Samantha is a wonderful sitter who showed a great deal of patience with my dog (who can be anxious around people he doesn't know). She worked with us and was flexible with scheduling. I highly recommend her!

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life . 30 + years. I currently have a 7 yr old Scottish terrier who gets lots of walks & exercise daily. Family & Friends always rely on me to help take care of their fur babies! A walk a day will keep the vet away for your babies ! My schedule is flexible for dog care/ drop ins rain or shine ! I can come morning & late afternoon/ evening. Weekends I have more open availability. I like to make sure a pet gets a well timed lengthy walk with lots of attention for their walk/drop in. I treat any dog like my own. Lots of TLC & attention. I like to establish trust with the dog and build off that ! I treat every pet with extreme love, safety & care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. I currently work part time but I’m available usually after 9am throughout the week. I do work weekends usually but I can be flexible with stopping in the morning and evenings times for your fur babies. I am temporarily in a transition moving right now, for the Army National Guard. I am living at Home until I receive my new orders. So I will come to you for any of your visits you need for your fur babies!

About: 🐾 I’m absolutely obsessed with cats—and honestly, that’s the biggest reason I’m here. Rover isn’t just a side thing for me… I genuinely love spending time with cats and getting to know all their unique personalities. At home, I care for three cats of my own, so I understand everything from playtime energy to quiet, independent moods. I’m also known locally as a stray cat feeder and caretaker, and I always keep cat food in my car—because you truly never know when a hungry kitty might need help. Caring for animals isn’t something I “turn on”—it’s just part of who I am every day. While cats are my specialty, I’ve recently been spending more time around dogs as well and have become increasingly comfortable and confident with them. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When you trust me with your pet, you’re getting someone who is: ✔️ Reliable & responsive ✔️ Gentle, patient, and detail-oriented ✔️ Experienced with multiple-cat households ✔️ Truly passionate about animal care I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—with love, respect, and close attention to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very flexible and able to travel, so feel free to reach out with whatever you need—I’m happy to make it work!! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

About: (she/her/hers) I mean, who WOULDN'T adore those two orange boys? 🥰🥰 Chili and Chalupa were adopted from Rocky Mountain Feline Rescue in Denver, Colorado, in January 2023. They rule the house, and I can't wait to love your pet like I love them! I am often available for same day appointments within a 3 mile radius of Slingerlands. I am flexible with responsibilities as well- let me know if you want your space left a certain way (AC on, bathroom door closed, etc) and I'll make sure you have peace of mind about your home while you're out. I love taking photos of your pets! I often send lots of updates during walks and drop ins, from when I get there, to what we're doing, to one more before I go. **Please be aware of and respect my service radius and availability windows. My lower sitting fees are a result of a smaller service area and limited availability due to a separate work schedule. If you need a walk, please book a walk and not a drop in. Drop ins are for fenced in private yards, cat visits, and other similar situations.** I have a very flexible schedule and I am happy to commit to both long and short term care. Travel in the Guilderland area is not a problem. Please don't hesitate to send a message if you aren't sure I can meet your needs. I'd love to chat! I am known for being very thorough in cleaning up after myself, whether that's keeping your kitchen clean or cleaning up after dogs on a walk.

About: I’ve owned dogs ever since I was 8, and I’ve always loved and cared for them with no question. I love to feed, walk, bathe, and just hangout with dogs. Can’t wait to meet all of your pups!!! I’m currently a full time online college student that sets her own schedule! I am pretty open and free all day to hangout with pups! I have a large fenced yard and I always bring running shoes because I know some dogs love to play! And some even love to try and make escapes, which is why I’ll always have treats and commands ready!

About: Hello!! My Name is Nina! I have taken care of dogs since I was 12 years old, including my own two, Gus and Sammy. I have walked my neighbors dogs and friends/family. My dogs are my family, and I promise to treat yours the same! I am currently part time in school and have a lot of extra time on my hands. This is a perfect job for me and I love dogs so I will have fun doing it! Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. They can be there for you more than some humans can. For my dogs at home, Sammy and gus, I take them for 2-3 walks a day and bring them to the dog park. I make sure whenever we get back they are always taken care of and hydrated. I will do the same for your dogs and give them anything they may need!

About: Hello my name is Jason, I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to your dog's unique personality and energy levels. I prioritize safety and engagement above all else. I provide consistent updates, ensuring you always have peace of mind while your pet is in my care. I treat every furry friend like family and look forward to making our walks the highlight of their day! What I offer: M-F Mid day around 11am-1pm And afternoon from 4pm-8pm Weekends: Anytime! Please reach out for other hours as I am flexible, and would love to make it work! Since I offer both in-home visits and boarding, my approach focuses on maintaining your pet's comfort and routine regardless of the setting. Here is how I handle care for both: When I visit your home, the goal is to keep your pet’s environment as stable as possible. Routine Maintenance: I follow your specific feeding, medication, and exercise schedules to the letter so your pet feels like you never left. Security & Safety: I ensure your home is secure upon arrival and departure. I also check for any household hazards or messes that need tidying. Quality Companionship: Beyond the essentials, I spend dedicated time playing, brushing, or just sitting with your pet to alleviate any separation anxiety. Boarding (My House) When a pet stays with me, I treat them like a temporary member of my own family. Safe Space: I provide a clean, pet-proofed environment with designated areas for resting, eating, and play. Supervised Socialization: If I have other pets in the house, all interactions are closely supervised and introduced slowly to ensure everyone stays happy and safe. Constant Monitoring: I keep a close eye on behavior, appetite, and energy levels to ensure they are adjusting well to the new surroundings. The Golden Rule: No matter the location, I prioritize fresh water, clear communication (including "pupdates"), and lots of positive reinforcement. My goal is a happy, relaxed pet and total peace of mind for you.

About: In addition to dogs and cats, I love and have cared for many animals my entire life. I grew up caring for the family cat, dog sitting for friends and family, and working for the Prospect Park Zoo in NYC. As an adult I've volunteered for multiple animal shelters, and now care for my own baby Tortoise. As someone with a pet myself, I know how important it is that your sitter adores and respects your animals' needs. I prioritize your animal's health, safety, and happiness! I am a graduate student, giving me a pretty flexible schedule! I am typically completely free Thursday through Sunday. Drop off visits are possible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, especially in the mornings or later at night. Making sure pets get the attention they need is a top priority for me. Being a student, writer, and researcher, I work mostly at home. This allows me to spend additional time hanging out with those pets that enjoy some human company. I also love hiking, walking, and spending time outdoors. So if your pup needs to get some energy out in the woods, I'll be more than happy to be their guide! I can house small pets for a night or two - I live in a ~700 square foot apartment with a balcony and ample access to the outdoors. But someone cannot always be home, so cats and independent small dogs are preferred.

Lianna was wonderful! I knew my fur baby was being well taken care of. She knew I was anxious leaving my baby so she sent me multiple pictures of every outing so I could see how Tessie was? She was prompt, fed Tessie and made sure she took her medicine everyday for her chronic condition. I highly recommend Lianna if you are in need of pet sitter/walker. I have already booked her again for my next out of town trip when I cannot take my baby.
