“Five stars is not enough! I really cannot say enough good things about Kaylah. She showed up promptly for the meet and greet, she took actual notes on the dogs, their behavior, and their routine. She listened to us describe their many quirks and she knew exactly how to handle our fearful dog, Sabrina. She was super communicative and sent us pictures of the dogs hanging out, which was wonderful because it was their first time being without us.”

About: I am great with animals, I'm also a big fan of animals in general. Many weekends you can find me at the zoo, and I know an unnecessary amount of animal fun facts. I grew up with a cat, dog, and my own tropical fish aquarium. I have plenty experience walking dogs, both my own, and dogs belonging to members of the community in NYC. I have a pampered pet cat, and know that they shouldn't be treated the same as dogs. Cats: - Experience with many cats - Cat sit for friends and family - Happy to clean litter boxes - Will bring cat toys - Understand that cats have complex emotions Dogs: - Used to tri-daily walking schedule - Happy to pick up poop - Listed as a trusted dog walker for BAIP - Know that dogs take time to trust people Other: - Won't overfeed fish - Just tell me how to care for your pet, and I'm on it As of right now, my schedule is completely open, and I am more than happy to work around whatever schedule works best for you. Just let me know! Each animal is unique to each household, and my philosophy when it comes to animal care, is trusting that the owners know best. In other words, I follow exactly what the owners tell me to do. If you tell me that your Great Dane will only go potty if I spin around in circles 3 times, then it looks like I'm spinning. When it comes to animals trusting me, I understand that trust isn't inherent. Generally it come from the correct tone, getting on their level, and as many pats and treats as necessary.

About: I have many animals at home and love taking care of them. I have watched and taken care of many pets throughout my childhood and find a connection with eat pet to help them trust me. “Rob did a wonderful job taking care of my dog and cat, and administered medicine when my dog broke out in a rash. I will definitely book him again”

About: I've owned and cared for cats and dogs my whole life and want the opportunity to care for yours while you're away! I recently had to put down my sweet Marta (Dachshund & Chihuahua) of 16 years and i am looking to fill the void of her absence until I'm ready to own a new puppy. I will show each and every animal the love and care they deserve while under my watch. I work full time with NYS DOT and have been for 12 years. I work Monday to Friday from 0700 - 3:30 p.m. Any time after that I am available to assist you with your pet care needs. Saturdays and Sundays I am free all day. I have my front and back doors always closed to ensure no accidental escapes occur. I let my dog on the couch/furniture as my home is their home.

About: Animals and nature have been my greatest passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve been exposed to, and well acquainted to a variety of animals, including fish, rodents, reptiles, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and even a baby squirrel rescue! I am also a volunteer dog walker at my local shelter, which is my therapy and brings me great happiness. I have two dogs of my own that I’ve raised since they were eight weeks old. They are my entire world. I am knowledgeable in basic dog training and obedience, and very observant and understanding of animal behavior. Nothing brings me more joy and happiness in life than being surrounded by the love and purity of animals. I currently have open availability. I have a very flexible and adaptable schedule and I am open to what works best for you and your pets needs. I am with my dogs all day everyday. They get all of my love and attention. I constantly monitor for potential hazards and act accordingly in order to limit any risks. Cleanliness and order is my main priority as I value a clean and tidy home. I have fresh water out all day and I feed them twice a day. My dogs get a specialized high end kibble which I supplement with fresh meat, organ, eggs, fruits, veggies, goats milk, coconut oil, bone broth, salmon oil, turmeric and a daily vitamin. I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. I only have high quality chew bones and other toys available that don’t pose a risk as my dogs are heavy chewers.

About: I’ve taken care of lots of pets over the years. I enjoy being around animals and showing them love because they do the same for us! I have a fenced in back yard and just one cat. I’m able to keep them separated if needed. I also have my own home and it’s a smoke free one! I’m very clean and clean my home daily. I let my cat on the couches so yours will be allowed the same if they are not dirty of course.

“Julia was such a great dog sitter for my dog. He’s used to me being around 24/7 so I’m always worried about leaving him home alone. She took great care of him and put up with all his weird quirks and routines.”

Looking to make some extra money. I am a stay at home mom so your animals would not be alone at all! I love all animals! Happy to help and love on yours while you're away!

About: I’ve taken care of several dogs over the years. One of the dogs was an older dog who needed me to stay at the house for two weeks and give up to 6 medications a day, so I have experience with elderly dogs. I have also watched 3 week old kittens for an entire week and had bottle feed them every 4-6 hours, so I have experience with young animals like that as well. In addition I have taken care of dogs who are very territorial, and am able to read their body language well to ensure a safe visit for me and the dog too. I’m currently working full time at UHS. Although while I’m at work your pet will be home, I have most weekends off and visit the pets right before and immediately after work. I make sure when I’m in a client’s home I’m not only kind to the animals, but to the house as well. I absolutely love all animals so I give them as much attention as I can because that’s what I would want for my pets. And I update the owner as many times as they ask me to so that they can feel at ease being away from their pet.

“First time using rover and messaged with a couple people before booking Charity. Wasn’t sure I’d like using this for my pup after speaking with other sitters but Charity was fantastic! Pretty sure my pup was disappointed when I walked in the door after my trip instead of her. Very responsive, accommodating, and professional. Won’t use anyone else but her. She could easily be charging double what she is and it would be worth it.”

“Vincent was amazing with my two pitties - he kept me updated throughout the day with photos and notes on how they were doing. I get a little anxious leaving them overnight, but he was great to work with and put my mind at ease. My dogs can be a little leash reactive and one of them gets a shot every other day on top of a few other medications, but he was able to handle all of that no problem. I definitely recommend him and will be booking with him in the future!”

“Tanya expertly cared for my sometimes challenging dog, including managing her medication and some last-minute dietary changes. Would absolutely recommend you hire her!”

Samuel S.
“Sam is honestly just a really nice guy who cares for all animals he takes care of- furry or scaly. I have an American ball python and had to be out of town for a little while. I was really nervous because people are often so flippant with care for reptiles, but Sam really cared for her. He made sure to send me multiple updates about the humidity and temperature of the tank, and pictures of course. He did a lot of prior research as well as took detailed notes of my instructions on how to handle and feed her. When I came back, her tank was clean, she was happily fed, and the temperature and humidity was perfect. Sam is a very thorough and overall great pet sitter!”

Angelina Z.

She is dependable and a hard worker and has always been an amazing role model to others. Angelina strives to make the world a better place and is a pleasure to be around. Anyone who has relied on her for babysitting, pet sitting, classroom support, volunteering, or any type of employment, have always requested to have her back and have relied on her quality care and work ethic.”
