About: I love all dogs and cats! Any shape or size I am comfortable with. I used to have a German Shepard, and four cats at the same time. One of my cats I got from an animal shelter lived for 21.5 years. I have extensive animal care experiences with kitten, old cats and dogs and even special need care cats and dogs. I can also handle rodents! If your pets need special care to administer medicine, I can give it orally or topically whatever you need. I work from home, so I can spend time with your pets during their stay. So you don’t have to worry about your loving pets. I’m currently working at home, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets. My time is very flexible and I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays. I have 14-acre land. My house is located at the dead-end road and no traffic. I can take them to walk in my property. I now have a 4-year-old Goldendoodle and a cat. They are both friendly to other animals. I have a large living room where they can play and they are welcome to go on the couch.

About: I’m new to pet sitting but experienced with care of multiple doggies who have allowed me live in their home. From puppies to old age they received the best of care and lots of attention. Your pups would be treated the same way. I am retired and have a flexible schedule. My calendar is updated frequently. The only time I am generally not available would be Sunday mornings. Your pups would have my sole attention and time. There are no pets in my home. I live in an area with lots of beautiful green space and pet friendly.

About: I have taken care of animals for most of my life. From rescuing kittens from under my grandmas porch to raising and taking care of a farm now! Your pup will be well taken care of and have a blast on our homestead. I’ll update you with pictures through out the day while your fur-baby stays with us! Family friendly dogs only, as I have 5 kids myself. I’m currently working from home, so I’m fairly flexible. Your dog will have constant attention and care for all their needs. They will lack nothing! We live on a big farm (100+ acres) with a long driveway so there is no risk with the road. I have a dog playpen as well. Your dog will be very safe and well cared for!

About: Growing up I have always cared for our family pets. Today I have 3 rescue dogs of my own. My pups are apart of my family. I volunteer to transport dogs to a safe homes. Animals of any type depend on their humans to care for them. When their humans can’t be there for some reason they still need that special care and attention. I have always struggled when leaving my dogs to go away. What do I do with them? Who will care for them like I do? I would like to help people to be at ease knowing your pet will be well taken care of in my hands because I understand what it is like to have that worry. I will care for your pet as though they are mine.

About: I grew up with a black lab, Macey and a Chihuahua mix, Tootsie and took care of them from when I was young until around the age of 16 when they passed away. I also regularly dog sat 5 dogs at once- all with specific needs, diets and medications before the family moved away. I am comfortable with high energy dogs, I will happily administer medication, and we have 2 acres of fenced in land for your dog to run and play! I am a flight attendant so my schedule varies- usually I work 3-4 days a month and they are never the same. Request and I’ll accept if I’m not flying that day, but other than occasional work I’m pretty much always home! We are not an available to dog sit Sunday mornings but afternoons and evenings are free. I would love to have a dog but because I’m a flight attendant I know I couldn’t give it the consistency and love it would need- however, on days I am home I would LOVE to have a furry friend to play with. We would be happy to host your dog(s) and let them run around our fenced in back yard, explore the barn, and roam the house. We only accept dogs that are good with children and that are potty trained. We have a large kennel if your dog is crate trained and you would like us to use it, but as long as it’s good with kids it’s free to explore. We can administer medication, give treats, and share lots of love and we hope you’ll trust us with your beloved pups ❤️ P.S. my favorite breeds are corgis, labs and golden doodles :) but I’m not picky, all dogs will receive equal love 😉

“I highly recommend Brooke. I recently adopted a new 11 month old puppy (Oscar) with severe separation anxiety. Oscar absolutely loved his time with Brooke and her friendly dogs and children. I was very nervous to leave Oscar alone with a stranger because he is extremely attached to me and will almost scream if I go outside without him, but he was perfectly happy when I arrived to pick him up. About: I'm a stay at home mom with a very flexible schedule and a love for small dogs! I've had Chihuahuas since I was 12. I currently have one who is well socialized and gets along great with other animals. A day in our home is filled with cuddles, exercise, and playtime. I make sure to provide lots of photos and videos of your pet during their time here because I know pets are part of the family and how hard it can be to be away from them. The dogs in my care will have full access to my home. We will provide multiple daily walks and follow whatever schedule you provide to keep them feeling comfortable and at home here.

