I’m extremely comfortable administering medications (oral, topical, and injections if needed) and I always make sure every animal gets the extra love and attention they deserve. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I always make time for your pets—stopping by during my hour lunch break for walks, potty breaks, feeding, or just some midday snuggles and care. When I’m off the clock, I’m available to be at your home as much as you'd like, and I frequently stay overnight to keep pets happy and stress-free in their own space. Best of all, I'm completely free on weekends, so I can dedicate my full attention to your furry family members all weekend long. I work full time Monday through Friday but I do have an hour lunch break where I can stop by and let animals out and feed them if needed. When I am not at work, I am available to be at your home as much as you would like me there. I frequently stay in peoples homes with their pets. I am off work on weekends so I can dedicate the entire weekend to your furry babies. I do not usually watch animals in my own home, other than cats who are not outdoor cats & are experienced & good with other cats, since I have two of my own. I prefer to watch animals in their own home, as it lessens the stress for the animal (and my cats! haha)

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life and have a good sense on how to read them and their comfort level. I enjoy all breeds and personalities when it comes to dogs and will meet them wherever they are at to ensure they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. As a pet parent who uses Rover, I know how important it is to know your pet is well taken care of while you're not there. I am also a volunteer dog walker at UPAWS and have learned a lot from the staff there on how to properly meet and interact with new dogs. I'm currently not working, so I have plenty of free time to devote to taking care of your pet(s)! I spend a lot of my free time volunteering with various local organizations. I have a cat in my home, so I wouldn't be able to care for pets at my house, but I would take quality care of pets in their own home. I would follow whatever routine they normally have to try to reduce the stress of their people being gone.

About: I am a pet owner myself and have lived with pets my whole life. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and make sure each pet gets the attention, care, and love they need while you’re away. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, giving extra playtime, or just making sure they feel safe and relaxed, I go the extra mile to keep pets happy and owners worry-free. I am a teacher, which allows me to have nearly wide open weekend availability year round. During the school year (September-mid June) I am able to do week night drop ins after 4:30pm. During the summer (mid June-August) I am able to do drops ins from 12pm on. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routines as closely as possible to keep pets comfortable and stress-free. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, or administering medications, I pay close attention to every detail provided by the owner. I also make sure to give each pet plenty of affection and attention, so they feel safe and cared for while their family is away.

My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.
