“Cassandra is wonderful. Such a relief having someone like her take care of our 4 pets! She sent lots of photos and you could see how much our animals loved having her. We didn't have to worry about a thing. When we came home, everything was just as we left it, even though one of our pups decided to destroy one of her toys! Cassandra cleaned that all up. Definently reccommend her and we will definitely request her again! Thank you!”

“Betty provided drop in service for my pup Roxie for for 30 mins a day for 2 weeks. This was my first time utilizing Rover. Betty has such a kind, sweet spirit and you can easily tell within minutes of meeting that she loves animals! She was also flexible with activities requests that were modified due to changing weather. Roxie was thrilled to be able to play fetch in the backyard or go for walks (if/when it rained) mid day every day! Betty was very responsive and interactive by providing pics/videos during her daily visit. I will definitely contact her again when future needs arise!”

“Hannah was great, we did a couple meet and greets but this was her first full week sitting for our great danes. They can be overwhelming for sitters but she was really calm and loving with them. Sent lots of pics, daily updates, checked mail, kept the plants alive and fed my daughters reptile! Definitely recommend and will rebook in the future.”

About: I have been, always will be a dog lover! I've owned several breeds over the years in all sizes and temperaments...from an oversized cuddly 90-lb American Bulldog to a boss-lady 15-lb dachshund. Right now, we have our 2nd lady dachshund who has yet to meet a stranger in dog or human form, one "big baby" Doberman, and one indoor/outdoor cat who will cuddle up right next to the dogs! I have 2 kids who have been around our dogs and dog parks their entire lives and we have "trained" them how to behave around dogs. Our last 3 pups we have each gotten at 8-10 weeks old so I am knowledgeable about the time, effort, and training puppies need from the beginning. I have also cared for my former boss' elderly dog several times at our home for weeks at a time who has round-the-clock medication and potty needs...she no longer boards him at a kennel! We have kept family and friends' pups at our home when they're on trips or having work done on homes, and have made visits to their home during extended working days. *I work for a local school system during the week so my weekday availability is around school hours. Just message me for particular scheduling requests! **I am not currently offering boarding or doggy daycare since we have recently moved and do not have our full fencing in place yet. Hopefully I will be able to activate those services again soon! While not a requirement, if at all possible I do prefer every new booking to have a brief meet & greet so your pup(s) or kitty can get acquainted with me! I've found it also helps put the owners at ease to get to meet me beforehand and get to communicate all the ins and outs of the environment and routine. Pet care is already built into my life with two pups and a cat of our own at home! Since I work for a local school system, my weekday availability is around school hours. Just reach out for specific scheduling requests! Any pup guests that visit will have full run of our home, and time and space to assimilate on their own terms. My pup also recognizes and respects any boundaries another dog sets too. Guest pups tend to see me as "mother hen" and I frequently have a gaggle of animals following me all around my house! I make a conscious effort with supervision, attention, and reassurance to ensure any guest pup knows he/she can trust me and feels safe in our home. As for in a pet's own home, the more routine and personality quirks I'm aware of the better! I am a calm and confident pet person in both a solo situation or if we encounter another pet on our walk, and I can respect the pet's own personality and/or need for more or less space and energy.

“Had a drop in visit rhis time and it went great. Rachel is the best. We love and trust her and can enjoy our time away without worry. She is great with our dogs and a great communicator.”

“Lauren did an outstanding job with Minnie. She surpassed all expectations and we were really grateful for all she did. Lauren has a great attitude and genuinely will love and care for your animals just as you do. We will be reaching out to Lauren again in the near future and would definitely recommend her to anybody looking for a great sitter!”

About: I stand out for my hands-on experience with senior and sick dogs, offering gentle, attentive care. I’m also known for being dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. I am currently in esthetician school part time, I have all the time to play with & make sure your pup is happy and healthy!!! I follow all instructions and notes from clients intently to ensure a positive, and safe experience in the clients home and for their fur baby!!!

“Very caring and attentive. She came over the day before to meet my dog and go over our routine. I’d forgotten to ask her to refill my dog’s food, but she reached out to me to ask how much food to give her.”

“We loved Andrea! Her reports were humorous and thorough. Our kitties were well loved and cared for. It was super hard to be away for so long, but Andrea made it such better. We'll definitely hire her again for our next trip.”

About: Vacations shouldn't just be for the pet parents, the pets should get a new fun experience too. This is why I strive to keep in step with your pet's routines whilst also adding some fun enrichment, ample physical activities, and extra helpings of love and attention. In addition to walks; if your dog is a social butterfly, like me, and they frequent the dog parks; let's go! I have a vehicle built for pet field trips/adventures! I have a gift for helping injured or sick animals recover as well , I just haven't had the opportunity to care for a special needs dog yet. That being said, I am willing to learn and follow your routines for them. I am very dedicated to learning more pet care skills. I even rehabbed an injured squirrel for about a year until she returned to the wild. So, I am skilled in helping pets that may need extra help/care or medical issues that require a little more attention. I am also a Licensed Massage and Cupping Therapist, though I am not certified specifically in pet massage, when I do give a dog a massage....They LOVE it! I am also willing to care for pets other than dogs or cats; within reason of course....not sure I am equipped for Lions, Tigers, or Bears... OH MY! So, reach out let's set up a meet & greet; I would love to come out and meet you and your pets to see if we are a good fit! I have most days free. I occasionally do some pick-up work on some nights here and there, however, it would not be for a great deal of hours, and I am able to get home (or to your pets) at a decent time on those evenings. I do prefer to meet both you and your pets first, before taking on a care request, to assess safety for myself and the pet as well as understanding their surroundings. This allows me and you to evaluate if we are a good fit. I believe this is the first step in creating a solid foundation for a safe and fun experience for all involved. Especially, until your pet(s) and I get to know each other better, I would say I am hypervigilant in the beginning; not just for safety precautions but also to understand their routines, needs, communication styles, learning styles, training levels, etc... I am at their side anytime we go out. Even if you have a fenced in backyard I will either be out there playing with them and helping them get in some physical activity or I watch them closely from a window or door. As we learn more about each other, I take great care in developing solid communication with your pet so that they can understand and respond well. The more "simpatíca" we are, the more trust is built, the better responds to commands, which in turn strengthen that foundation of safety. Beyond the pet safety, If I am house sitting for you, I strive to keep your home safe and clean. I will respect and protect your home as if it were mine. Even If I am not house sitting and only doing drop-ins or walks. I will stay observant and keep your home safe as well; let you know if anything seems amiss, grab your mail so no one knows you aren't at home, rotate which rooms lights are on in your house, etc... A safe environment means a safe pet! I am also good at communicating with the pet parents throughout my booked care time via pictures, videos, texts, and calls. My goal is to make sure no pet parents even have to wonder how their pet is doing. I prefer to keep you in the loop so it's not you having to reach out to me. Communication is key for creating the safest most comfortable environment for any pet.
