About: I recently started my own house/pet sitting business when the veterinary clinic I worked for decided to shut down overnight boarding. I had worked for the clinic for almost 4 years and most of the regular clients absolutely loved me. I became busy quite fast, and when I finally left the clinic to work elsewhere, I took a lot of those clients with me, simply because of how well their pets know me and how well I take care of them. My primary job is a technician for a poop scooping company and I absolutely love it. I hope to blend both jobs together. I have 16 years of professional work with animals including veterinary hospitals, non profit rescues, 1 year of vet tech schooling.

About: Ive adored animals of all kinds my whole life and have rescued and cared for several. I have pets of my own, including: 1 dog, 3 cats (one of which is a super senior) and 2 geckos. I also have experience in rodent care. My extended family has trusted me to care for their pets on various occasions over time. I pride myself in continuously educating myself on all sorts of animals and my ability to determine your pets needs, wants and mood. I want nothing more than your fur baby to stay comfortable, happy and healthy. I follow directions well and have no problem adapting to your and your pets needs. I have plenty of free time to help care for your furry friends. My partner travels around the NWA, SWMO and SEOK areas for work and I intend to do the same. I read and follow directions well and can adapt to your pet needs as they come and of course respect your home rules as needed.

About: I've been around animals all my life. From volunteering at Petsmart during adoption weekends to rescuing/fostering animals. It has been my passion since I was a kid. I've worked with all ages from older dogs who need medication and newborn puppies (I've even delivered puppies). I have experience getting timid dogs to trust me. All dog breeds, shapes and sizes are loveable and adorable. I can't wait to spend time with your little one (or big one) and they won't be lonely I have a 8yr old Catahoula mix who was rescued and she loves making new friends! She's very friendly and patient. Please pick us! I work from home which means plenty of time for breaks, walks, and play time. We'll care for your family member as if she/he was our own. :) I work from home and can be very attentive based on your dogs needs. I'm home daily and can make sure all your dogs needs are met. I have a couple dog beds, along with fluffy blankets for them to cozy on up with. Tennis balls for playing and plenty of sticks to chew on.

About: Hey guys, sorry for making my brief so long! my name is Felix I’m 20, and this is my journey which led to my passion for dogs: Poverty paralyzes the faculty of reason, destroys the faculty of imagination, kills-self reliance, undermines enthusiasm, discourages Initiative, leads to uncertainty of purpose, encourages Procrastination and makes self-control impossible. Where does a socially starved child go to find love in such a cruel world? I went to the streets to find dogs… My first dog: I was walking home from elementary school on a hot, sunny day. I took a different route than I usually take and saw a pit tied up in the alley way. With excitement I ran towards him and started playing with him. As I was getting up to leave a guy came out of the corner and asked “do you want him?” I said “what?!” And then he said “do you want the dog?” I was 10 and thought that everyone who had a dog was rich. I thought they cost millions of dollars! but here is a guy asking me if I want a beautiful dog. I was completely speechless.. I replied, “You're lying, you're not giving me this dog for free?!” he then said “do you want him or not?” I will never forget the feeling of untying him off that pole and walking away with him. On my way out of the alleyway I shouted “ I’m taking him!..” “I’m walking awayyyy!…” hoping he’d break character. I got home and I was extremely excited, reminiscing about the future with my first dog! Thankfully my mom wasn’t home yet, so I had to think of a way to convince her to let me keep him. His name was Pete, because he was white and had a brindle patch on his eye like “Pete” from the little rascals. Then my mom came home.. I couldn’t hide him because he was too big so I had no choice but to reveal him, she immediately started running away. I'm a first generation African American, meaning my mom didn’t grow up with “pets” . It wasn't the norm to have an animal as a companion- to them it was abnormal. I couldn’t stop laughing as Pete chased her around the house but my mind immediately retreated back to the fear of losing my first dog. I gave her all the benefits of having a pet and pleaded to her that I will take care of him! including the part that they’re very good with Kids Note* I have 9 siblings; being 10 and poor I didn’t have anyone else to help me raise a dog. Which came with tragic consequences. I did not know Pete’s background beyond the alleyway and when I found it was too late. Pete was abused by his previous owners… One day I was walking him and met a friend who had a couple friends over and there was a girl who started taunting Pete. He immediately turned into a different dog, launching at her. Being 10 years old with a 100+ pound pit, I was practically a toy to him, he dragged me and bit her wrist… breaking it. I eventually got him off, but they called the police. Out of shock and fear of losing him I ran away from the scene. The police searched for me and Pete for a week. I didn't tell my mom because I was scared of losing him, It was just me and him Vs the world we did everything together! He never lied, hit or cheated me, he loved and played with me even when he had no dog food! A true companion he was. Finally the police went to my elementary school. I came home from school searching everywhere for him, but couldn't find him, I didn’t think of it as a big deal beliving my mom finally grew accustomed to him and took him out. I sat in the chair and waited for her to come home. At the instant of hearing the back door open I ran to her in excitement ready to hug my dog but she walked in alone, I asked “where Pete was?” and she replied “the shelter came and got him” I didn't even get to say goodbye to him! I begged them to take me to see him, but they never did. Two months passed and the shelter finally called, breaking the news that they had to put him down because he was sick. It felt like my whole world had just collapsed. I begged my mom to tell them he wasn’t sick. He just misses me but she wasn’t a big fan of dogs from the beginning, I still remember sitting on the stairs crying. I couldn’t control those youthful ocean of tears. A feeling that if I reflect upon for too long still impacts me till this day. Something birthed in me to possess that feeling of an unconditonal companion. That led to me finding 9 more dogs. If I wrote you guys a story about each of them, this would be a literal chapter book. So I will give their names, if you would like to know about each of them feel free to reach out Here are their names: Ava,Teddy, Blanca, Snowy, Princess,Teddy, Sasha, Ezekiel and Milo Some passed away, some were rehomed, and some were taken by the shelter. I found myself in a world that pushed me to search for love in broken places. If life is the greatest teacher then I had to understand that I was my own boss. I learned not to bring or leave things in places that lack the resources to give them value, Especially special creatures like dogs. I recently just moved to northwest Arkansas with my 3 legged french bulldog (Saqkou). He has a life I could’ve only dreamt of giving my other dogs. I structure my day around consistency, with morning and evening walks, regular check-ins, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of attention to ensure pets feel comfortable, exercised, and cared for throughout the day. I live in a friendly neighborhood, follow leash safety, respect client instructions, and prioritize cleanliness, communication, and trust in my home or a client’s home.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have had them my whole life, so caring for them feels really natural to me. I love being outside, going on long walks, and spending time with animals. I’m very responsible and make sure pets are safe, exercised, and happy while their owners are away. I also enjoy learning each dog’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable. I’m currently saving money for college, so pet sitting is something I take seriously and put a lot of care into. I’m currently a senior in high school and my classes are only from 7:00–10:30 AM during the week, so I’m available late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. I graduate in about two months, and after that I’ll be fully available all day and night on both weekdays and weekends. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and understand how important it is for them to feel safe and comfortable. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely for feeding, walks, routines, and any special care. I make sure dogs get plenty of exercise, attention, and time outside while also keeping them safe and supervised. My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy and cared for while you’re away.

