About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2015, although I’ve always grown up around animals. What started as helping friends and family while they were out of town—sometimes for weeks or even months—quickly became something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I believe that building trust with both pets and their owners is key to providing the best care possible. Before any stay, I like to meet the pet and owner together to get familiar with their routine, any special activities they enjoy, and any health needs I should be aware of. This helps ensure a smooth transition and allows me to care for each pet as if they were my own I recently moved to Maine in May, and I am excited to make this my forever home. I have open availability and can be flexible with scheduling to meet your needs At our home, I have a spacious 1.1-acre property with a beautiful front yard, a peaceful pond, and a large backyard all of which are unfenced. Pet guests enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time in these open areas. I always meet with the owner ahead of time to learn about the dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. From there, I create a care plan that helps your dog feel comfortable and keeps their routine consistent while they’re with me.

About: *Recently moved to Yarmouth, Maine and back on Rover - accepting new clients* 🐾 🐾 Rates 🐾 🐾 I am happy to travel but may need to add a mileage fee for bookings outside of my 15 minute radius. All rates are negotiable. *Boarding: I only host 1 family's pets at a time. This provides a safer environment for your pet and an "at home" feel with plenty of attention, especially for reactive or aging dogs. I don't use crates or kennels but if you want to bring yours along that is fine, I also have 1 medium sized crate on hand if needed. I have a very clean home and welcome pets to feel comfortable if they would like to snooze on the sofas, bed, and we have a secure fenced in yard, but I do not leave dogs unattended in the yard. I usually take my dog to the local dog parks and nature trails and would bring yours along too. 🐾 🐾 Basic Info 🐾 🐾 I am an EMT, certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. For the past 25 years, I have been an animal caretaker. My favorite part is getting to know all of the different breeds and personalities. Your pets will be treated with love, and be as comfortable in my home as yours. I always send lots of photos at the end of each day. 🐾 🐾 My daily schedule 🐾 🐾 I work from home as a university professor. My position is remote, so I am able to work anywhere with a wifi connection. I work for rover occasionally and my schedule is typically super organized and flexible. We do at least 2 active hours per day- and we try to squeeze in as many hikes as possible. My boyfriend is also very helpful with the dogs- if they are up for it, he will take them jogging every night.

About: I love pooches of all kinds, but have a special affinity for Boxers and Staffordshire Terriers and other short-haired dogs of their ilk. I grew up with dogs and owned two boxers for much of my adult life. Now that my last boxer has passed, I need to get all my dog love by taking care of yours! I live in the West End of Portland and prefer to work nearby, but can travel for the right friends. I work part-time so have some extra hours to give to walking and loving other peoples best friends. I don't have any pet of my own right now, so I really appreciate loving others. I used to have pets, but these days, we spend all of our homecare on our three-year-old human child, who is more than enough :-p

About: I have had dogs and cats most of my adult life. I truly love the bond between a pet and caregiver. I’m a true believer that pets are family and should be treated as such. I’m physically active and enjoy the outdoors. Experienced in basic care and needs of dogs and cats I work part time, and I am very flexible with my schedule. About: I have had pets my whole life, ranging from cats and dogs to birds and lizards. Ive always had an affinity for animals, especially dogs, and would do anything I could for them. I understand that everyone has there own way of training and caring for there lovely pet and I would be more than happy to work with an owner to provide custom care for each new friend. I currently have a job during the day, however I am generally done at 2 and would love to provide care any time I can! I live right between two parks and frequently go spend time outside, especially at the beach once all the dogs are allowed. I hope to be able to spend more time with your pet soon!
