We have smaller fences for playing but we mostly leash (long leash or off leash if applicable) walk 3/4 times per day with additional potty breaks as needed. I own an amazing senior pit bull, a young blue heeler , horses, goats, of course a few cats. I specialize in working with troubled horses & dogs. I have a lot of experience with working dogs (Shepards, heelers, etc) & bully breeds. I work from home 95% of the time. I truly enjoy meeting new pets and to spend quality with your fur babies. I have an outstanding amount of experience with many different animals and behaviors. I have worked in a dog grooming facility & along side vets. It was an amazing experience. We are willing to work with all your pets needs. We have our house set up so that the dogs do not have to interact if they don’t desire but are welcome to play and interact should they wish. We aim to keep every pet safe, happy and healthy! We are happy to watch your pup for short or extended length stays. Please make sure all pets are up to date on shots and flea/tick. We appreciate it! We can offer add-ons to your experience as well. They include pickup, drop off, bathing, light grooming, & training. We hope to hear from you soon and be in contact to watch all your fur children! Thanks for your time! We will see you soon! I make my own schedule so have a generous amount of flexibility. I work from home as well. We strive for the best care possible. About: Hi, I’m Ray! I’m based near Hudson and a proud lifelong animal lover. I grew up right here in the area—actually, I spent my early years on a farm surrounded by all kinds of animals. Our home was always full of dogs and cats, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. These days, it’s just me and my pup Biscuit, but my love for animals hasn’t changed a bit. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own. I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to work with you to meet your animals needs. If you have any questions or want to know more, feel free to send me a message—I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I work over at a cafe part time in Hudson! My schedule is flexible:) I couldn’t be present at all times of the day though. I have an apartment with a yard. Your animal could stay over or I can house sit if that’s easier. I have many references off this app

About: I've had a family dog my whole life. I joined the Army in 2009 and after getting injured in Afghanistan, when I got back to the states, I adopted my first dog in 2012 on my own, a beagle named Bubba, who became my PTSD service dog. After being medically discharged in 2014, I moved back to NY state. In 2015, I adopted my beagle mix Bailey, who was a handful to train as her past was riddled with unfortunate events. However, she is now a social butterfly and loves everything and everyone. In 2016, I adopted my third dog, Harlow, a Bluetick Coonhound. So I have 3 hounds and I like to think that I'm very good at taking care of dogs and animals. I regularly bathe, walk, and feed animals for family and friends when they need a sitter. I'm very patient (thank you US Army) and always give the utmost care to whatever task I am given. I'm currently working part time, so my schedule is very flexible. I am unable to stay at anyone's house or board animals, as I do have my own 3 (though I have an amazing partner and he takes care of our pups also). I can easily follow specific directions you have for your pets needs, such as crating, potty break times, play/walking and will treat your pets/home as if they were my own. I currently am working part-time and I am self-employed, so I am very flexible with my schedule and can take care of your pups at any time I can easily follow specific directions you have for your pets needs, such as crating, potty break times, play/walking and will treat your pets/home as if they were my own.

He’s an absolute sweetheart and loves all other pets and people. I’ve had him by my side since May 2022 and he’s brought so much joy into my life. I have many years of experience with dogs. I’m currently taking a class Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 10 pm in the area. Besides those 8 hours a week, my availability is completely open. I’m someone that’s always cleaning. My home is clean and I leave others homes clean too. My home is always clear of choking hazards or any dangerous materials to keep the pups safe. I currently live in a 2100 sqt home on 11 acres. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was five years old and continued to get more dogs. I have dog sat for multiple friends and family rating from dogs and cats. As far as training animals, I did grow up with having to train them so I do have some experience. I am currently working part time and go to community college but will be able to manage and work out a schedule that will be accommodating. I have 3 dogs that have invisible fences outside so they can roam free without getting lost, going to the road, running off. I have a big yard surrounding my house so they are used to running around freely. When it gets too cold they come in to the house or garage with my father. I am used to walking dogs as they do get walked on occasion at home or if we have them out of the house. I do not off offer services that welcome pets into my house but I am accommodating as necessary and will offer services at your residency.

About: Hello! I’m Jess, and I provide specialized walking and drop-in visits across the Catskill, Hudson, and greater Columbia/Greene County area. I don’t just walk dogs; I use every visit as an opportunity to build confidence, improve focus, and reinforce leash manners. My approach is built entirely on modern, science based Positive Reinforcement and LIMA (Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive) principles. I believe in rewarding behaviors we want to see, helping dogs learn safely, without the use of intimidation or aversive tools. I am currently completing dog training and behavior studies through the CATCH Academy curriculum. This ongoing education ensures your dog is in the hands of an informed and committed professional. I currently work part time on Sundays and Wednesdays, so I have plenty of time during the week to give your pets plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I focus on leash manners during every walk to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience. I can work with dogs on impulse control skills to help reduce pulling through positive reinforcement and force free training methods. If your dog has any triggers I will work to maintain distance and reward when calm to ensure success and keep stress to a minimum for your pup.

About: Hi, I’m Abigail! I recently moved back to the Hudson Valley to develop my career in the environmental field. I’m currently working a hybrid position in ecological restoration. When I'm not spending time nature and with plants, I love caring for animals! Growing up with animals in my household ranging from cats to dogs (to even turtles and birds) has given me an affinity to not just adore all types of animals, but has given me the proper skills to understand the responsibility of caring for an animal. I understand that all animals are unique in what makes them feel comfortable and loved and will always do what is best to ensure the safety and comfortability of your pet! For dogs: - A meet and greet would be a great idea beforehand to get to know both you and your dog, so I can provide the best service possible! - I love being outdoors as much as I can, so I plan to take your dog for long walks as much as I can! - As for potty breaks, I think three times a day is the minimum. Once in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime. However, if I am not working, I can take them out as much as you/they desire! - Maintaining your pets feeding routine is very important and I take special care to be considerate of any special dietary needs. - Lastly, I know it can be hard for some animals to be separated from their loved ones. I will make sure they are feeling loved while they are under my care. For cats: - I currently care for an orange tabby rescue, named Hugo, who can be a bit needy, (although him being special only makes me love him more!), so I understand that cats can require a lot of attention and love, and I will ensure to give them plenty while they are under my care. - Cleanliness is very important when caring for cats, as the owner and of a cat, I know my cat can get upset if his litter box is not kept in pristine condition, and when caring for your cat I will do the same! - Diet is just as important for animals as it is for humans. Feeding your pet according to their needs is something I will take seriously. I work a hybrid position, with some days in the field, some days at home. I’m never out of the house for more than 8 hours for work. That said, I can be pretty flexible to accommodate your schedule. If I am unable to meet the needs requested I will be sure to give as much notice as possible. In a clients home, I like to keep things tidy and work within the boundaries discussed with the client. Cleanliness is important to me and I appreciate staying in homes that are kept in generally good condition. I try to mirror the animal's usual routine in a home and prioritize everyone’s comfortability.

About: I have worked a lot with both ends of the spectrum in terms of activity: I enjoy sleepy dogs as well as hounds. I have a Hungarian Vizsla back home, who is essentially a hunting dog—and I enjoy seeing her tired at the end of the day. Currently, my main occupation is writing a senior thesis. I do that successfully in between and around pet-sitting gigs. I only have three classes a week, so taking care of dogs and cats is a perfect commitment that I love to pursue At my client's houses, I make sure to maintain a safe environment in which pets do not come into contact with anything or anyone that poses even the slightest risk to their health and well-being.
