“Tawnia is great! She’s so patient with my pups, esp since one likes to pull and the other has been defensive of our home. But Tawnia does so well with both pups and we love having her for walks!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, and i’ve had many different breeds. I was the neighborhood dog walker when I was in middle school. I am working a part time job and I am in school but I am able to walk your dog every 3-4 hours during the week I have a fenced in yard for my dog and usually let him outside every hour or so. I also feed him dry food in the morning and wet and dry food at night

About: I’ve taken care of friends, family and neighbors dogs since I was 11. I love all dogs of all ages and have 2 large dogs of my own. I’m currently finishing up my masters degree and won’t be working all summer so I’ll have lots of availability for walks and drop ins as needed. I have two very friendly dogs but have dog gates and crates space is ever needed or for when I may have to leave home.

“Sierra helped us out last minute, and even squeezed in a meet and greet! She was very kind and our aloof pup snuggled right up to her. Will definitely rebook!”

About: I currently provide dog-sitting services for coworkers, elderly neighbors, and friends. I don’t get enough bookings from people I know, so I’m joining Rover to hopefully get some more opportunities. My background includes working at an animal hospital, where I was primarily responsible for boarding dogs and cats of various sizes and ages. My duties encompassed walking, feeding, playing with, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kennels. Additionally, I undertook tasks such as bathing animals and caring for newborn puppies and kittens. I also look after my family’s cat and my partner’s dogs, both of whom present challenges due to their dog-aggressive behavior. This experience has fueled my ongoing commitment to studying dog behavior and training techniques to enhance my caregiving skills and better support the animals I look after. I will be fully dedicated to your pet’s wellness and happiness if you book with me! I work part time as an Intern and my availability will consist of Anytime M, F, weekends, and afternoons all other days. For any at home care on the weekends, I will have to leave for 2 hours to check on my own dogs while my partner is at work. When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's, I prioritize a safe and structured environment tailored to each pet's individual needs. In client homes, I am trusted with overnight stays and have consistently managed multiple animals without any issues, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for in their familiar surroundings. In my own home, I adhere to a disciplined routine, particularly with dogs, to maintain a sense of order and security. This includes scheduled feeding times, walks, and play sessions, which helps in managing their energy levels and maintaining their health. My cat, Beans, enjoys a more flexible routine, which suits her independent nature. She's free to set her own pace throughout the day, though I ensure her needs for interaction and care are met. Overall, my approach is based on respect, patience, and attentiveness to the unique personality and requirements of each pet, ensuring they feel loved and at ease under my care.

“Amani is a great dog walker! Very dependable and a good communicator. I know my dog is safe with her and would recommend her services to anyone!”

About: Hi! I'm an all-around animal person! I'm a Registered Veterinary Technician with extensive experience caring for animals of all types! I've been a pet sitter for 15 years, including caring for senior animals. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing that your pet is happy and safe while you are away! I love working with all animals, but I'm especially good with helping shy-er, more cautious animals gain confidence. I'm also great with elderly or special needs pets who require a little extra care and assistance, and with higher energy pets who may need some help self-regulating their excitement or anxiety. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other pocket pets. Currently, I have 2 parrots. Professionally, I've worked at accredited zoos in Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana, as well as a wolf sanctuary in New Mexico, so I also have experience working with and caring for exotic animals like birds and reptiles. As you can see, animals are my passion! My schedule is flexible, so I'm able to give your pet all the attention they could want! I'm available for overnight sitting, drop-in visits throughout the day, and walks. I have years of experience pet sitting and am happy to provide references. I have reliable transportation, so I'm able to travel all over the Albuquerque area.

About: For as long as I can remember, dogs have been my favorite animal, and I grew up with one from the age of 6. For the past few years, I had a dog full time while training her to be a service dog through a non-profit, so I am excited to have others around to help take care of. I have some toys and treats already, and love being able to take the dog out with me when I run, or using them as an excuse to get extra exercise. My schedule is very flexible currently, allowing me to be home(or at your house) multiple times throughout the day. I am willing to work on training while your pet is under my care if interested in that.

About: Hi! My name is Paulo. I love dogs and it is a pleasure been able to work with them. I have experience on taking care of dogs, since I have aways been a dog parent myself. I will treat your loved one with patience, respect and professionalism. I do dog walks and dog sitting. I am from Brazil, and I have such love for my dog that I brought my mixed dog Lupita from there to leave with me in New York City. She was rescued from a shelter there, and have made my life way more fullfil and happy since then. Other than that, I've aways had dogs and other pets since I was a kid and I have been walking and sitting dogs for two years.

“Kimberli was wonderful with my very anxious rescue. My dog was able to bond with her quickly, and her updates everyday were thorough, sweet, and fun to read. Kimberli walked my dog 5 days a week for 2 months, and was consistently awesome. I was very happy to see that my dog was in good hands.”

We have had 4 different dogs, a cat, 3 cockatiels, and 2 cockatoos that she has cared for at various times and for varying lengths of time. Because she is a vet tech, I feel very confident when we leave our animals in her care. She is conscientious about keeping us updated about any developments she things we should or would want to know about while we are away. She is also very conscientious about making sure that she carries out any special instructions we might have about individual care. She has provided suggestions about some behavior problems we were experiencing with one of our dogs. Her care while we have been away has been excellent, and all of our pets are really happy whenever they see her come to our home. Of course I would highly recommend Meredith as someone to care for your pet.”
