“Adriana has been an absolute gem! My dog struggles with people anxiety, and she has shown nothing but patience, kindness, and understanding from day one. She took the time to earn his trust at his own pace, and I’ve seen such positive changes in his comfort level and confidence. It’s clear she truly cares about the animals she works with, and I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her care. Highly recommend Adriana to anyone looking for a compassionate and reliable sitter—especially if your pet needs a little extra TLC!”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I was 12 years old. I have often found myself sought out by pets that have been written off by others as behaviorally difficult or crazy. Throughout the years, these unique individuals have taught me over and over the power of careful listening with an open mind, patient consistency, and flexible expectations. They have taught me what it means to slow down and just be without judgement. I have a deep respect for the lives and lessons that our furry friends gift to us so freely and am honored to be able to provide dignity and care back to them as thanks. I am currently being supported by my spouse while I explore the viability of making pet care my full-time career so I will be able to dedicate all my time and attention to your furry loved ones. I know that every pet and pet family is unique, with individual needs and preferences. As such, I like to learn as much information and as many details as possible about each potential client, as to what works best for them and their pet(s), so as to ensure I am able to meet them where they are at before making a commitment to care. Once an agreement has been established, I like check-ins with honest feedback to see where adjustments are needed. This way I and my clients can be assured that their furry loved ones are receiving the best care possible.

“Audra is amazing! She is dependable and she goes the extra mile. She is the only dog walker we have ever had that gives our dogs a solid long walk that tires them out!”

About: I'm a lifelong animal lover/parent. Our pets are members of our families, and I'll treat yours as if they were my own. Young, old, special diet, medicine requirements, finicky, playful - I'll be there for them. I have two very independent cats of my own with their own home care routine if I need to be away. I am available when you need someone any day/night of the week. In my home, there is another pet parent which frees me to be there for yours when you need a sitter, feeder, or walks. We have cats and dogs in our immediate area, and I provide sitting services already for my neighbors. You provide instructions for your loved one(s) and I'll follow them!

“Yvette is one of the best walkers that we’ve had! She was great and communicating and following up on requests. More importantly, she cared for Xander as if he were her own pup and I could tell he always had a great time with her! She was our daily walker for many months and we’re sad to be moving away from her! Thanks for everything!!”

About: Having grown up in constant close companionship with animals for my entire life, I have a deep innate understanding of their language and behavior. I have a general love and fascination with the nuances of animal lives and the ways that they connect to their human companions - this fascination leads me to be constantly seeking out evidence-based information, so that I continue to grow as an animal caretaker. I work an intense job with flexible hours, enabling me to do some intermittent daytime pet support if the location is close enough. I'm most available in the evenings and on weekends. Some days there are crises that can delay my pet care up to one hour, but I have never had any animal be anywhere near neglected while in my care. I find working with any and all animals to be incredibly healing, so this is not extra work for me - no matter what, I bring my entire heart with me to care for your animals. I have found that each individual person & pet has their own needs for comfort, security, and trust. Always bringing my basic foundation of kindness, attention, collaboration and respect, I will quickly get to know you and your pets so that I can provide the best care for them and be as easy as possible to work with for you!

I’m currently in school full time and work at a animal hospital part time let me know your needs and I will work you into my schedule! About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was about 10 years old. I’ve had one cat of my own and 4 dogs. Loved each of them dearly. Dog mom to Pepper! My crazy maltipoo! Currently working part time for medical purposes so I’ll have plenty of time to enjoy your four legged family members! That certainly sounds great to me! I will not be taking care of your pets in my home as I live in an apartment and have my maltipoo. I will be taking care of them in your home using the food you provide, doing potty breaks and picking up poo as needed with a scooper, shovel, or potty bags you’ve provided. Of course giving lots of hugs, rubs, and a nice walk around the block or two staying respectful of your instructions!

About: Aside from raising my own 3 fur babies (2 cats and 1 dog- all older babies now), I’ve helped take care of others’ pets from large dobies to small kittens. As my title states, I’m an RN and am very comfortable with giving medications to fur babies (as I do with humans) as well as taking care of any illness issues within reason (wound care/ monitoring / accidents). When it comes to senior care of animals, I understand (as I have 2 of my own) the need for them to get extra special love and attention, and medication to keep them as happy and healthy as possible. I believe in making pets as comfortable as possible and letting them know that I’m there to help and give love (if they want). When it comes to dog walking, I’m really vigilant about our surroundings and making sure that dogs get a good safe walk. I definitely gravitate towards animals over humans haha. I work part-time out of town, and so I have a lot of time spent at home with my own animals. I want to spend any free time I have to help others while I’m not home. I prefer to spend time with pets as much as allowed in their home while also following routines previously set for them. Whether it’s playing out in the back yard, or just hanging out together on the carpet and relaxing, I like the pet to know that I’m there and not alone. If crating is necessary or part of the dogs routine, I can do that too.

