About: I have had high energy dogs mostly heelers and love to take them outside for adventures. It helps me bond with them and teach them to be social. I currently work evenings and bring my our dog out for walks all the time during the day. I love taking him to the dog park and hiking and have room to bring others with me. I mostly take my dog to the dog park and leash him when I take him hiking. I would be able to bring another dog with us when we adventure.

About: I have lots of free time and am looking to spend it with pets! I love to be outside and would love to walk dogs everyday, or just hang out with them! I’m comfortable recognizing health concerns, providing individualized care, supporting senior pets, and helping shy or anxious animals feel safe and comfortable. I genuinely love getting to know your pet’s unique personality and routine. I understand that communication regarding their wellbeing is paramount during your absence so regular updates will always be provided. I have considerable experience caring for pets with chronic conditions and special needs including blindness, deafness, amputees, anxiety, allergies, IBD, IVDD, hip dysplasia, arthritis, CHF, cancer, CKD, Diabetes, and thyroid disorders. About: I have had dogs for 8 years and have recently taken in a cat about 4 years ago. I love walking dogs and have walked my neighbors dogs and such. (My own too of course.) Nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy dog (or cat). I work a full time job that pays me well so the money isn’t important to me. Making dogs and animals happy on walks or through care is what makes me happy! I enjoy playing and entertaining little friends. Whether it’s fetch, tug-a-war, or shining the little red laser around, I enjoy it all!!

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have been raising a mini Aussie puppy since September. I understand how to handle puppies and many different breeds. I have helped family and friends take care of dogs. I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to care for your pets! On average I work 4 days a week in the evenings for 3-6 hours, typically weekends and 1 or 2 other days a week. My schedule during the day is very open for walks, potty breaks, or meals at just about any time. I can also do late-night checkups as needed. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly mini Aussie puppy who loves to play. My home is pet proof, so there should be no concerns about your pet getting into/eating anything they’re not supposed to. When in your home, I am very respectful. I do not snoop around and will ensure everything is okay with your pet. If desired, I can bring my puppy over for a playdate and/or walks.
About: I WANT TO TAKE YOUR DOG HIKING TOO! Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a dedicated Animal Sciences graduate from Oregon State University (Chemistry minor) with four years of hands-on experience at a professional dog boarding facility, plus extensive large-animal and livestock care that gives me a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and nutrition. At Double C Dog Boarding I worked full-time for two years and part time for one, I was responsible for the daily care of 10-45 dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I handled feeding customized diets, administering medications, providing exercise and playtime, monitoring health, and creating a calm, home-like environment so every dog felt safe and happy while their families were away. I’m comfortable with high-energy pups, seniors, anxious dogs, and multi-dog groups, and I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, patient, and attentive. My formal training and other roles make me even more equipped to care for your pets: • Worked as a Student Worker at the OSU Horse Center (stall cleaning, feeding, turnout, hoof care, and medication). • Served as Student Ranch Hand at the OSU Beef Ranch, checking cattle daily, treating injuries, and repairing fencing. • Conducted beef nutrition research at OSU, performing blood draws, fecal sampling, rumen fluid collection, and precise diet management. • Currently a Communications Intern at the Oregon Farm Bureau, where I continue promoting animal welfare and agriculture. I’m extremely reliable, a clear communicator, and I genuinely love what I do. Whether you need overnight boarding, drop-ins, or just a trustworthy sitter who truly understands animals, I’m here to give your dog the same high-quality, loving care I’ve provided for years. I’m based in OR and would love to meet you and your pup! Feel free to message me with any questions. 🐾 I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to cater to and come see your pets! I have a pretty flexible schedule, so please feel free to reach out! In your home, I will follow your pet’s exact daily routines, feeding schedules, and preferences to keep everything feeling familiar and stress-free. Using my years of professional boarding experience and Animal Sciences background, I’ll provide fresh water and meals, give medications if needed, offer plenty of playtime and enrichment, and monitor closely for any changes in behavior or health. I’m reliable and committed to treating your pets like my own while keeping your home respected and cared for.
About: Hi all! I am originally from Bozeman and grew up with dogs- I enjoy going for walks and going to dog parks as well as just cuddling on the couch! I am a full time employee at the hospital and can easily do drop in walks or visits and will only accept jobs where I can meet the level of care your pet needs. I treat pets like a part of my family- since I am a renter I am unable to board animals at my house but would follow any guidelines set up by a client to make their pet feel like they are with family.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of neighbors’ dogs since I was around 10 from dachshunds to collies to rottweilers and cared for my brothers’ terrier, pitbull and poodle from time to time when they’ve gone traveling. I have lived with and watched cats as well and have taken care of a handful of friends’ young puppies. I also have my own dog who I got when he was 5 months old so I know the importance of exercising dogs to keep them healthy and better behaved! I love all dogs and cats and have a lot of patience and would be happy to help care for your fur baby! I’m currently working seasonally so I have some extra time to care for pets now in the off season and have a lot of flexibility right now. I am always respectful of others’ homes and belongings. Whenever I walk dogs or house sit and am given access to homes when owners are away I enter homes with discretion and respect. I don’t touch anything I shouldn’t and treat anything I do touch with care and respect and leave things how I found them.

