About: My entire childhood there was always a dog or two in the house. I grew up with 5 different English setters that I helped take care of as starting as young as 10 years old. Being the high energy dogs that they are, I became well acquainted with daily walks and lots of attention and care. Today I’m the proud father of a 3 year old golden doodle named Winston. Despite being a couch potato he also loves the beach, camping, and could play fetch until his legs gave out. I’ve been working for home for 5 years now as a project manager, which has allowed me to proved constant care and attention to Winston and my parent 3 English setters whenever they have been out of town. Living just outside of downtown Negaunee, my neighborhood is dog friendly and the perfect place for a walk. I also offer a medium sized fenced in backyard, which is perfect for fetch and play time. I work from home M-F, so I’m always home and available to provide care. I also have a 3 year old golden doodle that I’m caring for fully time each day. I have a medium sized fenced in back yard with a covered porch. It is the perfect size for short distance fetch and playtime. Plus the porch offers some shade from the sun if they enjoy sitting outside and people watching.

They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

About: I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. About: My favorite thing to do when caring for animals is going on adventures! I love being outdoors whether it's a hike, walk in a neighborhood, or just playing in the yard. Not only is it good exercise for the pups, it brings me joy as well! Before getting my own dog at the age of 7, I enjoyed reading books about all dog breeds and gaining knowledge! All of my neighbors, family, and friends had dogs and I loved being able to walk them, play with them, and snuggle with them (of course)! About: I worked at a local vet clinic (2023-2025) as a receptionist and a vet assistant. It is not my chosen career path, but I did learn valuable skills and knowledge on caring for pets, especially ones with health concerns, as well as triaging for urgent cases and emergencies. I have taken training classes with one of my pups at home from beginner to advanced. I have experience with puppies,adults, and senior dogs, plus dogs with health issues. I have some experience sitting for cats, including kitties post-major surgery, and I grew up with cats who I had from the time they were kittens through to old age. I am comfortable with pets of all ages! I also grew up with dogs as big as Old English Mastiffs and as small as tea cup Chihuahuas, so I am comfortable with all sizes as well. I work full time, and my schedule changes week to week. I work anywhere from 5 hours shifts to 8 hours. I am unable to leave for lunch breaks or anything like that, so I am available for pets who are able to be left alone up to 8 hours on days that I work. I do get two days off a week, and those days I'm available all day and can adjust my routine and schedule around your pets! I have two playful pups at home that love to meet new people and dogs! Every 4-8 hours they go on potty breaks in the yard, which is decently big for running around. They go on 30 minute walks almost every day and a special hike or activity at least once a week. Caring for the pups is split between my boyfriend and I. While no one is home, my pups have free-range of and kitchen with all doors closed throughout the day. They always have access to toys, fresh water, and couches/dog beds to lounge on. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our bed with us at night, but we have two dog beds available as options. We love to give a couple treats/snacks throughout the day as well! I really enjoy making the time spent other pups fun, so they can feel as relaxed as possible while their people are away. As a pet parent myself, I respectfully follow all of my client's rules and what is required regarding their pets and home.

I work as a night shift nurse so my schedule can be a bit different, hectic, and sparse at times, but I’m still able and very much willing to give your dog the care, love, and attention they need and deserve! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I always check fences or fence gates before letting a dog outside. If dropping in for a house visit, I like to make sure the area is safe and secure - making sure your pup doesn’t get into anything they shouldn’t, such as trash bins, food on the counter, etc.

Weekends are perfect for longer visits, extra play, and plenty of cuddle time I care for pets in a very hands-on, attentive way and always try to make them feel safe and comfortable, especially while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine and make sure they get consistent care, attention, and reassurance. If pets stay in my home, I create a peaceful environment where they can settle in and feel relaxed. I stay observant of their needs and personalities, whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra comfort.
About: I have had all sorts of pets growing up my entire life. I have been responsible for taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, turtles, and birds since before I can remember! I have never not had a pet in my home to tend to. I love animals more than anything in life and have a genuine passion for taking care of animals (: I currently work part time- mainly on the weekends so I am free most weekdays and am always flexible on the weekends! I have two dogs of my own, so I have experience gauging the specific time and needs of animals :) I have a dog and a crate trained pup of my own living on 4 acres of land for all sorts of animals to enjoy! I also have a lovely house cat and kitten who would love nothing more than to play with your fur babies, cat or dog :) Your animals will feel right at home with special companions to be accompanied by their entire stay!
