I dog sit for my cousins often. They have 2 dogs: an black lab and a Australian shepherd mix. I love animals but unfortunately I cant afford to have a dog of my own and can't have them in the house i live in currently. Thanks for taking the time to consider me.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, always having pets of my own and caring for them as cherished family members. Over the years, I’ve become the go-to person for friends, family, and neighbors whenever they need someone trustworthy to care for their pets. Whether it’s walking, feeding, overnight stays, or giving a little extra love to nervous or high-energy animals, I’ve earned their trust through consistency, kindness, and a understanding of animal behavior. Caring for pets isn’t just something I do—it’s something I truly love. I am a stay at home mom and have a very flexible schedule as my kiddo is in school. I am available during the morning after drop off to late afternoon. I have a fenced in yard for my elder dog Lua. She loves to play fetch and go for walks. I follow direction well and will listen to your needs for your furry family member. Animals are like us. Not all are alike and may need special care. Being a mother of a kiddo and an animal has taught me to be aware of this and how to maneuver challenges.

About: I grew up on a farm, and have had a huge love of animals, particularly dogs since I can remember. I meet new animals almost daily, and most people are surprised by how quickly their animal warms up to me. I am my friends go to house/pet sitter and they fully trust me in providing great care for their fur babies. I recently transitioned from a high demand job to a primarily remote work long job. This allows me to spend quality time with your animals, and be present for walks, bathroom breaks, and extra love. I get to know the animal and what is going to best meet their needs and will cater to the animal and owner. Depending on the pet, I can hang out and snuggle or go for walks, to the dog park, or just simply engage them in your yard.

I am a teacher in the area and have the flexibility to provide care for the many pets in the area in my down time. I am flexible with what needs are to be met in a clients home. About: I’m a dependable, responsible, and caring individual who truly enjoys spending time with animals. Whether it’s going on long walks, playing fetch, or just providing companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I understand how important your dog is to your family, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. You can trust me to show up on time, follow any specific instructions you provide, and keep you updated so you always know your dog is in good hands. I’m currently in flight school and actively working toward earning my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) license. My schedule is structured but flexible, allowing me to take on dog walking or pet sitting jobs while I continue to pursue my aviation career. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I stick to feeding schedules, administer any medications if needed, ensure they get plenty of exercise, and give them lots of attention and affection. I also keep the home clean and tidy, respecting the space as if it were my own. Communication is key, so I always keep clients updated with messages, photos, or videos for peace of mind.

“This was my first time ever using Rover, and needed someone to come help take care of my two dogs at a rental house. Not only did Sofia accept on a couple hours notice, but she went so so far above and beyond and went three seperate times to the house, followed instructions perfectly with no questions, and provided absolutely perfect care to my two dogs. She took them on a big walk, fed them dinner, let them out to play, and provided exceptional communication the whole time. I am so impressed and grateful that I was lucky enough to get Sofia’s help today. 10/10, a million stars, and massive tip for her coming. thank you so much, you are a bright star in a dark world.”

About: Over the course of my life, since early childhood, I've had 3 dogs and 4 cats. I mostly took care of training my 3rd dog who I had throughout childhood. In my adulthood, I've spent over a year I volunteered 1-3 times a week at a local animal shelter where I helped socialize the cats and dogs, and took the dogs on walks. At the animal shelter there were 3 different levels of difficulty assigned to each dog, and during my time there I worked my way up to handling & walking level 2 dogs. Additionally, I spent over a year working & living on a ranch, where I cared for horses, cows and bulls, goats, chickens, and a large variety of different bird species including an ostrich. I'm currently a college student that's currently taking a semester off. I'm doing part-time work that I set my own schedule for, so I have time to care for pets! I can work with fairly short notice as well. I'm good to work on any day except for Friday. Currently I'm not boarding any pets at my own home. I am very gentle and understanding with animals, and make sure to respect their boundaries. I'm able to crate dogs if need be, and am willing to give pets as much space as they need.

About: I’ve had every animal under the sun since I was kid! From every size dog to rats and lizards, I’ve cared for them all. I’ve been trusted to walk, watch, bathe, and cuddle many friends and family’s pets since I was a teen. I have a senior chihuahua mix that has had unfortunate experiences with larger dogs, which has made me hyper aware of dog body language. I’ve taken it upon myself to research and learn more about the behavior of dogs to keep them happy and safe! I work primarily from home on my own schedule with 1-2 days where I am away for longer than 6 hours. My schedule is very flexible, letting me go for a walk or check on a pet at most points throughout the day. I’m always sure to understand a pets dietary needs/restrictions and needs. Reward preferences, whether they want play time or a run, to cuddle, ect. are all important things I like to gather before watching a pet. I carry a variety of treats on me, a first aid kid, and slip leads in my car to be prepared for an emergency. I am trained in dog first-aid and CPR.

About: I’ve volunteered with dog rescues for over 15 years, caring for pups of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I’m experienced with senior care, administering medications, and training basic commands. Whether it’s high-energy play or gentle walks, I tailor my care to each dog’s needs. I treat every dog like my own—with patience, love, and a whole lot of belly rubs. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine since I attend school online and have a flexible schedule. I plan my days around walks, feedings, and playtime, ensuring pets always get the attention and care they deserve. Being available most of the day allows me to give our furry friends consistent companionship, love, and maintain a calm environment. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I do all sitting and walks by myself to ensure the safety of your home and your pet. In your home, I create a calm, pet-friendly space free of hazards and stress. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding routines, medication, and preferred walking routes. I build trust through gentle handling, consistent communication, and lots of love, ensuring every pet feels safe and comfortable.

It looks so good sometimes I wanna try it. She is a the perfect fit to care for anyone’s pets.”