About: I have had several animals growing up so I am familiar with taking care of animals. I cannot have animals where I live, so I pet sit a lot for my friends and family. I have taken care of animals of all ages and I can read their body language pretty well. I am a house cleaner and work Monday-Friday, but my hours vary depending on the cleans for the day. I may go into work later in the day or get off earlier, so I’m pretty flexible. During the weekends I don’t usually do anything so I would be available all weekend. I can care for your pets in home. I understand and can perform specific duties based on the instructions left for their care. I am experienced in giving animals medication and crating them if necessary.

About: I have grown up dog-sitting for the family's in my neighborhood - over weeklong vacations to drop-ins to hour long walks. From that, I have already experienced a range of dogs - from the sweetest great dane to the smallest and sassiest teacup yorkie. On top of that, I am also an outdoor enthusiast - my active lifestyle will leave your dog head over paws! Or if your dog is low-energy I would love to sit, pet, and love them. I really am happy to spend time with any furry creature. However cliche it may be, dog's can truly be man's best friend. I work 9AM-7PM Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. If your animal needs to be let out midday, I can make arrangements during my lunch. Weekends are also very open for me. I live by a lot of grass and right along the greenway which creates a lot of potential walking routes. I do not personally have my own pets but they are allowed full range in my house.

About: I worked as a dog walker and sitter for 3 years and had my own dog for 16. I’m comfortable with different temperaments, follow routines closely, and pay attention to behavior so things stay consistent and dogs feel settled. I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout the day. I do teach yoga a few times a week, which takes me away for 2–3 hours at a time. Otherwise, I’m home and present with the dog. I’m in a single-family home with a large (partially fenced) backyard, though I prefer getting dogs out on walks rather than relying on the yard. I live near the Bentonville trails and greenway, so that’s where we go for longer walks - usually in search of the best sniffing spots. No other pets or children in the home. It’s a quiet, non-smoking space. Windows are usually open for fresh air, and there’s a big floor-to-ceiling window where dogs can hang out and watch the calm, quiet street. I’m flexible between sitting at my place or yours, and I can accommodate a crate if needed.
