About: ABOUT ME: Completely insured WITH Animal Bailee Insurance and Vet Protection Coverage through PCI. I have been on and off Rover since I was in college and own my small business. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. Maple was a diabetic for 7 years. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. My senior pets care needs helped build my knowledge in senior dogs. I am well educated on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Therefore I am always available for drop-ins and pup walks throughout the week and weekends. I am completely insured with $1M general liability, Animal Bailee Insurance, and Vet Protection Coverage. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own pets, like family. Play time, walks, relaxing on the couch, eating treats, you know... just hanging out.

“Dustin was great with Chip. I trusted him right away as Chip took to him the same. He sent plenty of photos and Chip came back from doggy daycare absolutely spent! What’s better than a tired dog?”

“Jessica is incredibly quick to respond, kind, patient, and clearly cares about each dog’s individual needs and safety. They have a beautiful home with a large, well-maintained fenced yard, and it’s obvious they go above and beyond to make the dogs feel comfortable and well cared for. I would definitely recommend them!”

“Aunty Stephanie took such great care of my boys! They are A HANDFUL, but she’s a total pro. The weather was terrible, but she still managed to wear them out each day. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were safe and having so much fun with her. I’m just glad they still wanted to come home each day!”

“We were so grateful that she was able to help us with a last-minute booking. She was kind, welcoming, and took wonderful care of Joy. It gave us peace of mind knowing Joy was in such good hands. We would love to have Joy stay with her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.
“Amy did a great job of taking care of my dog. Would definitely recommend and would bring my dog back again here for daycare ! My dog came back home tired . Loved the pics and updates !”

“Richard was an amazing dog sitter, diligent and caring. His two pups are handsome, playful, and well behaved. My two pups were well cared for and tuckered out from playing outside. We all had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Richard.”

“Stephanie always takes such good care of Ivy. Ivy has stayed with her a few times now and has done so great. She always sends updates and makes sure Ivy has everything she needs. Will definitely be using her again.”

“The babies loved Libby and had a fantastic time in daycare with her and their new buddies! Every single pic showed us they were having a BLAST! We will be back for sure! Thanks Libby!”

“It was my first time leaving Ace with someone and Mary eased all my worries! She constantly sent me pictures of him and updating me! When I picked Ace up he was not wanting to leave and as soon as he got in the car fell asleep which showed me that he’d been playing the whole time! The next day when I dropped him off he was eager to get to Mary’s. He even got on the car all by himself! Mary and her husband are great for the dogs and very flexible with pick up/drop off times which is a big plus for me.”

“Veronika was so welcoming and took great care of our pup. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the day and our pup had a blast. Thank you Veronika for all you do.”

“Wow, Lacy had the best day of her life with Marietta and her new fur-friends! Lacy was welcomed into her home and treated like one of her own dogs. She came tired and so happy. I loved all the updates and pictures of our sweet girl throughout the day. Lacy can’t wait to go back for another fun day of day care with Marietta. Highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve had dogs for over 20 years and caring for pets has been part of my life since I was very young. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and different personalities and needs. I have experience administering medications when needed and always focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. Your dog will enjoy daily walks, playtime, attention, and a family-friendly home environment. I also have a fully fenced backyard that is maintained without toxic sprays, so your fur baby can safely explore and play. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m a stay-at-home mom and this allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I care for pets as if they were my own while following their normal routine and owner preferences. At my home, pets enjoy a safe environment with a fully fenced backyard and regular supervision since I’m home most of the day.
“My beagle, Winnie, has gone to Tyler's for daycare four times so far. They hit it off immediately! Tyler is responsible, caring, and easy-going. I have complete confidence that Winnie is getting the best care. I have several other dates booked and will continue to use Tyler for daycare as long as he's available. Highly recommend!”

“Amanda was great and Millie had a great time with Porky. She came home exhausted after having several days of playing. Amanda was incredibly accommodating after I booked daycare only instead of boarding. She offered to watch Millie overnight without hesitation. She’s super easy to get ahold of and provides regular updates. Of course Porky kept Millie super busy and having fun!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 634 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Gadsden. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Gadsden commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 634 sitters in Gadsden, 83% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
