My stepdad was the head of animal control, which taught me a lot about animal behavior, safety, and compassion at a young age. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently share my heart (and couch!) with two of my own—Sassy, my sweet 17-year-old dachshund who I’ve had since 2011, and Oakley, a playful 6-year-old lab I adopted from the local animal shelter. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home most of the week, which allows me to give my dogs plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. On the days I’m in the office, I’m only five minutes from home, so I’m able to come back easily to let my dogs out and check in on them. Their well-being is always a top priority, and I structure my day to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for—I’d do the same for yours! I care for pets in whatever way is most comfortable for them. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. They are very accommodating and it really felt like they loved having our boy around for the weekend! They took our preferences and instructions very seriously and were extremely comfortable with taking Mel for plenty of walks, both on and off leash, to make sure that he got more than enough time to exercise and play. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend these two. I am very new to the area, just 1 month here. I used to were I came from. I would love to continue! I take my own animals on walks multiple times a day, they're very friendly and would love some company on their walks! I have a cat and a dog so I won't accept unfriendly animals for anything but walks either. I live in an apartment building, I go on 5-7 walks minimum a day with my dog and sometimes cat. We have many toys and play lots. The animals are my priority.