About: I have loved and been around animals of all kinds for as long as I can remember. I am a Veterinary Technician with many years of shelter, clinic, and hospital experience. I am confident in my ability to work with critters of all species, breeds, ages, and also those with varying special needs. I have also grown up raising and training livestock and horses for the majority of my life. I know the bond between you and your pet(s) can never be replaced, but I promise to give them all my love and make sure that they are given the highest standard of care and love while you are away! Due to my previous veterinary and pet care experience, I have experience maintaining training regimens, catering to dietary needs, and providing any at home medical treatment/ medication administration that your pet may need. I have also been around the block in fostering/caring for everything from newborn puppies to hospice care seniors. I am able to and am happy to do it all! I believe that it is most important for your pets to feel safe and comfortable in those uncertain times when you are away. I feel as though this comfort is best maintained when your pets can remain in your home. I do work full time as a veterinary technician, but pet care is always a top priority for me. My schedule is consistent and allows me to plan dedicated time for walks, feedings, play, medications, and lots of love. With my veterinary background, I’m attentive, reliable, and fully committed to making sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I am fully flexible in the way that I carry out my services in your home, and will look to the expectations and needs set by you for guidance. I am a rule follower and will cary out each task requested to the best of my ability. I know that having someone in your home can be intimidating, but I reassure you that you won't even know that I was there. My job is to care for your pets only! Thank you in advance for trusting me in your home, and most importantly with your fur babies!
About: I grew up my whole life with dogs and trained them as puppies. I like to hike and run with my high intensity dogs, and am good at tiring them out while having a blast! I am currently a student at MSU’s flight school during the school year. But over the summer, I’ve been taking care of my friends and family’s dogs when needed. Since I’m not in school right now, and am only doing flight lessons, I have a pretty open schedule and am excited to meet your dogs! How do you care for pets in your home and/or your client's home? This will vary depending on which service you offer. Since I am in school right now and don’t have my own place, I don’t offer boarding. However, for house sitting and dog walking, I would love to do lots of fun outdoor activities with your dogs, varying on your dogs energy level.

About: I’ve had a dog for almost all of my life and love every single breed, shape, size and color! I had 3 dogs at once all different ages, sizes and personalities. I’ve recently found myself in a position in life where I do not have a fur baby of my own, so I thought I’d give this a shot! One big perk: I work full time at a compound pharmacy where I make vet medications so I know the tricks of giving them and how important it is to give them accurately. I currently work full time Monday through Friday 9-5, but can adjust my schedule to earlier or later if need be. I also have the option of a one hour lunch break. My schedule is usually pretty open on the weekends. I have no problem with dogs free roaming or being in the crate. I love after work walks and play time to help keep them occupied and happy.
About: Having had dogs and cats most of my life, I have had to tend to them when they aren't feeling well, provided medications as directed, and even had to assist older dogs who just need some extra help during their day to day life. Making sure your dog is safe and comfortable in their own home is what's best for them. I start off my day with a cup of coffee and feeding breakfast to my dog. Then I go to work and return after noon to let my dog out and give him an afternoon or evening walk. On weekends, I take my pup for adventures in the park, a walk on Pete's Hill, and some snuggle time. Life is better with pets! I feel it's best to maintain your pet's normal routine, so if that means daily walks, normal feeding and play times, then that's what I do. I always like to know the rules of the house when it comes to your pet, and if a pet owner has a flyer outlining their pet's likes and dislikes, Vet contact, and any medical concerns or needs, this is always helpful just in case of emergencies.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Gallatin Gateway with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