About: Working for dog kennels and groomers while attending school gave me so much joy! I've spent over a decade as an HR manager in a high pressure organization. I recently decided to change career paths and put my health first. This fall I'll begin a program with ADI to become a certified service dog trainer. I have lots of spare time and love to give to your doggie or kitty while you are away. As my teenager has become tired of my "cringy" hugs & kisses. 😁😊 I have years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and even horses. Through rescue organizations and fostering abandoned dogs and cats myself. Giving medicine, house training, and more. Your pet will be in safe hands with me! I'm also available for video call check-ins to give you peace of mind while away. I'm a stay at home mother with plenty of free time. Experienced in caregiving to older pets as well as young puppies. Plenty of time to play, walk, and cuddle! In the past an officer boarded his service dog with us who had a strict schedule which I can provide as well. I have a large fenced backyard free of any hazardous items. Traveling to you and working in your home is perfectly okay with me. I'm very flexible and willing to meet your needs. I can even do a combo.

About: My fiancé has been working for Rover for 7 years and I have helped him do visits many times. He is always helping me and is an expert. I grew up with dogs my whole life and own 2 schnauzer's, so I know how to treat them. I’m currently a student pilot in training with a flexible schedule. Given enough notice I can take care of pets any day of the week. I prefer not do early morning visits but I can do them if necessary. I always will walk dogs with leashes and I am very careful not to let any animals escape when I’m entering or leaving a property.

About: I have 15 years experience, caring for cats and dogs from all walks of life. I have experience administering medicine, and two pets of my own that are quite spunky. I have taken care of animals with special needs and spent many hours volunteering in shelters and animal hospitals. I’ve taken courses on understanding animal behavior and understand the patience that comes with making a connection to your fur babies. I work full-time from home with extreme flexibility. I am usually out and about during the day anyways, and would love to spend some time caring for my communities fur babies! My spunky cat doesn’t really allow for any pet sitting in our home unless it is during the cooler season where your dog can hang out back with my dog. I’m extremely flexible and have experience doing overnight boarding in the owner’s home or doing multiple drop in visits during the day and night. I love sending pictures and videos of playtime and detailed updates of how the visits are going. I use Rover for my own pets so I understand exactly what an owner is looking for in a sitter!

Riley R.
“To Prospective Clients, I am delighted to provide a personal reference for my daughter, Riley, who is offering her services as a dog walker and dog sitter through Rover. As Riley’s mother, I have seen first-hand her natural connection with animals thanks to a lifetime of living with a variety of pets. Our family has included dogs, cats, a tortoise, a gecko, and, for a time, chickens. Riley has helped care for every one of them with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine love. Riley has always been surrounded by animals and has grown up with dogs, cats, a tortoise, and, for a time, even chickens. This extensive experience has given her a deep understanding of animal care and behavior, as well as the ability to handle a variety of pet personalities and needs. She is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. When Riley commits to caring for pets, she ensures their needs are met with the highest level of attention and kindness. She makes sure they are well-fed, given plenty of exercise, and, most importantly, cared for with patience and genuine affection. Animals naturally gravitate toward her gentle and caring manner. If you are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and animal-loving person to look after your furry (or feathered or scaled!) family members, I wholeheartedly recommend Riley If you have any questions or would like to speak further about Riley's experience, please feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Anna Ramseier”

“Kelly has been a dependable sitter who’s gone above and beyond for me and my dog. My dog got pretty sick after he decided to eat a roll of dog poop bags. our vet told us we’d have to watch for him to pass in his BM or else he’d need surgery and she helped watch him during the night while I had to go to work to make sure he was okay while I was gone. She made sure he was hydrated and passed the roll of bags whole. She really cared for him like a mom staying up with their sick kid. I can’t appreciate that enough.”

“Thank you Sara for walking my active puppy Buckley! He loves going on walks with you and you have been so kind and easy to work with! I will be using you again!!”
