About: Since I was 14, I’ve been responsible for taking care of my own dogs and those of my neighbors, family, and friends. I come from a large dog family, from a Great Pyrenees to Labs and German Shepherds, but I’ve also been able to care for smaller dogs in my neighborhood. I’ve also cared for sensitive and reactive dogs who came from hard backgrounds, so I have experience taking it slow to build trust. I also care for cats as well, with experience from my own 13 year old orange cat and my mom’s two crazy kittens. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing tug of war, giving them meds, or just keeping them company, I love any time I get to spend with fur babies. I’m preparing to leave for a scholarship in Poland at the end of September after graduating with my Master’s degree in May, so my schedule is incredibly flexible. I am free most days and times with the exception of a few days with prior commitments throughout the summer. I strive to provide the best care with the utmost respect for you and your fur baby’s home. If there’s anything I should know about your pet’s care preferences or any neighborhood/environmental concerns, please let me know so that I may keep your pet safe at all times. I have experience with fenced in yards and open areas, as well as plenty of experience with flight risk dogs (those German Shepherds love to run!) and returning them safely home. My goal is to keep your pet and place safe and clean until you return home.

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life and I truly love them. I’ll make sure your cat is not only well cared for, but also comfortable, safe, and given plenty of attention during visits! Whether it’s feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, or spending time playing and providing affection, I’m happy to tailor visits to your cat’s routine. I’m attentive to behavior and small changes, so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. My goal is for your cat to feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away, and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re being looked after with care and consistency.

About: ABOUT ME: Completely insured WITH Animal Bailee Insurance and Vet Protection Coverage through PCI. I have been on and off Rover since I was in college and own my small business. I am a previous dog owner. My animals were not only my pets, but they were my family. I had my Labrador for 13 years and my Boxer mix for 15 years. We used to love to take long strolls around the neighborhood and visit our pals at the local dog park. We would cook dinner and lounge around watching our favorite flicks. We even took car rides around town when we got bored. Over the years, we went through everything from crazy puppy phases, to professional command/leash training, and experienced all medical scares (labs love to chew on EVERYTHING) under the sun. Maple was a diabetic for 7 years. I can assist with any type of need ranging from long walks, simple belly rubs, to training help. I am highly experienced in administering topical, oral and injectable medications, as well as eye and ear medications. My senior pets care needs helped build my knowledge in senior dogs. I am well educated on many types of medications and daily care pills. Whatever the need may be just ask me! EDUCATION: I am a graduate with my b.s. in buisness from Purdue. I currently am a stay at home mother, with much freedom to build my own schedule. Therefore I am always available for drop-ins and pup walks throughout the week and weekends. I am completely insured with $1M general liability, Animal Bailee Insurance, and Vet Protection Coverage. I care for pets in the same way I would care for my own pets, like family. Play time, walks, relaxing on the couch, eating treats, you know... just hanging out.

“Dustin is terrific! Our dog, who had undergone some minor surgery earlier in the week, was in good hands. We wanted to be sure she didn't bother her stitches, and Dustin kept a close eye on that. Tess got along well with his dogs, and the property is lovely. We had no worries with Dustin on the job!”

About: I worked in marine mammal care and training at The Indianapolis Zoo for 10 years, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience from Purdue University. My partner and I both work from home and we have two dogs of our own, so pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. I have 2 friendly, crate trained dogs who get walks 2-3 times/day. We also recently built a mini dog park in our back yard for dogs who prefer to be off leash, but also need to be supervised while outside.
About: Hey there! My name is Audrey and I've been an animal lover since very a young age. Grew up on a farm and started watching for family and friends about 10 years old. From chickens, cows, horses, you name it I've cared for it! I take care of my parents Shih Tzu Dollie (named after Mrs Dolly Parton, because of her big attitude and sass!). *****My husband Joey occasionally assists me with pet sitting and care. We have many people that we have watched pets for together. We just love giving all animals love and affection they deserve. I'm currently a full time worker, but only working Wednesday to Saturday 7:30a to 6p. About: My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for our own beloved Labs. We had the joy of raising a chocolate Lab for 16 years and a silver Lab for 12 years — they were family in every sense of the word. After saying goodbye to both of them in 2024 and 2025, our home felt a little too quiet. We’re not quite ready to adopt again, but our hearts and home are wide open. That’s what brought us to Rover. We know firsthand what it means to trust someone with your dog, and we take that responsibility seriously. Your pup will be welcomed into our home the same way we cared for ours — with patience, love, and the kind of attention only dog people can give. We have a fully fenced in yard for safe outdoor play, plus plenty of walking paths right in our neighborhood to keep your dog active and happy. Both my husband and I work from home full time, which means your pup is never left alone. We’re here throughout the day to provide attention, playtime, and routine walks — keeping their schedule as normal and stress-free as possible. Your dog will be in a safe, loving environment from the moment they arrive. Our home features a fully fenced yard for worry-free outdoor play and neighborhood walking paths for daily exercise. We also have a cozy dog bed ready for naps and downtime, but couch cuddles and sleeping in bed are more than welcome too — whatever makes your pup feel most at home.

