About: I’ve been around animals my whole life; dogs, cats, ducks, and more. I love being able to provide a safe and peaceful experience for any type of pet! I’m currently caring for my disabled mom. I have the flexibility and availability to help out any time of day. Whether it’s walking, sitting, or check-ins. I currently have two big dogs, Bubba and Rufus. I’ve had both since they were puppies and have used positive reinforcement training to now have both well socialized and very good boys.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love interacting with them and spending my time with them! Whether that’s just sitting around or being outside playing/walking! I’m very much an animal person! I work full time but 12 hour shifts so I only work 3 days a week. My work schedule is 7AM-7:30PM. I can wake up early to let them out and feed them and can take care of them when I get home but on my days off my attention goes to them when needed! I make sure I listen to exactly when and how the pets need to be cared for. I don’t over push the walks or the play time. I make sure if I am staying in the clients house that I keep it clean and listen to their rules and expectation for me staying. I also make sure I communicate often and keep up with updates to the clients.

“Michelle was polite, courteous and professional. Overall, she did the best she could with my youngest rescue being timid to the point of going inside the house for the three days I was travelling. Not her fault and I would like to continue for future trips in hopes of her acclimating to my shy, timid boy.”

“Grace was excellent! She provided updates when needed and was very helpful and attentive to our requests and instructions. We came home to a happy, healthy puppy and a clean house. All we could ask for in a sitter! We will definitely be booking Grace again! Thanks, Grace!”

Love love cats so much. I grew up with dogs and birds amongst others as well. I am established with the care and needs of both. Whatever help you need I’ll be there. :)

“We could not be more happy having her watch our senior dog DJ. As an anxious dog I was impressed how comfortable he was around her. He of cause loved all her attention. I have to say we were nervous having someone stay in our house to watch DJ but Chris is so sweet and knowledgeable in her sitting skills, she had made us comfortable with choosing her. We are so glad we did as she did an awesome job. DJ acted like we never left. He even ate his meals while we were gone. Something he's rarely done. We will be singing her praises to others in our neighborhood plus contacting her for ourselves as the need arises. Thank you Chris for treating our dog as if he were your own.”

About: I’ve cared for animals for over 15 years and have fostered more than 50 kittens and puppies along the way. Whether I’m helping a senior dog feel safe and comfortable or keeping up with a playful pup still learning the ropes, I show up with patience, confidence, and love. Your pets are treated like family while you’re away. I maintain their routine, provide consistent care, and make sure they feel seen, safe, and adored. I also keep you in the loop with regular photo updates so you can truly relax knowing your pets (and your home) are in good hands. I take on a limited number of bookings to ensure each pet gets the focused attention they deserve. If you’re looking for someone experienced, reliable, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to connect. After fostering over 50 kittens and puppies, my daily routine has always centered around animal care. Feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication routines, and one-on-one attention are second nature to me. Pet care isn’t something I squeeze in. It’s part of how I live each day. Whether your pet needs structure, flexibility, or a little of both, I’ll meet them exactly where they are. In your home, I care for your pets the same way I care for my own: with consistency, presence, and respect. I follow your routine closely to keep them feeling safe and settled. From walks and meals to playtime and downtime, they’ll get the care they’re used to. I keep your home clean and cared for, and you’ll receive regular photo and message updates so you always know your pets are safe and loved.

About: Paws & Pals; Pet B&B and In-Home Care is a collaboration of the mother-daughter team, Nancy Grandinetti and her daughter, Jessica Boyd. With a shared, and boundless passion for animal welfare, and 50+ years of animal experience (between the two of us), you can be sure that you are leaving your fur-mily in the best possible hands! Nancy (51yo) began her long history in pet care at age 13, working in her uncle’s veterinary practice. During her time at Glendale Animal Hospital [Glen Ellyn, IL], she volunteered for EVERYTHING, from grooming to medication administration. This was followed shortly by her first “real” job at Save-A-Pet. Thus, began her long history of both jobs and volunteerism in the animal care community. Currently, even though her career has currently led her to sales, Nancy is a registered foster home for CPR Fund Canine Rescue [www.cprfund,com], specializing in difficult to rehabilitate dogs. Due to her work-from-home schedule, Nancy is primarily available for in-home boarding. She’s specifically set up for doggos that prefer to be alone. Jessica (34yo), instilled with her mother’s enthusiasm for animal care, has expanded that passion into equine and farm care. She has worked with a myriad of animals, including wild and exotic species. Presently, she has found her home as a part-time senior barn assistant at Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Farm [www.mainstayfarm,org]. As a homeschooling mother of three, Jessica’s primary services include dog walking, drop-in home visits, and pack-friendly boarding. About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my extensive pet care experience, which includes training puppies, providing specialized senior pet care, and a genuine love for animals. I’ve volunteered at the shelter, where I gained invaluable experience fostering dogs in need, including the special bond I formed with my best friend, a rescue dog. I understand each pet's unique needs, whether it’s active playtime for young pups or gentle support for seniors. My commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment ensures every dog feels at home with me. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine as I work a flexible remote job. This allows me to dedicate ample time to walk, play, and care for your dog throughout the day. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. Whether it’s regular feeding times, play sessions, or cuddles, your furry friend will always be my priority. In my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment for pets by ensuring all hazardous items are out of reach, providing cozy resting areas, and maintaining a clean space. I have secure play areas where dogs can enjoy themselves without risk. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their space by following established routines and guidelines. I prioritize safety by keeping doors and gates secure and monitoring pets during playtime. Trust is built through consistent communication, regular updates, and attention to each pet's individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away.

About: I practically grew up with a zoo. We always had minimum 2 dogs & 3 cats. I loved volunteering at shelters. Now my husband and I own 2 dogs & 2 cats of our own and have done a little fostering. We are the designated pet sitters in our friend group! We spoil our guests and they have free range to the house. No kids yet because our animals are our kids! I’m also happy to watch chickens, snakes, parrots, fish, tarantulas, you name it! I am a teacher! I started Rover to fill my summer, but loved it so much I wanted to continue during the school year. I offer mornings before 8 am, nights after 4 pm, & weekends! I’m very familiar with all personalities of pets. Safety is my number one concern. I’m good at giving medicine and following household rules. I want it to be as stress free & normal for your furry friend as possible!

“Victoria went above and beyond for our little lady Marlie. Marlie is 12 yrs old and needs some extra love and care and Victoria did that. After Marlie had a rough night by herself at home, Victoria offered to bring her home. Victoria really did care for Marlie as if she was her own pup. We are very grateful and excited to find our go to pup sitter so that we can take more family vacations.”

About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

I am currently working full time from home so I am happy to give your dogs some attention and exercise on my lunch and after work hours. I would be happy to help out on the weekends as well with staying with your pets or taking them out for a walk or playtime. I am happy to watch your pet at your home. Nancy G.
“I have worked with Nancy while helping in animal rescue. She had asked us to help her foster to adopt a dog that was out of time at Chicago animal Control. She helped save her life and gave her a great home. She went on to foster many dogs for a group I worked with a few years back and did great with them. She would often take in the more difficult fosters with success as she was great with the dogs and knew how to read them. We knew any foster in her care was in great hands. She proved it time and again. I would trust Nancy whole heartedly with my pets as well as the many fosters we placed in her care.”
