown up with many different kinds of pets. Cats. Dogs. Birds. Reptiles. Rodents. Chickens. ducks. Donkeys. Horses. Pigs. Goats. You name it. I love all animals. I was raised in the foothills in the redwood forest. I’m a very down to earth and healthy lifestyle human who just loves fur babies of all types. I’m attentive and loving and playful with animals. I really need it as much as they do. I work early in the mornings off around 9am and then have most of the day to myself. It’s nice to have an excuse to take a dog on a walk or to lounge around with some kitty cuddles. Having animals in my home makes it feel more like a home. In my own home I will be in close proximity at all times and I will be home the entire time so I can sense when potty breaks or walks are needed. I really enjoy taking walks myself so it’s a perfect fit to have dogs over. Cats are similar with the exception of walks unless you want to leash train them or already have. I love to keep an eye on them so they don’t hurt themselves and I give lots of play time.
“Another stay at Walee for our Mosel. This time when we brought Mosel home she was sad and missed Walee and her family. After a few days and she was back to normal. Now we know we have found Mosels second family, and have no worries when we have to leave her behind. Thank you Walee we will be back.”
“I'm glad I found Michael and Patricia. Josie felt at ease with them right away so it made me feel good about leaving her with them. They are a wonderful couple who really care about dogs. I rarely go out of town, but if I ever need a sitter for Josie in the future, they'd be the ones I'd book a stay with.”

“Pam took wonderful care of Susie !!! I couldn’t be more pleased with her and will definitely have Susie stay with her again. One of my favorite comments was that she treated Susie like a Grand Dog. That was just what I wanted to hear. I would highly recommend Pam !!!”

“This wonderful family took excellent care of Mia for a whole week while we were on vacation. They kept in touch regularly with texts and photos and it was clear that they cared for Mia as if she was their own.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
