“Samantha did a wonderful job with my two kitties. She is extremely attentive, sending pics every day and updating me on how they were feeling each day. She was also honest when my kitties were naughty and broke into their food, informing me right away and cleaning up the resulting vomit from overeating, haha. I just moved into the area, so I was nervous about leaving my kids with someone new, but from the beginning, Samantha did a great job and put me at ease, making me feel much better about going on my trip.”

“Chelsea was AMAZING!! She took great care of my elderly cat with special needs which I was apprehensive of leaving. She took her time & worked with her. She made sure she was fed & watered on schedule as agreed upon. She was also responsive to my texts & understanding of not only my concerns but of my cat's needs. I was super grateful Chelsea was available over th3 holifay weekend!! I highly recommend Chelsea & hope she is available in the future.”

“Madison has watched our kitty for us a few times and just finished her first time with our golden retriever! He had the best time with her and we got lots of very informative updates about her visits. Definitely recommend!”

“Jade was great with our cat who is a social boy that really needs pets and attention. She gave good updates, changed out his food and water, and cleaned his pellet litter box. I'd definitely have her again and my boy really likes her too.”

“Great visit from Madelyn as always! Apollo really loves seeing her and it gives me peace of mind knowing he’s getting checked on and let out for a potty break and fresh air.”

“Rachelle is incredible! She took great care of our cat, Bug. She sent us tons of photos and made sure we knew he was given lots of love and attention. We will definitely be requesting her again.”

About: I have taken care of many dogs through out the years. I have trained many puppies that were my personal pets. I think it’s important for our furry guests to feel safe and comfortable in our home, as well as providing personal space when needed. We do have kids in the house that love and RESPECT dogs of all ages and sizes. I work from home which offers great flexibility for walks, drop -ins and boarding! Your pets needs will always be met no matter the schedule. I have a dog of my own that is extremely socialized and loves companionship of other friends. I do have children ages 2-9. We have always been extremely educational and aware, teaching them boundaries and respect with other animals. They have spent a lot of time at the local dog park and know how to interact with pets that are not their own. I am very aware of any possessive behavior over food or toys and make sure to watch closely or even seperate the locations of the meals.

About: Former veterinary technician turned Army MP with extensive experience caring for pets of all ages, including administering medications. Reliable, attentive, and committed to your pet’s safety and comfort. Pet care is a consistent part of my weekly routine. I’m available most days with flexible hours, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care when needed. I provide care in my client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and medications. I’m very flexible and adjust to each pet’s specific needs and personality.

About: I have owned and cared for many, many dogs over the years (also cats, a bird, fish, hamsters, turtles). I LOVE animals! I have cared for a very sick dog while her owner was out of the country. No one wants that to happen but I am dedicated to the care of all animals as if they were my own children. I understand each animals unique personality and needs. I love hiking and walking and there are no better companions than dogs. My first priority is keeping your pet safe, second is their happiness! I understand that having their owners away can be stressful so they need lots of love and exercise. I won't be walking multiple dogs so that I can give enough attention to each individual dog. I am retired and am available at home all day. I can come to your home to walk or check in on your animals any time. I have a fenced yard for your dog to play in and to be safe. I never leave the dogs in the yard unsupervised. My own dog will keep yours company.
About: I am a dog mama of two amazing dogs who I have had since both were very young puppies (6-8 weeks old) who have turned into the sweetest souls ever. I also previously have had a cat who I had for 14 years. I have previously house sat for friends’, performed house visits for their cats & dogs, & dog sit for them as well. **All doggies must be potty trained, spayed/ neutered, & have recent vaccinations.** My dogs & I start our days with 2 mile walks at dawn & another 1.5 miles after the sun is down. When the weather is cooler & not during the summer time, we head to the dog park to play. I work full time from home right now so potty breaks & have a doggy door so potty breaks are a non-issue for boarding dogs. My work schedule varies but typically is around 10 to 4 so for house visits & dog walks, they will be before or after those hours. I am Fingerprint Clearance Holder so you can rest assured that your home & pets are safe in my care while I perform home visits.
About: I love dogs and am very passionate about care and safety of the animals I care for. I have gotten two of my own dogs through obedience training and canine good citizen testing. I also have experience, 13 years, living with dogs actively training and competing in IPO. Easy or difficult dogs areno problem. I can take direction and care and interact with your dog exactly as you'd like. I can give potty breaks during the day and am available to stay overnight in your home with your animals. I am also available on weekends and can give potty breaks more often if needed. I vary my care depending on what the client wants but id prefer a dog on my lap watching a movie. Well exercised and fed!
About: I've care for dogs and cats of all types for over 20 years and understand that every pet has unique needs. I'm dependable, patient, attentive, and will care for your pets like family. I'll be attending afternoon college classes for about three hours, three days a week starting in August, which still leaves me with plenty of time to care for and spend quality time with your pets. I'm available evenings, weekends, and can be flexible with additional hours as needed. I understand how important trust and safety are when it comes to pet care. Your pets' comfort and safety are my top priorities. I'm attentive to feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, medications, and any special needs as well as any regularly followed routines. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Huachuca
She and her husband were amazing and so friendly! They were so communicative and accommodating to my two cats that take a while to warm up. This week they took sooooo long to come around but they were so patient and sent so many updates and pictures! It calmed my nerves a lot.

Jordan was very responsive and took great care of my cats over the holidays. She made sure they had clean litter, playtime, food and water, and included plenty of photos for me. I always worry about my cats when I travel, and Jordan alleviated all of that stress!

Our experience with Theresa was great! Communication was clear and prompt, and she was always responsive. When we arrived home we could tell our kitties had been well taken care of and all their needs met. Everything was tidy and exactly as we had left it. She even was able to administer pills to my senior cat which was a huge relief. I would not hesitate to book Theresa again the next time we have to travel, and I recommend her to anyone in the area in need as an excellent pet sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
