“We are visiting Kanab from out of town and found ourselves with tickets to The Wave hike and decided not to bring our dogs. We found Lori on Rover and she was a godsend! One of our dogs is crazy and barks at everything and everyone, and Lori managed to let herself into our rental house and charm the crazy dog! It was great knowing that our dogs were taken care of while we were out exploring. Thanks, Lori!”

“Catey is awesome!! She is very experienced and helped me figure out a plan that was best for my little cat. She’s trustworthy and responsible. I would highly recommend having Catey watch your pet.”

About: Visiting the national parks in Southern Utah? If you are visiting the national parks, your family can relax and enjoy the area. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! I will make sure your dog feels right at home. We also have experience with shy and unconfident dogs and rescues. I look forward to meeting you and your pups! My normal hours are 6 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week. We can care for your pet with confidence when you are visiting Zion National Park and North Rim of the Grand Canyon and other parks around Kanab! We take dogs outside for potty breaks every 1 to 2 hours. During the summer months my house is air-conditioned and there are lots of doggie beds and blankets in various places around my home. We also have heated and air-conditioned indoor dog kennels with windows for natural light. Dogs are taken out and walked around our 20 acre farm with a creek and lots of cool places for the dogs to explore. I take walks on my 20 acre property and I can take your dog with me either leashed or unleashed depending on your dog's recall. Dogs can rest or sleep on the couch or on a doggy bed. We have crates or you can bring your own if you want your dog crated. Every dog gets my personal attention and time. I take a limited number of dogs to assure each dog is happy and well cared for. I have a dog-safe yard and home. Dogs are in climate-controlled areas if it becomes too hot or cold. Dogs are hand-walked every 2 hours or less along our sandy doggie paths. We make sure your dog enjoys his/her mini-vacation!
“Kylie is an excellent sitter! She was very thorough in wanting to meet Kali first to make sure they got along. She answered all our questions and had minimal requests of us (hydrogen peroxide available in case of an emergency). She sent me photos of my pup and spent an adequate amount of time with her on her visits. We would recommend Kylie to our friends and family!”

“Misty came and met my crew the night before I needed her just so I could explain their personalities and she could meet them. She took amazing care of them, I received lots of photos and a really sweet “journal” of their time together. She even gave me traveling pointers and things to do and see as I was on vacation! Gracie, RJ and Dunkin say thank you for taking such good care of us, mom was happy and tired when she got home”

“Sarah did a wonderful job taking care of our Winnie girl! She came for a meet and greet and I could tell right away that our pup would be well cared for while we were out for the day exploring. If you are in Kanab and have a long day away from your pet, Sarah will do a great job! Rover.com was a fantastic way to find reliable pet sitting!”

“Excellent last minute care for my dog and I could not have asked for better. Amazing service that truly catered for our needs and meant that I was able to relax and enjoy my day. Definitely book these guys 🫶🏻☀️”

About: I currently work at a dog daycare in Alaska and volunteer at a cat shelter. I have dog sat for dogs and cats from puppies to seniors. I have experience in giving insulin to both dogs and cats as well as subcutaneous fluids. I am animal CPR certified, fear free certified, and have a veterinary assistant certification. I am an intern at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary this summer 2026. My work schedule is Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm. If your pet requires a midday potty break, I have an hour lunch at 12 pm to relieve them! I always check with clients on any home safety concerns and follow any guidelines asked to follow. I treat my clients home and pets as if they were my own.
“Samantha did a wonderful job dropping in several times while I was away for a very long day. She visited the times we agreed and did a few small unexpected things like thawed out some frozen nuggets and cleaned food containers to make my morning much smoother. I highly recommend that you consider Samantha when you need help.”

About: I love dogs and cats, and am always thrilled to meet another. I know most people can say that they have been taking care of neighbor's pets since they were kids, but I also have kept taking care of people's pets into adulthood and I'm making a living out of it. I am new to the area and looking for new clients! I normally work Thursday-Monday, so I can provide walks in the early mornings and evenings on days I work. When I don’t work I can walk anytime. If I am house sitting I can come by during lunch on days I work if needed. I live in a small apartment, so walks and house sitting are what would be best for your pet. I cannot host your pets in my home. I normally work 4-5 hours in the morning, and could check in on a pet during my break. I have a car, so walks could be on trails. I can not currently host any pets in my home, my cat is not fond of other cats and my apartment is too small for dogs.
