About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and truly love caring for them. I currently have one cat but I’ve had pets of all kinds over the years. Whether it’s feeding, playing, or just keeping them company, I understand the importance of giving pets the attention and care they deserve. You can count on me to treat your pets like my own! I have a full time job that is done at 3:00 PM. I will be able to complete tasks starting at 3:30 PM. On weekends I have full availability. Safety is always my top priority when caring for pets. I make sure each animal is in a secure, pet-friendly environment and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs. I’m careful with feeding schedules, medication (if needed), and always keep an eye out for any signs of stress or discomfort. I’m also mindful of indoor/outdoor safety, keeping doors closed, leashes secure, and making sure they’re never left unattended in unsafe situations. Your pet’s well-being and comfort are always my main focus.
About: As a veterinary assistant for over 3 years and a pre-vet student, I’ve been passionate about animals since I was very little and began pet sitting over 10 years ago. I have experience with many different animals in clinical settings, home, farm and zoo settings. Most of my work experience has been in emergency medicine. I have also enjoyed rescuing and fostering dogs, cats, and exotics. One of my college courses was on dog training, and I have trained my own dogs, birds, and rodents. I’ve also studied exotic/zoo medicine and conservation abroad in South Africa for 4 weeks! I regularly work from 6am to 4-7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and only have one class M/W/F 11-11:50am. I am usually scheduled to work Wednesday and Friday afternoons anywhere from 1-3pm to 5-7pm which gives me time to check on pets around lunch. I usually have all day Monday free other than the one class. I spend as much time as I can with the pets I care for and make sure to give them love, attention, and exercise just like I would my own animals. They will get lots of belly rubs and cuddles! Depending on how they tolerate it, I can do nail trims and baths if requested.
About: I have always had a love for dogs and have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. I have two rescue dogs of my own, so I understand the importance of making your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have previously worked as a dog sitter for family, friends, and people in my neighborhood. About: I have taken care of pets since I was 11 years old. I have bathed, fed, walked, and played with dogs and cats alike. I love it a lot and animals just bring me joy. I currently work part time at another job so I’ll have time to help take care of your pets throughout the week and keep them company. I am able to move around a bunch to play with your pet! Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