About: We have always had pets of all sorts growing up so I am very accustomed to pet care! I have dog sat many times in my teen years. My husband and I got married in 2020 and now have a daughter of our own! We live on an 12 acre hobby farm with cows and chickens. Your pet will be loved as if our own and cared for as you yourself would! I have a little experience in puppy training and am also very aware of dog language cues. I love all sorts of animals and can’t imagine my life without them!! I am a stay at home mom and am easily able to see to all your pets needs! Big or small we are here to serve you! We have 12 acres! Half is wooded and other half we have in fencing, barnyard and our normal yard. You fur baby will have plenty of room to roam and explore or if you prefer we are able to keep in the main yard! We are non smokers and can provide a clean, healthy and loved environment for your fur baby in our little barn dominion home! :)

About: What sets me apart? I treat every pet like family. With years of hands-on experience, a calm home environment, and a deep love for animals, I focus on consistency, comfort, and clear communication. I maintain your pet’s routine, send regular updates, and ensure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. We also do late night walks and play time. It’s my full time job! I board dogs and do daycare at home and go to peoples houses for drop ins and we also do overnights! The dogs have their own room dedicated to them, safe from being able to get into anything. We also have cameras to be able to check on dogs at all times. In a clients home we maintain calmness with fun and spend ample time with them while owners are away.

About: As a dog mom for many years, I know that having a dog sitter you trust is super important. Being away from home can be nerve-wracking for the furrbaby and their parent. I have 7 wonderful years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes (some with past trauma and anxiety). You can trust that your dog will get the love, care, and attention they need! I typically wake up at around 7:30 am take your pupper out to use the fire hydrant, then provide fresh food and water during breakfast time. After working from 9am-3pm I will walk them around Downtown Mount Vernon. After water and treats, I'll usually play fetch, tug-o-war, or run around with them if they're in the mood for playtime. After more relaxation, while I run errands (house chores, etc.), I take your dog out to relieve themselves before the evening routine (playing, working from home, preparing dinner). I take them outside one more time before bed, and that completes a full day in the Rowe House. I care for your pet according to your preferences. Here at the Rowe House, we typically allow pets to nap on the couch and hang out with us while we work at home. I do have a Corgi (Monty) who loves other dogs and have a pretty careful routine with him, so I highly respect any owner that has very strict or more laid-back preferences for their pups. When bathing or clipping your dog's nails, I use positive reinforcement and desensitization techniques. These include distracting them with treats, encouraging/praising them with treats, and peanut butter. I do require the dog to have all vaccines up to date for bathing and nail clipping. Whether or not I can provide these services will also depend on your dog's comfort and anxiety level.

About: I have experienced every step of Animal Care; from my first childhood dog birthing a litter of pups, to end-of-life care more recently with my family dog. Let me know what makes your critter happy, and know that your pooch is in loving, warm hands. I have cared for dogs 3/4s of my 35 years on this planet and even moved a dog back acquired internationally off of the streets of Beirut, Lebanon with a previous girlfriend and trained obedience into the street dog, and to be accustomed to a more sedentary American-Style home living. I am currently shifting from a sales career in finance to a tech career, and am spending some quality time with my parents in Appley Valley for a few months outside of Mt. Vernon before I rewire my focus back to an intensive career-oriented work environment. I am holding off on a full-time job and would love to take care of your pet and give them all of my attention and focus whenever you need me, even if it's an emergency. I have no other work engagements currently as I'm taking two months to catch up with my folks while I transition to a new firm. I have a finished basement apartment underneath a 2600 sq ft. ranch, where your animal children are welcome to relax on my furniture and enjoy an acre of wooded land and a 10-minute drive to Bark Park outside of Appley Valley Lake Community. I can travel and my car is dog-friendly if your creature likes to socialize or play at any of the local parks or dog parks. If your pooch needs a Paw-Wash or "the Works" I have a walk-in shower where we can have your puppy smelling "so fresh and so clean" upon returning the critter to your domicile.
