About: I have taken care of all types of animals all my life. I have owned and taken care of dogs, cats, cows, chickens, hamsters, and fish throughout my life. I love all types of animals, but especially dogs. I completed an animal behavior course that focuses on dogs to better understand and interact with dogs. Also, I have completed training with all of my dogs, but most recently my Portuguese Water Dog. My neighbors and friends rely on me to watch and walk their dogs frequently. I am currently working part time so I am able to look after and walk pups in the evenings and mornings, as well as nights. I am also flexible so just let me know a time and I’ll let you know if I can do the job! I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup at home. I can also travel to meet your pup and dog sit at your home. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have never met one I did not adore. Many friends choose me to care for their loved ones when they are away. My schedule revolves around maintaining activity levels and better functional training for my pets and yours. Health and happiness make for longer life spans for our babies. About: I’ve been asked to pet sit for a variety of pets over the years. Anywhere from cats and dogs to bearded dragons and horses! I’m a quick learner and can adapt just as fast to match whatever needs are required. I also own a mixed dog and an orange tabby cat myself. I am a newly wed who recently moved into town and am still getting settled. Until I get connected with my work, I have a TON of free time! I’d love to get to be surrounded by fur babies as much as possible! I love to let the critters set the pace when getting to know me. I believe there needs to be an established bond of trust before anything else. And I LOVE to love on them once they let me! I can never get enough pets and snuggles! About: I have worked with dogs and cats for 15 years with a mixture of professional (pet resort, vet, and foster volunteer for rescue organizations) as well as personal (pet owner). I promote safety and the well-being of pets first and foremost and can accommodate any of your loved ones' needs. I am trained as a vet tech and newly RN graduate, almost any medical condition I feel confident I can address and provide care for. I am a firm believer that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals and i have always treated mine as not just a pet, but a family member. About this sitter: I wanted to add this service for those parents concerned with the anxiety that comes along with being left. I firmly believe that sticking to your pet's routine and environment helps decrease any unneeded stress. I am well trained in animal behavior (I have worked at a veterinary clinic/hospital for 3+ years) and medical aid should anything arise or your pet has medical needs. Any questions? Please ask! I currently work SUPER part-time, meaning only 4.5 hours a day, 2-3 times a week. No earlier than 0845 and no later than 6 pm. I have a rhodesian ridgeback of mine own who is very comfortable around any dog breed or age as she has been to dog parks and around other dogs all her life. She is 10 yo and very mellow but also gets spurts of energy where she will engage in play. I think her mellow demenor allows other pets to feel comfortable. I have two enclosed dog play areas outdoors as well. In a client's home, I can set up a pet camera that a client can access (this will need to be done prior to the client leaving and will be taken once the care is over) and will honor your schedule and instructions. In addition, I will send you all the pictures or videos that you would like!
