About: I have been around pets my whole life and have been sitting for friends and family for about 3 years now. Pets are not only adorable but also fun to be around :) I am currently finishing up my last year of university at home. I will be completing a year of student teaching before graduating with a teaching license. I will be 100% available on weekends but my weekday availability will depend on my student teaching schedule. I will follow your pets established routine at home and try to make them feel the most comfortable as possible. I plan on taking care of your pet as if it were my own!

About: I have always been “dog” person. I got my first dog when I was 5 and have had multiple dogs since. I was a dog walker for neighbors and friends during adolescence and my teen years. I will make sure your dog is well taken care of! I am currently of of work for the summer because I work for the school district. I have a lot of extra free time to occupy. I have a huge yard and a crate if needed! I also have an 11 year old who loves dogs and would love to interact with some new, friendly puppers.

About: I have a wide variety of experience between helping you continue manner training, to grooming small dogs. When I’m not loving on your dog, I’m loving mine. Helping pets feel their best is my passion, so seeing your dog multiple times a day will make me happy. I do rover full time Maintaining your house rules including your dog’s training and safety are top priority. Keeping track of your dogs behavior and making a relationship is imperative.

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I live in Salem but drive up to Portland several times a week. So If you live in the Portland or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? I’ll say hello extra sweet and then leave them be. Tigger-like active puppy? Let’s throw some balls in the yard! The pet that thinks my lap is theirs? Good snuggles and lots of sweet talk, for sure! “Malie was amazing with our siberian husky! She was great with communication and reached out with each drop in. Our husky has a lot of personality, and several medications. Malie made it simple, and took great care of her! Malie was great at respecting Koda's cues, playing when she wanted to play, but also giving Koda space when she wanted it. We will be booking again with Malie very soon.”

I have a pretty flexible schedule during the week and can do morning, midday, or evening visits. Whether it’s quick check ins or overnight stays, I’m happy to adjust to what your pet needs! About: I grew up with pets but once I moved to college in 2016 I started pet sitting often as a side gig and now I pet sit and house sit almost every other weekend for my friends who go out of town. —I’ve sat up to 3 dogs before -from pop ins to 10 day long house/pet sittings -from rescued dogs to puppies -pet sat cats too I work for a ministry on UK’s campus so I have flexible hours. I do not have any set days or times but am willing to pick up help when needed with enough notice! I do whatever is most comfortable for the owners! I crate when needed or snuggle them when they need it! I’m ready to take them on walks or let them run around outside!
