We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I have a German Shepherd puppy of my own who is currently in training and has already graduated level one classes, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement. He also regularly attends daycare and is very well cared for, which has given me hands-on experience with socialization and daily routines. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a routine, I treat every pet like family and keep owners updated so they can feel at ease too. I have two cats at home, and caring for my cats has taught me how important patience, gentleness, and respecting each animal’s personality is. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, playtime, litter box care, and giving cats the calm attention they need to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I’m great with time management and already structure my days around caring for animals. I currently work twice a month at the hospital as a Patient Care Tech, and I also work retail shifts at the outlets that are usually only 5–6 hours long. This gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, feeding, and updates for pets. Since I also care for my own dog daily, pet care is already an important part of my everyday life. I am an early riser and can stay up as long as your pet needs! I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it helps them stay comfortable in a familiar environment and keeps their normal routine consistent. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and lots of care while their owners are away. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, keep things clean and organized, and provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.

About: I have over 10 years of experience in animal husbandry and veterinary care. I cared for a multitude of animals, including cats, dogs, and other exotic pets. Whether it is daily exercise, extra snuggles, or an extra zen environment, I have the experience for your furbabies. I can administer daily medications, follow complex diets, and look critically at the animals in my care to determine if veterinary assistance is needed. Pictures of your pet can be provided upon request (I usually send one even if it isn't requested but if you want more, I will provide. :) Petcare is my life 24/7. Walks, playtime, and pleasant company are the three biggest parts of daily routine. For cats, making sure they have adequate creature comforts and, if the cat enjoys the attention, plenty of interaction with yours truly. I try to maintain your pets stability by sticking to your routine and habits to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible. We will follow your schedule so they know what to expect throughout our interaction.

About: I have grown up with several dogs and cats that I have taken care of. My dad is also a dog trainer, so I often go out on walks and play with the dogs he cares for. I am very active, so your pets will never be bored! My schedule varies biweekly, so I am home every other week. The weeks I am off i have lots of free time, so I can be very flexible. The weeks I do have to work, I work nights, so I can be free during the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. I live without children, so your pets will be my priority. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in! I do own two cats and share my mom’s small dog part time, so i prefer pets that are friendly with other animals! If your pet needs to be crated I can accommodate that, but I also allow pets on furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to at home. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate most things to make your pets feel comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals, including reptiles and rodents. There’s no animal that I don’t know how to not take care of all animals are welcome. I work early in the mornings I work 4 AM to 12 afternoon. I’m able to be there for the afternoon afternoons and nights for your animal and up the road if anything happens. I have saved environment for the animal. I do not have fence,but I do have a backyard that I can walk the dog around or cat around. I do have one cat in my roommate has two but they’re all very friendly.

While I love animals, I realized that massive, chaotic pack environments aren't the best fit for my philosophy of care—or for many dogs. I transitioned to independent pet sitting so I could give individual animals the quiet, focused, and low-stress attention they truly deserve. Because of my professional background, I am highly trained in dog body language, safety protocols, and keeping pets calm and happy. Your dog will never have to compete for attention or feel overwhelmed here! About: As a child I was always drawn to animals and their pure spirits. I have extensive experience with pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, mice) and foster rabbits with a local rabbit rescue in my home. I have 10+ years of experience with small dogs and mid-sized dogs with a specialization in the needs of brachycephalic breeds like shih tzu's, bulldogs, Frenchies and more. I am versed in first aid for small animals and dogs. Can't forget the kitties! I have yet to meet a kitty I didn't love. I strongly feel like they need love too and look forward to caring for them in your home where the majority of them are the most comfortable. I am a stay at home/work from home mom who is looking forward to instilling a love of animals for my son as he gets older. My days typically look calm and chill as I spend a lot of them in my workshop or outside enjoying the nice weather with my animals. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule as I tend to my rabbits, rabbit fosters, guinea pig and two dogs of my own, Selune and Rosie. I look forward to going to where your pet feels most comfortable and establishing a calm and comforting presence for them. As someone who understands how important it is to keep pets from becoming stressed during owner vacations, I pride myself on the ability to go to meet your animals on their own turf and level in order to create the least amount of stress possible. About: Animals are too good for humankind, so they should be treated like absolute royalty. I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. I am more than happy to treat your pet as if they were my own <3 I am currently unemployed and searching for a new job, but in the meantime, outside of my rugby schedule, I am available to take care of your pets! To make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you are away, I would love to learn their typical routine at home and their interests!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs for my whole life. I have dog sat neighbors dogs and cats and they have relied on me to walk, feed, play and keep their pets safe in their home or at my home. I am currently at home and have flexible availability and would be available during the days and for overnights for your pets! Having a pet around after I lost my own makes me so happy! I have a safe environment and I am a very lovable person. I will keep all pets safe in my house or at your own house.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life. I adopted my own dog back in 2021 and also have a German Shepard. I frequently do drop ins for family friends. I am an animal LOVER. I work full time from 7-3:30 so I am available for late afternoon/evening appointments, and weekend appointments. Also would love to bring my own dog with me if allowed. I will gladly keep your dog on or off leash, whichever you prefer and will follow any and all feeding, training, potty requests that you write down for me!