I have had many labs and larger dogs as well as small dogs over the years and love caring for all breeds and sizes. I take care of my neighbor’s dogs, bunny and cats when they go out of town. I work a full time job from home and have a lot of flexible hours to walk dogs during the day. I am available most weekends to come over and care for other pets, clean litter boxes and just spend time with your fur babies. I have a very large fenced in yard and a social dog that will play. I have 3 cats that have spent their entire life around dogs. I have 3 different sized dog crates if your dog is crate trained. My pets are allowed to sit and sleep on the furniture and beds in the house. My pets are like family members and pretty spoiled! I will treat your pets the same as I treat mine.

About: Hello! I'm recently retired from the Air Force, an avid reader, and a lifelong animal lover. I've cared for cats and dogs throughout my life, including my senior British Shorthair, Sasha. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. Whether they need walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm presence, you'll receive plenty of photos and updates while you're away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my senior British Shorthair, Sasha, and enjoy building walks and outdoor time into my day. Since retiring, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. At this time, I provide care in my clients' homes rather than my own. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I'm happy to maintain their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I'll treat your pets as if they were my own and provide regular photos and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of dogs professionally for 7 years. I have worked at Hunt Club Boarding Kennel in Zionsville IN since 2019. My duties at this job include walking, feeding, administering medication, and caring for the overall comfort of the dogs we board. I love dogs and have always enjoyed working with them. I am attending grad school at IU this fall and I am looking to make some extra money doing something I love! I have a very flexible schedule and can easily incorporate pet care into my daily routine. I currently work part-time at Hunt Club Boarding Kennel, with shifts typically lasting 4–5 hours. Because of my schedule, I have no midday conflicts and am available to stop by between 12:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. every day for walks, potty breaks, feeding, playtime, or check-ins. I am also available in the mornings and evening depending on my kennel schedule! Please reach out for more availability! I am very comfortable controlling dogs regardless of size. I have my own leads but I have experience walking dogs with harnesses and other such devices. It might sound silly, but I understand the importance of proper harness application and know that if it is put on incorrectly this can lead to major issues. After 7 years of working at the kennel I am confident in my ability to read animal behavior and know what a dog is comfortable with or not.
“Joe is helping me out big time with my baby Joey. I am using him recurringly so Joey can get some exercise midday. I would highly recommend. Joey looks forward to going on walks with Joe.”

About: I have always had a passion for animals, and I have owned and been around dogs and cats all my life. Growing up, I didn’t watch princess movies. I watched Dr. Dolittle and Babe. I love animals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small and large animals, including some livestock experience. I have worked at several doggy daycare and boarding facilities where my main jobs were to maintain a calm, stress-free environment so that boarders felt loved while their owners were away, and to supervise group play so the dogs could get their energy out while still interacting safely with me and their friends. I love the unconditional joy that animals can bring and it’s so important that our fur babies stay safe and happy! I have 3 rescue dogs who are friendly with everyone they meet. I also have two young children at home so it’s important to ask me my availability with as much notice as possible. “We were so pleased to have Jane take care of our dog over the holidays. She provided daily photos, videos and updates. Milo was clearly happy in her care and we would definitely have him stay with her again!”

“Melissa was great! She gave frequent updates on our dogs while boarding with her. She is very fast to respond to questions. Would definitely book her again for our next trip!”

“If I could leave more stars I would. Stephanie went above and beyond with Josie. She has separation anxiety and rarely is away from me. Stephanie’s caring, patience, and love she showed Josie made a world of difference. She truly cares for the dogs she watches as if they are her own. She kept me updated with texts, sent pictures, and videos. I can’t explain how much I appreciate Stephanie (and her whole family) for taking such good care of Josie!”

“First time using Rover and had a fantastic experience! Our pet sitter, Gabbi, maintained great communication throughout the entire process. She was easy to coordinate with, which gave us real peace of mind. Her space is well-kept, with plenty of area for our dog to relax, go on walks, and stay active. We especially appreciated the regular picture updates-it was reassuring to see our dog happy and well cared for. We will definitely be having her watch our dog again.”

“Miss Mary is super awesome. We felt bad for leaving our baby girl behind but she made it all better. My girl loves her and so do we. We both feel so comfortable at her place. The best part is knowing my girl is in good hands and being love. Highly recommend miss Mary to anyone who needs a someone loves animals.”

“Richard took amazing care of our pup, Porter, while we were gone for a week. Richard communicated promptly and would always send pictures and videos of Porter. His dog, Bruce, was super sweet and got along great with our dog which also provided great activity and engagement during the day. Highly recommend hiring Richard to watch your furry family member, as we felt that our boy was in great hands the entire time.”
